Director of Income Generation
JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF INCOME GENERATION
SALARY: £85,000 to £90,000 per annum
LOCATION: Hybrid (UK based) with regular attendance at their London office
Prospectus are excited to be working exclusively with our client - the global charity for the working animals of the world was founded in 1923 to support working animals across the world - to help them recruit for their new Director of Income Generation. Today, more than 100 years on from the charity’s launch, the organisation works in approximately 22 low-income countries to improve the welfare of working animals, including horses, donkeys, mules, water buffalo, oxen and camels. The charity's mission is to transform the welfare of working animals in low-income countries.
The Director of Income Generation is part of the organisation's Senior Leadership Team leading, motivating and inspiring the organisation in line with their strategy, agreed values and behaviours. They are responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive Income Generation Strategy that ensures long-term sustainability and financial growth. This role oversees all the charity's new and potential income streams including individual donors, major donors, legacy donors, trust and foundation grant makers, corporate partners, institutional donors and commercial / earned income. Working closely with teams across multiple countries, the post holder will ensure that their revenue generation activities resonate with diverse audiences and stakeholders around the world.
They are looking for a candidate who has demonstrable senior-level experience leading successful, large-scale (six figure +) income generation programmes in an international, non-profit context. They are looking for someone with demonstrable experience of a range of fundraising channels including at least four of the following: individual donors, major donors, legacy donors, trust and foundation grant makers, corporate partners, institutional grants and commercial / earned income. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the issues around animal welfare and an empathy and passion for the values and work of the charity.
