Job description

This ad-hoc voluntary remote role is based in Southampton for the Vice Chair of the Board. The Vice Chair will support the Chair and Founder in leading the board, ensuring effective governance and strategic direction of the organization. They will work closely with board members and executive staff to implement ThriveSpark Southampton’s mission and objectives, engage with stakeholders, represent the charity at events, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The Vice Chairperson will also take on additional responsibilities in the absence of the Chairperson.

 

Qualifications

  • Leadership, governance, and strategic planning skills
  • Experience in non-profit management and community engagement
  • Strong understanding of ADHD and neurodiversity
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups and individuals
  • Experience in fundraising, partnership building, and resource development is a plus.
