About Villiers Park Educational Trust
Villiers Park Educational Trust is a national social mobility charity, committed to empowering young people to realise their potential.
For 100 years, we have been experts in working with young people aged 14-19 from under-represented backgrounds and have helped them to achieve better life outcomes.
Our unique and highly tailored programmes increase aspirations for learning and motivation, develop academic, employability, and personal skills, and raise attainment.
About the role
In close collaboration with the Head of Fundraising and CEO, you will manage the charity’s key relationships with corporate partners, helping to retain, nurture and grow existing partnerships.
This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across teams, giving you the autonomy to build strong internal and external relationships alongside a small, supportive fundraising team to deliver high-impact partnerships.
You will play a significant part in changing the trajectory of young people’s lives from underserved communities, and this role will be vital in ensuring the charity is able to sustain its programmes and, critically, expand its reach.
The role is offered on a part-time basis (3 days per week) and on a fixed-term temporary contract for a minimum of 6 months.
Who we are looking for
We seek an accomplished corporate partnerships fundraiser who is relational and proactive, motivated by the cause and the growth opportunities that exist.
This role would suit a partnerships fundraiser who is driven to succeed and steward partnerships into strategic long-term relationships that can help the charity diversify and grow income.
Providing best-in-class account management and reporting, as well as providing opportunities for partners to engage with the incredible programmes on offer for young people, you’ll be an expert relationship manager with a strategic mindset.
You will be driven to provide outstanding stewardship, cultivating meaningful and long-term relationships with corporate partners that extend beyond the transactional.
Relationships both internally and externally will be crucial to this role, so you will need to be able to work cross-functionally to ensure partners are both able to participate in the charity’s work and provide high-quality impact reports and timely communications.
Suitable candidates will be flexible, empathetic and warm, able to build relationships quickly, and able to react quickly to seize opportunities.
You will be deeply motivated to help young people reach their full potential, regardless of their background.
