Job description

Are you passionate about people, community, and making a real difference? Join our client's team at a vibrant sheltered housing service offering 40 self-contained flats for individuals aged 55 and over.

They’re looking for a dedicated Accommodation Worker who will help them provide more than just a place to live — you'll help build a true sense of home and belonging.

What the role involves:

As an Accommodation Worker, you’ll play a vital role in:

  • Delivering an exceptional Intensive Housing Management service

  • Supporting residents with everything from property allocations and rent arrears to void management and low-level anti-social behaviour

  • Organising and encouraging engaging, meaningful activities to boost wellbeing and reduce social isolation

  • Creating a welcoming and supportive environment that people are proud to call home

You'll also be part of the wider Older Persons Team, with the opportunity to work flexibly across other sites.

What they’re looking for:

  • Experience or understanding of housing services (especially in a supported or sheltered setting)

  • A genuine passion for helping others and supporting older people to live independently and thrive

  • A strong sense of social purpose — you’re motivated by making a difference in people’s lives

  • Someone who brings energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything they do

If you're someone who believes in the power of community and enjoys supporting people to live well, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are part of our client's DNA.  Together, they continue to build a culture that encourages, supports, and celebrates difference.  It fuels their innovation and connects us even closer to customers and communities.

They are keen to reflect the communities they serve and welcome applicants from a broad range of backgrounds and experience.  They are committed to tackling issues of under representation in their staff team. As such, they will guarantee an interview to any candidate who, has a disability, or considers themselves to be from an ethnic minority background and meets the essential criteria of the role.
