Rough Sleeping Hub Assistant
About The Role
At St Mungo’s, our Pan London Rough Sleeping Teams (No Second Night Out and Somewhere Safe to Stay, Rough Sleeping Prevention Project) provide rapid response services to ensure no one has to sleep rough. Our work is ongoing, and we’re looking for compassionate and dedicated people to join our Pan London Assessment Hub and Staging Post Accommodation.
Your Role
As a Rough Sleeping Hub Assistant (internally referred to as Hub Assistant), you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safe, welcoming, and efficient daily operations of the service. Working alongside your team, you will:

Provide essential support and guidance to clients.

Be the first point of contact for visitors and clients.

Help coordinate health and safety measures within the service.
Flexibility is key, as you’ll work within a rota to make sure support is available when people experiencing homelessness need it most.
Working hours are Monday – Friday (7.5 hours per day), with exact shift times to be agreed.
About You
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, public-facing environments. You’ll bring:

An understanding of the challenges faced by people experiencing homelessness, either professionally or personally.

Experience in managing complex situations and strategies for navigating challenging behaviours.

Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Excellent organisation and time management skills.
