We are delighted to be supporting a UK higher education institution in their search for a temporary Admissions Officer to join their admissions team. This is a full-time role offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional, student-focused service and play a key role in the applicant journey from enquiry to enrolment.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities for this role include:
• Acting as the first point of contact for prospective students, providing timely advice and guidance.
• Supporting the processing of applications, including initial checks, data entry and document management.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date applicant records on internal systems.
• Assisting with the organisation of interviews, open days and applicant events.
• Contributing to confirmation and clearing activities and wider admissions projects.
• Ensuring compliance with admissions policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
• Proven administrative experience, ideally within higher education.
• Strong IT and organisational skills, with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of admissions processes and student systems (such as UCAS or SITS) is desirable.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
