Caretaker and Facilities Assistant

We’re looking for two reliable, practical and hands-on Caretaker & Facilities Assistants to help keep our Middlesbrough Youth Hub clean, safe, secure and welcoming for the young people, community groups and partners who use it.

This is a varied role combining cleaning, caretaking, building security and routine health and safety checks. You’ll help make sure the Hub is ready for everyone who walks through the doors – from maintaining high standards of cleanliness to opening and closing the building, carrying out safety checks and spotting and reporting anything that needs attention.

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, is comfortable working independently and can be trusted to take responsibility for the building. You’ll need previous experience in cleaning, caretaking, facilities or a similar practical role and be happy to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends.
