Trustees

We are recruiting to build our Board of Trustees. This is an opportunity to contribute your knowledge and expertise to support our grantmaking work, strengthening communities and tackling inequality in Devon. 

We welcome applications from members of diverse communities or backgrounds, including young people, and those who bring lived experience or knowledge of activities undertaken in the programmes we fund. We’re particularly seeking people with experience in grantmaking and/or charity accountancy. 

Based in Tiverton, Devon Community Foundation is the largest independent grant funder for charities and community organisations in the county, created by our communities and for our communities.  Community foundations exist to bring together people and organisations wanting to make a positive difference where they live and work through place-based philanthropy.  

We are particularly looking for people who bring the following skills and experience:  

• charity accountancy  

• grantmaking 

• residential property management.
