We’re now looking for a Head of Data & Insight to lead this change. You’ll shape how data is managed and used across the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association — ensuring it’s accurate, secure, and drives decision-making at every level. Leading a skilled team, you’ll oversee reporting, analysis, and compliance, while providing high-quality insight to support our charitable objectives and make a real difference for people living with and affected by MND.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, motivate and develop the Data and Insight team to provide expert support across the Association.
• Line manage 3 direct reports.
• Work with stakeholders to set priorities and agree deliverables.
• Oversee workflows to ensure deadlines and service level agreements are met.
• Maintain and continuously improve data quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with legislation including the General Data Protection Regulations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory and data protection matters to directors and senior managers.
• Advise on projects and initiatives, ensuring data and insight are effectively embedded in plans.
• Collaborate with Technology heads and actively contribute to leadership discussions and strategy.
• Support the delivery of the Association’s Digital, Data and Technology strategy.

About You:

• Extensive experience in managing large CRM or care systems, ideally in a fundraising or non-profit setting.
• Proven experience keeping up to date with compliance, data protection and other regulatory legislation.
• Skilled in resolving complex data protection challenges.
• Experienced in campaign and database analysis and management using advanced tools such as MS Dynamics, FastStats and SQL.
• Knowledgeable in customer relationship management principles.
• Able to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
• Collaborative, with the ability to work across teams and influence at all levels.
• Confident in explaining technical concepts in clear, accessible language.

About you

You’ll have strong technical knowledge and practical experience of the following:

• Microsoft on-prem and cloud stack (AD/AzureAD, Server/Client OSes, Exchange Hybrid, M365, Intune)
• Microsoft Azure cloud services, including Azure Networking, RBAC/IAM and Storage
• Microsoft Security stack tools (Defender, Security and Compliance, Purview)

You’ll have significant experience of implementing and supporting Infrastructure technology solutions, as well as practical experience of Security stack systems including but not exclusively vulnerability management. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead NatureCityNorwich – a three-year multi-partner project supported through Nature Towns and Cities, a programme funded by National Lottery players to help urban areas protect and enhance their natural heritage.

The project will co-create a community-led urban nature recovery action plan, placing nature and people at the heart of Norwich’s future. It will map and address the city’s ‘nature gaps’, improve access to green and blue spaces, and empower communities to shape a more resilient, biodiverse and inclusive city.

You’ll be responsible for co-ordinating, managing, and overseeing all aspects of NatureCityNorwich – from setting up effective governance to ensuring workstreams are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

You’ll work closely with partners including Norwich City Council, Norfolk County Council, South Norfolk and Broadland District Council and other key stakeholders to create a lasting legacy for nature in the city.

You will be experienced in engaging and working with communities and a confident communicator with the ability to network with people across all levels.  You will be able to deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions, working collaboratively with both internal and external colleagues.

You will cover the following areas:

- East Lancashire – Burnley, Blackburn, Darwen, Rossendale, Hyndburn, Pendle and Ribble Valley
- Central Lancashire – Preston, Chorley and Ormskirk
- North Lancashire – Lancaster, Blackpool and Fylde and Wyre
- South Lancashire – Kendall and Barrow-In-Furness

You will be able to manage your own projects and a small team of community volunteers, prioritising as you go. Whilst this is a homeworking role the majority of your time will be working out within the community and you will be required to regularly travel across Lancashire and South Cumbria. You must live within the Lancashire and South Cumbria area.

What you’ll focus on:

- Identify, engage, build and nurture relations with key stakeholders and influencers in each local community to ensure that dementia is a local priority.
- Develop an excellent understanding of the issues that prevent communities from engaging in dementia services and supporting the development of services to make them as inclusive as possible
- Develop and deliver community specific workshops and awareness sessions that make a positive impact for people living with dementia in their community.

Role description:

We are seeking a technically excellent management accountant to play a central role in the finance team at this young and vibrant charity, preparing monthly management information to aid business decisions, and undertaking project work as requested.

The successful applicant will:

- Have significant demonstrable experience in finance within the charity sector, in a similar role

- Hold a professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

- Have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Power Query, BI, and dashboard development and modelling

- Be fully conversant with accounting regulations and an understanding of Charity SORP gained whilst working within a Charity

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

The Marketing Co-ordinator will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of engaging marketing activity that promotes the work of the MND Association. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, the Marketing Co-ordinator will help create, deliver and evaluate marketing plans, ensuring that our activities reach and resonate with diverse audiences. This role will suit someone with strong organisational skills, creativity, and experience of working in a busy marketing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and co-ordinate a wide range of marketing activities, ensuring smooth collaboration between teams.
• Manage schedules, resources and communication channels to facilitate the implementation of marketing plans and initiatives.
• Support and lead the delivery of audience-focused marketing plans from briefing to completion.
• Support the creation and distribution of engaging content, including blogs, videos, infographics and stories.
• Work collaboratively across the Association to build effective relationships with key stakeholders and assess marketing needs
• Recommend effective ways to share marketing content and reach wider audiences.
• Conduct market and audience research, analysing data to inform future activity.
• Work with the Marketing Manager and team to deliver campaigns and strengthen marketing strategy.
• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all materials and channels.
• Support the planning and delivery of fundraising and awareness campaigns.

We are looking to recruit HOPELINE247 Advisors to provide individually tailored suicide prevention advice and guidance to young people and those who are concerned for them via our national multi-channel helpline HOPELINE247 and deliver suicide prevention training online and in community settings across the UK.

What you will do:

• Work as part of a team providing suicide prevention support to a range of clients via multichannel communication platforms.
• Work on a 7-day shift system
• Use professional judgement to assess the needs of the service users who present with risk to life and manage and report any matters related to safeguarding. 
• Maintain accurate records and input data monitoring into the data base system.
• Participate in clinical supervision and reflective practise. 
• Provide training, mentoring and coaching to new recruits.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• a degree or professional qualification in Health or Social Care, Community Work or a related discipline
• previous experience of working in an advisory capacity in suicide prevention or mental health
• a proven record of working directly with vulnerable young people
• experience of providing advice and guidance via multiple communication channels
• the ability to empathise, support and build rapport with suicidal people and those who care about them, remaining non-judgemental and adhering to the remit of the service

Salary: £31,454 per annum (Scale point 24) progressing by increments to £34,776 per annum (Scale point 28) As a night shift worker, you will receive an additional allowance of £173.00 per month based on working 4 nights per week.

Hours:  33 hours per week

Working arrangements:  This role will work shifts starting at 10:25pm and finishing at 7:40am. Shifts will be on a rota bases across a 7-day working week.  33 hours will be based upon working 4 nights shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities: 

1. Assessing learner skills and needs to establish starting points/baseline, with other TAP staff

2. Setting up and supporting learners in work placements to develop their skills and gain meaningful experience

3. Observing and evidencing the learner journey (keeping detailed records), monitoring learner progress (including target progress)

4. Liaising with families and team around the learner as required and to contribute to reviews- ensuring learners are working towards their outcomes and aspirations

5. Supporting employers and learners to work together effectively- suggesting and implementing reasonable adjustments

6. To work with Curriculum Manager/Team Leaders to support learners during class days, helping to create learning materials as needed.

7. To work with Curriculum Manager/Team Leaders to support learners with travel training, wellbeing support and signposting to extracurricular/socials and community events

8. Working alongside the Engagement Officer to find, source and maintain employer relationships

9. To support learners during social events, insight days and trips
