Job description

Prospectus are excited to be working with the our client to help them recruit for a Philanthropy Manager to join their Partnerships team. The foundation is an independent, non-profit charitable organisation working in partnership with a range of other organisations from the private, public and NGO sectors. They were set up in 1996 by the internet industry to provide an internet Hotline for the public and IT professionals to report potentially criminal online content within their remit and to be the 'notice and takedown' body for this content. The organisation works to eliminate child sexual abuse imagery online, preventing the ongoing victimisation of those abused in childhood and making the internet safer for all.

The role is offered on a permanent full-time contract basis with a salary of £52,500 per annum with a flexible hybrid or remote working model between home and their Cambridge office.  

This is an exciting new opportunity to join the Partnerships team at a pivotal time of growth. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on relationship management, playing a key role in driving income to support global child protection efforts, while shaping a culture of excellence within the team. The post holder will lead high-value relationships with major donors, trusts, and foundations. They will also manage and mentor the Partnership Officer – Philanthropy, helping them thrive and grow in their role.

They are looking for someone with a demonstrable Philanthropy management experience with high net-worth individuals, family trusts and foundations and proven track record of securing and managing significant five and six figure donations. They are looking for a candidate with demonstrable experience of proactively engaging in-person/virtually with major donors (or similar) to achieve relationship development objectives, including presenting personally and briefing senior colleagues to lead meetings. The ideal candidate will have a personal interest and working within the child protection sector and/or the not-for-profit sector.
