Safe Haven Manager

Pay: Salary: £27,596.40 (£17.69 per hour) Plus Shift Allowance (5 hours per week: £4.80 per hour)

Job Description -

Andover Mind is one of the leading mental health providers in Hampshire. Our Safe Haven service supports those in mental health crisis in Basingstoke and mid Hampshire in our calm, safe and welcoming space. The service is covered 7 evenings a week from 5.30pm to 10.30pm, 365 days a year (including bank holidays) on a rolling 4 week rota, and is based at our Wellbeing facility in Basingstoke.

As our Safe Haven Manager you will play a vital role ensuring our successful service with delivering high-quality, effective, and compassionate support that continues to run efficiently, thus maintaining the level of care and quality of support currently being provided by Andover Mind.

Using your management experience within mental health, you will drive innovation to enhance our services and standards, managing daily operations, including staff rota and service flow. You will also be the driver for our partnership working with the other Safe Havens and NHS organisations.

Using your knowledge of working within the mental health sector and previous management experience you will manage your teams ensuring processes and policies are adhered to. You will build upon professional links and represent our service with external agencies and regulatory bodies, using your ability to communicate to promote Andover Mind.

The role also requires being part of an out of hours on call rota- this is paid additionally to the annual salary.
