Donor Development and Legacies Lead

The Talent Set are delighted to partner with our sector leading client in their search for a Donor Development and Legacies Lead. This role holds strategic responsibility for regular giving and legacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to grow individual giving, focusing on donor retention and legacy programmes.
• Management and development of a team of 4 with 2 direct reports
• Cultivate and steward relationships with existing donors while identifying new prospective donors
• Plan and oversee targeted campaigns and events to boost donor engagement.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure consistent messaging and maximise fundraising efforts.
• Monitor and analyse giving trends, preparing reports to inform future strategies.

Person Specification

• Proven success in managing a regular giving income stream with experience of £1 million plus expenditure budgets and multimillion income from a similar sized organisation
• Ability to develop strategic plans, set priorities, and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Effective team leadership, thriving on ensuring the team hit their targets
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Skilled in data management and utilisation of CRM or fundraising software.
• Positive, proactive, and capable of working independently in a collaborative environment.

What’s on Offer
Salary:  Circa £60,000
