The Talent Set are delighted to partner with the fantastic charity to recruit a Trusts Officer for a vital role within the charity sector. The successful candidate will oversee and develop trust relationships, ensuring effective management of charitable giving and advancing organisational priorities through strategic trust engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with existing trustees and cultivate new trust relationships to support organisational objectives.
- Prepare compelling grant applications and reports to secure funding from charitable trusts.
- Monitor trust funding commitments and ensure compliance with their guidelines and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement trust fundraising strategies.
- Maintain accurate records of trust applications, correspondence, and deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
- Represent the organisation at trust-related meetings and events as required.
- Keep abreast of funding opportunities and industry developments relevant to trust fundraising.
Person Specification
- Experience in trust fundraising, account management, or related roles within the charity sector.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with trust representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance requirements related to trusts and charitable funding.
- Proactive approach to identifying opportunities and navigating challenges.

Salary: £28,000–£34,000
