Job description

Do you enjoy connecting with others? Join us as a Lunch Club Volunteer and help create a warm, welcoming space for older adults in Roehampton!

 

What you will be doing

  • Assist with setting up the lunch area
  • Welcome and engage with attendees in a friendly and respectful manner
  • Help serve food and drinks, ensuring dietary needs are considered
  • Support with clearing up after lunch, including washing up and tidying.
  • Work collaboratively with staff and other volunteers to ensure a positive experience for all.

The skills you need

  • Friendly, approachable, and patient
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience related to working with older people desired but not essential
  • Knowledge on food safety
