The ICPG is a network of 80+ Jewish UK-based academics. About the Role

As Pathway Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Middlesbrough Positive Pathways service, supporting around 100 people annually across accommodation and outreach. You’ll oversee the management of 14 self-contained accommodation units, ensure high standards of housing management and compliance, and work closely with stakeholders across Middlesbrough and Teesside to promote pathways out of homelessness.

Purpose of the job

This role is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to join the UK Youth Network Delivery Department. The Summer Jobs Programme is the largest programme in UK Youth’s portfolio. Funded until the end of 2026, the programme is currently operating in its second year. The purpose of this role is to identify and secure employment placements, including those that generate some income, for The Summer Jobs Programme as well as overseeing the employer journey from start to end. Working closely with the Summer Jobs Programme Manager, the Employer Engagement Manager has key input into the work experience aspect of the programme. 

The Summer Jobs Programme is a paid employment initiative running from July to September 2025 and 2026, supporting vulnerable young people in England and Wales. It aims to reduce youth violence and improve future engagement in education, training, and work by removing barriers to employment and offering structured, empowering opportunities. Young people begin with a one-week pre-employment training course, followed by a five-week job placement. Throughout, they’re supported by both a local youth worker and an employer-based supervisor to ensure they receive consistent guidance.

Funded by the Youth Endowment Fund and Youth Futures Foundation, the programme launched in 2024 with over 400 participants and has expanded in 2025. A built-in Randomised Control Trial (RCT) will assess its impact on youth violence and long-term outcomes. In 2026, the programme will grow further, completing a three-year period of delivery and investment aimed at driving long-term, evidence-based change.

This Communications Officer role is available on a fixed term contract and part-time basis. The salary for this role is £35,000 FTE (pro-rata for 4 days a week). This role is also available on a remote basis.
 
You will report to the Director of Fundraising and look after the communications function of the charity. You will support with work on a rebrand, campaign management and continuous updating of the charity’s website. You will produce high quality content which includes, engaging articles, social media and website content, newsletters, flyers, booklets, and impact stories. You will also film and edit reels for social media channels.
 
You will play a key role supporting the Director of Fundraising in managing/promoting fundraising campaigns, initiatives and events. You will also support with day-to-day marketing duties such as reporting website stats, beneficiary feedback, press management and updating directories. 
 
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent copywriting skills and be able to write for a range of different audiences with impact. You will be digitally savvy and experience using WordPress and web analytics tools (e.g. GA4). You will have in brand management and understanding of SEO. You will have experience using design software (e.g. Canva/InDesign). You will have experience executing fundraising campaigns and publishing digital and print content. You will also have experience in working with a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
 
Desirably, you will have experience filming and editing reels for social media and basic understanding of HTML.

About our generalist advice service

We are contracted by Bath & NE Somerset council to deliver a generalist advice service to residents of the area. The contract was won by competitive tender in 2022 and runs for five years until March 2028.

The service is accessible by phone five days a week and face-to-face at three outreach locations in Bath, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton. Follow up appointments are available by phone, at our offices or outreach locations.

Established in 2014, the National Counter Trafficking Centre runs several programmes across England and Wales. One of these is the Independent Child Trafficking Guardianship Service (ICTG) as outlined in Section 48 of The Modern Slavery Act 2015.

You’ll bring vision and new ideas, combined with great listening skills, humility and the ability to unite stakeholders around the chosen direction.

Ideally, you’ll have a good understanding and experience of our Peckham community, but if not, you’ll bring a strong understanding of communities who may have a similar profile, with a commitment to get to know the community that Pecan serves.

As a Christian charity, there is a genuine occupational requirement in Pecan’s Articles for the CEO to be a Christian. Part of your role will be to nurture key relationships with local churches, so you’d be comfortable in a church context and to pray with and talk to them about opportunities to support the work of Pecan. You will also be able to lead a workforce of diverse faiths.

What we can offer you:
