Volunteering Manager (VOLUNTEER ROLE)

Let's face it: lockdown ended, but loneliness didn't. At SUNSHINE, we believe no one should feel alone. We're a brand new start-up charity born from those tough times, and now we're building a community where everyone feels connected.

We're looking for someone special to join our family as our first ever Volunteering Manager. This isn’t a typical job; it's a chance to build something beautiful from the ground up. You’ll be the heart behind the scenes, creating a home for our volunteers and helping us spread a little sunshine.

What you'll do:

• Build and launch our entire volunteering programme.

• Find, welcome, and train new volunteers.

• Create a culture of kindness and joy.

• Make sure every volunteer feels valued, engaged, and like they belong.

We're looking for someone who:

• Loves people and community.

• Has experience in leading or coordinating teams.

• Is creative, empathetic, and full of team spirit.

• Believes that kindness and connection can truly change the world.

What you'll help create:

• A place where loneliness is met with friendship and every act of service radiates warmth.

• A team that feels inspired, happy, and uplifted after every shift.

Location: London-based with some remote flexibility.

Time Commitment: Flexible volunteer hours.
