This is an exciting opportunity to support the Kew Society, a leading community-based charity in South West London, by becoming our new Chair. The Society is run entirely by volunteers for the benefit of everyone who lives in, works in or visits Kew.
You will lead our great team, set the strategic direction of the charity, chair meetings…and lay the foundations for the next 125 years! This includes delivering our strategy to "broaden and deepen" the Society's membership so that it becomes more representative in respect to age and ethnicity of the local community.
Completely apolitical, the Kew Society works on behalf of our members to influence decision-makers about issues, such as environmental, that could have a positive or negative impact on our local area. We also run events to help connect our community.
