ISEAL are looking for someone with expertise in climate change, nature and biodiversity to join a small but growing area of work. This role will contribute to the design and delivery of ISEAL’s scaling strategy to unlock investment and market incentives for smallholders and small-scale producers, grounded in robust climate, biodiversity and nature outcomes data.

The Associate Manager will play a critical role in delivering ISEAL projects in the context of climate, nature and measurement related to delivering value to small scale producers and small and medium enterprises. The role will collaborate closely with ISEAL’s internal programme teams, community members, and technical partners to assess the feasibility, impact potential, and scalability of climate and nature-related innovations developed and tested within the ISEAL community. Developing an understanding of company and investor sustainability objectives, the role will contribute to building confidence in sustainability outcome data and increase willingness to pay or invest in the transition to sustainable land and resource management by producing enterprises.

To be considered, candidates will bring solid knowledge of climate, nature and biodiversity, particularly related to small-scale agricultural producers, and a keen interest to build on this in the context of voluntary sustainability standards. Experienced in convening stakeholders on technical topics, the ideal person will bring strong data analysis skills and an ability to produce communications accessible to different audiences.

The key responsibilities we entrust you with

Project delivery

• Support senior colleagues with designing and planning project activities related to market-based incentives, climate, biodiversity and nature
• Deliver assigned project activities and key outputs across a range of projects
• Lead or contribute to technical workshops and focused discussions with community members and external partners on data collection and delivery models for environmental and social outcomes
• Support engagement with private and financial sector actors to understand demand for credible, consistent sustainability outcome data

• Take a coordinating role in convening ISEAL’s climate and nature community, facilitating learning exchange and collaboration across the ISEAL membership.

Experience, Knowledge and Attributes

• Existing working knowledge of climate, nature and biodiversity and related regulations and trends
• Understanding of corporate sustainability objectives, reporting, metrics and outcome methodologies
• Understanding of the theory and methodology behind GHG accounting, SBTI initiatives and carbon removal methodologies and how use of these translate into practice
• Understanding of the impacts of climate change on primary (particularly small-scale) agricultural production and how producers can adapt to these changes to mitigate these impacts
• Good understanding of international and/or rural development  Proven ability to analyse large sources of information and to identify and summarise the most important points in accessible language
• Experience in facilitating sessions and workshops, working with stakeholders to reach consensus decisions

The postholder will develop and lead fundraising and partnerships, raising crucial funds to support MumsAid’s growth. We are looking for an experienced, versatile fundraiser who can hit the ground running, bring a holistic approach and work with a range of donors and funders to help MumsAid develop a sustainable income pipeline. 

This role has strategic accountability for fundraising and managing funder relationships. You will lead our competitive tendering and grant application work, and develop our corporate partnerships.

This is a part-time post, flexible on location, although some travel within the UK may be required. The role will provide support at fundraising events, requiring some occasional evening and weekend commitments (for which time in lieu will be granted).

Main Duties 

Leadership and Management: 

· Work alongside the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and Board (particularly the Fundraising and Marketing Subgroup) to proactively identify potential sources of funding and realise opportunities for growth. 

· Devise and develop appropriate strategies, produce and deliver strong proposals and pitches. 

· Provide knowledge of current fundraising practice and develop a consistent working strategy that is sustainable.

· Assist in informing long-term financial/business planning and clarifying priorities. 

· Support the SLT and Board in developing a comprehensive framework for reporting on the charity’s impact, including to funders. 

Oversee and support monitoring submissions.

Fundraising:

· Develop, implement and evaluate a fundraising strategy in line with MumsAid’s priorities, to include key areas of focus – fundraising from trusts and foundations, statutory fundraising, corporate fundraising, to secure c. £500k over the next 2 years.

· Research, formulate and write applications, bids and tenders, including to statutory funders and trusts and foundations, coordinating with other team members for input as necessary.

· Build strong relationships with existing and potential funders, partners and stakeholders.

· Write reports for funders to meet deadlines and submit further applications for existing funders where appropriate.

· Work with the SLT and Board to develop and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, funders, partners and corporate organisations to ensure good communication about organisational/project progress, address any issues that arise, and identify new income streams. 

Organisational and General Duties: 

· Maximise fundraising efficiency by using and developing our CRM to ensure there is a clear process for recording and managing fundraising activity. 

· Contribute to the financial planning, budgeting and management accounts process. 

· Contribute to the development of MumsAid’s understanding and communication of our Return on Investment (ROI).

· Report regularly on KPIs, monitoring and evaluating against social impact and ROI. 

· Develop and manage a reporting schedule for the Board and funders to ensure monitoring and reporting is in done in an effective manner in line with organisational priorities, tracking restricted and unrestricted income, project development and targets. 

· Maintain awareness of fundraising and charity law and ensure that activity adheres to relevant legislation and guidance. 

Communications and Marketing: 

Liaise with colleagues to help shape and implement our marketing and communications plan, ensuring our reputation is upheld and our knowledge is shared through positive, consistent and accurate communications and messaging.

A little bit about the role 

Location: Hybrid, 2 days a week expected in our London Office. Those living outside the M25 can opt to not receive London Office Allowance and agree a more flexible office attendance pattern at offer stage.

Salary: £27,613.80 (£31,000.53 including London Office Allowance) plus competitive pension

The Academic Registry team, one of the sub-teams within programme management, is responsible for ensuring that participants’ academic  programme journeys are well-administered. The team are responsible for areas such as academic policies and processes (including for assessment and student records), along with several other operational aspects of Frontline’s academic provision, from attending and preparing data for examination boards or exceptional circumstances panels, to liaising with external markers.

The Academic Programmes Administrator will work to contribute to a first-class participant experience on the Approach Social Work programme. The post holder will be required to be flexible and adaptable in response to diverse requirements in the wider team through the academic year. A high standard of customer service is expected throughout, including at peak periods. 

Some key responsibilities include:

• Act as first point of contact for queries from various stakeholders, working closely with regional delivery teams to ensure that applicants, participants and Fellows (our programme alumni) are fully supported with the information they need
• Service online and in-person meetings as required, including scheduling, circulating papers, coordinating breakout sessions and writing minutes.
• Provide support to the academic registrar for all registry functions, including the recording of assessment outcomes and preparation for exam boards
• Maintain accurate participant records, ensuring that all data is maintained and shared appropriately and in line with legal and regulatory requirements

They are looking to bring someone into their collaborative team who comes from a Housing / Property background with experience in leading on Management Accounting and Business Partnering. 

Responsibilities:

• Providing management accounts to agreed deadlines, including key financial information 
• Carrying out financial analysis and presenting findings, and business partner with budget holders to support in commercial decision making
• Assist with rolling cash flow forecasts and support with relevant journals for management accounts
• Support on the development of the annual budget and adhoc requirements around year end audit

Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years minimum post qualification experience
• Housing or Property experience, ideally within a Management Accounting / Business Partnering role
• Proficient with excel, has used a variety of finance packages and understands accounting principles 
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders

Responsibilities:

• Posting journals for rent transactions into finance system in a timely manner
• Reconciliations bank, rent and service charge control accounts, supporting financial accuracy
• Ensuring customer payments are reconciled, liaising with stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies
• Carry out reconciliations of all daily universal credits receipts, providing updates when necessary

Requirements:

• Finance background with some knowledge of rent accounting and reconciliations
• An understanding of rent setting and ability to work independently
• Confident using excel and various finance packages
• Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders and strong time management skills
