The role

To co-ordinate the day to day operations, supervise a large team of volunteers and ensure the ongoing success of the FareShare East Anglia food warehouse in Ipswich. This will involve working closely with warehouse colleagues and volunteers to ensure that all operational activities are completed to the agreed timetable and to the food safety standards set out in the FareShare operating manual. Main areas of responsibility

Operations

• Work as a team with the Warehouse Manager , Warehouse Coordinator colleagues and volunteers to ensure all shifts are adequately planned, supervised and meet operational needs this includes driving a Forklift
• Responsible for organising food distribution using the FareShare food management systems
• Maintain excellent relations and communications with volunteers, staff, food suppliers and charities
• Ensuring all key activities and milestones per shift are met
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to develop new operational processes as required and take an active role in their implementation
• To carry out any other duties which may be necessary in the light of the main purpose of the job..

Health & Safety

• Be responsible for the Health & Safety and security of FareShare East Anglia buildings, vehicles, staff and volunteers, including the delivery of appropriate health & safety briefings.
• Carry out & update risk assessments as defined by the FareShare operating manual and complete risk assessments for all new activity as required.
• Ensure compliance with all FareShare policies and procedures and industry standards as required by food donors and regulators.
• To ensure that the vans used by FareShare East Anglia are roadworthy and legal (taxed and insured) and to ensure there is payment of appropriate charges.
• Support the development of relevant policies and procedures for FareShare and to ensure that all staff, volunteers, food suppliers, charities and visitors adhere to them as appropriate.
• To comply with monitoring and evaluation systems as required for the Regional Centre’s activities and report regularly to the Warehouse Manager as required. 

Operating Hours and Shift Pattern

Position will be 07.30 to 3.30,/ 08:30-16.30 Monday – Friday and, on occasional Saturdays on a rota basis.  

Flexibility to provide cover for planned and ad-hoc absences as well as Public and Bank Holidays is highly desirable in this role and also offers the opportunity for additional hours to supplement the core hours.

Qualifications

Essential

• Commitment to gain, if not already held, intermediate certificate in food hygiene.
• Full Drivers Licence and had forklift training

Experience & Knowledge

• At least one years’ experience of one or more of the following:
  • supervising/managing staff and/or volunteers
  • warehousing operation
  • food distribution

• Experienced driver, with full, clean driving licence and willing to undertake forklift training.

The purpose of the Bookkeeper position at Latin American House is to ensure accurate and timely financial administration, supporting the efficient management and smooth operation of the organisation’s financial activities. The Marketing Manager at CBM UK is a vital role and has responsibility for delivering CBM UKs digital and direct marketing plans to engage and inspire individual supporters and churches to support the work of CBM.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing, as part of the Public Fundraising team, the role holder will be responsible for the management and development of two Marketing Officers. Through digital and direct marketing, the Public Fundraising team are responsible for raising over £3m of unrestricted income from cultivation, acquisition, mid-value donors, regular giving, legacies and churches.

Key responsibilities
Fundraising campaign management (40%)
Manage the effective implementation of the annual public fundraising plan, ensuring that all activity is of a high standard, and delivered on time and to budget:
a. Oversee cultivation fundraising appeals primarily carried out through direct mail and email, leading on the continued development of mass fundraising to engage both existing and potential supporters, including high donors, regular givers and church communities.
b. Manage and develop CBM UKs donor acquisition activity in collaboration with the Marketing Officer (Acquisition), using channels such as social media, magazine inserts, press advertising, email and telephone.
c. Oversee the delivery of CBM UKs legacy and in-memoriam giving plans and campaigns.
d. Identify and consider new income streams and broaden the channels used currently for direct response campaigns to reach an agreed balance of long-term value versus risk.

Digital marketing (40%)
Grow digital engagement and income from new and existing supporters:
a. Lead on Pay Per Click strategy, including agency management and development of internal capabilities.
b. Oversee CBM UK’s paid social media activity.
c. Collaborate with the Communications Team to optimise the performance (traffic and income) of fundraising pages, including appeal and donation pages, churches and community, legacy, and in memoriam giving. Ensuring fundraising pages on the CBM website are engaging to existing and new audiences and where appropriate, utilising Search Engine Optimisation tools where appropriate.

d. Explore and make use of new and existing digital platforms and partners, such as Dataro and SEMrush, while promoting a culture of testing, innovation and learning within the digital space.

Leadership and people management (10%)
a. Support and inspire direct reports in line with CBM UK’s staff management policies and procedures. Ensure team members are appropriately trained, briefed and motivated to achieve their objectives and meet targets and recruit to posts where relevant. Regular 121s and appraisal reviews.
Planning and reporting (10%)
a. Monitor and report on fundraising appeals, identifying opportunities for future testing and optimisation, and contribute to the creation of annual planning, budgeting, and the setting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
b. Work closely with the Data and Insight team to ensure strong joint working on technical solutions related to campaign analysis, tracking and insights across digital systems, such as the website, donation platform and CRM (Salesforce).
c. Plan, deliver and report on campaigns/projects within an agreed budget.

Other
a. Ensure the consistent use of CBMs brand, key messages and style guide across all fundraising activities.
b. Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to direct marketing, including Fundraising Regulator guidance, and Data Protection legal requirements (GDPR and PECR).
c. Collaborate with colleagues across CBM UK and the CBM Global Federation, to support integrated and partnership based working.
d. Help foster a positive and inclusive culture of enthusiasm and success, reflecting the ambitions of CBM, and promoting positive working and innovation.
e. Be willing to work occasionally outside normal office hours and to travel in the UK and internationally if required.
f. Ensuring that the values of CBM UK are understood by external partners and always reflected in communications.
g. Undertake other duties as required by the Head of Marketing and Director of Fundraising, Impact and Communications.

We’re looking for a Finance Officer to join our close-knit finance team. You will work closely with the Financial Controller on the charity’s accounting, financial reporting and budgeting processes. This is an exciting role - you’ll be working on reports for some of the charity’s key stakeholders, from the staff who lead our centres through to members of the Senior Management Team and external funders.

Experience of finance is not a prerequisite – rather, we are looking for skills, aptitude and potential. However, you must be able to demonstrate a high level of numeracy, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel is important.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Devices Co-ordinator to join the Clinical Asset Team. Your role is to support the Medical Devices Safety Engineer in pro-actively delivering maintenance responses, updating jobs on the CAFM system, ensuring compliance and asset management systems are up to date at all times.

Role Requirements

• Provide operational assistance to all matters pertaining to clinical assets including compliance, asset management, service management and lifecycle management.
• Ensure clinical assets onsite are compliant or taken out of service.
• Allocate jobs to the appropriate contractor, using CAFM systems to create a document trail and manage frequently broken items, escalating issues to the Medical Devices Safety Engineer as appropriate.
• Raise purchase orders as required, appropriately storing relevant documents accessible to the team with expenditure tracked and ensuring appropriate service contracts are in place.
• Updating compliance system with relevant documents for compliance and tracking purposes (including those for Therapy items)
• Participating in the CAWG (Clinical Asset Working Group) and chairing and minute taking in absence of the Medical Devices Safety Officer
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.
• First response to clinical asset jobs coming through to the Helpdesk, co-ordinating with clinical staff at the scene, ensuring the appropriate response is carried out.
• Ability to work under pressure and to make decisions and problem solve as issues arrive
• React to orders and PPMs and within set SLA timeline, ensuring ongoing monitoring. Supporting the Medical Devices Safety Engineer in development of new PPMs.
• Collate relevant data and assist with the weekly work order tracker report and assist in distribution to relevant stakeholders.

About the role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will have responsibility for the leading the annual budget setting process for the organisation – circa. £8m.

You'll report to to the CEO, Executive Team (ET), and with the Finance and Commercial Director (FCD) support the preparation of papers for the Board on the numbers, with narrative, detail and analysis where appropriate.

The role will not line manage but will be expected to coach, mentor, collaborate with and contribute to the development of the other members of the finance team - we are, all of us, internal customer facing.

As Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting budget holders to produce robust forecasts for the Management Accounts and to produce monthly Management Accounts with the Finance Manager.

Job Title: Housing Support Worker

Location: Luton, floating support service based within the office and around different locations within the community

Salary: £24,500

Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may be required to work outside these hours as necessary to service requirements.

About the role

This is an exciting new role within a brand new contract to support the referral process from the Housing Solutions teams! The service focuses on providing floating and wraparound support to single applicants who are at risk of homelessness and are able to live independently, by providing a housing support plan towards resolving housing needs and support them into long-term, stable housing.

In this role, you will conduct proactive outreach with our participants to develop personalised support plans for housing for appropriate long-term housing options, including accessing private rental listings and understanding application processes for tenancy. You will help our participants navigate the resources available to them including benefits and support services, advocating for their needs whilst empowering them to take ownership of their housing journey. You will work closely with the Landlord Liaison Officer who bridges the gap between our participants and private landlords. You will work closely with them to achieve prevention and relief outcomes by assisting the participant to remain in their provided accommodation. 

You will provide follow up support to ensure tenancy sustainment and successful transitions into permanent housing, keeping casefiles up to date with activities and documents, and escalating any high risks or high needs to the management team.

This role is ideal for someone who has a real passion towards helping to end the cycle of homelessness, providing support to those who need it to live in stable accommodation. The Children’s Trust is the largest paediatric inpatient provider of tertiary (level 1) specialised neurorehabilitation for children and young people with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). As a Post-CCT Fellow, you will be a key member of the Medical Team, providing clinical care for children and young people who are admitted to The Children’s Trust for specialised neurorehabilitation.

You will receive support from Consultants in Paediatric Neurodisability, Consultant Paediatrician, and Associate Specialist in Neurodisability.

Working hours are 9am - 5pm daily, with no obligatory Out of Hours cover.

• Fundraising Appeals: coordinate fundraising appeals including the Pecan and Foodbank Christmas fundraising campaign, Big Give Campaigns, and other appeals across all income and media streams.
• Fundraising Systems and Processes: Oversee our fundraising systems and processes using our new CRM (Beacon) to ensure data is accurate, GDPR compliant, segmented and usable for effective analysis, reporting and engagement. 

Key Requirements (specific skills, qualifications required):

• Proven experience in individual giving fundraising, including appeals and donor journeys.
• Experience managing and stewarding a portfolio of regular and one-off donors.
• Experience of using and maintaing a fundraising CRM (e.g. Beacon, Raiser's Edge, Donorfy, Salesforce), including data segmentation and analysis.
• Experience writing compelling donor communications (letters, emails, thankyous, updates). 

Desirable knowledge/expertise

Your role is to support the Procurement & Clinical Asset Manager and be responsible for and ensure a high level of compliance is maintained whilst overseeing maintenance responses, keeping pivotal databases up to date, updating jobs on the CAFM system, compliance reporting, and updating asset management systems.

Role Requirements

• Provide operational expertise to all matters pertaining to clinical assets including compliance, asset management, service management and lifecycle management.
• Working alongside the project teams for hoist and bath installations
• Ensuring clinical assets onsite are compliant or taken out of service.
• Ensuring LOLERs (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations) and servicing are carried out with the preferred contracted suppliers.
• Supporting the Medical Devices Assistant to refer jobs to the appropriate contractor, using CAFM systems to create a document trail and manage frequently broken items, escalating issues to the Procurement and Clinical Asset Manager as appropriate.
• Approving purchase orders as required, appropriately storing relevant documents accessible to the team with expenditure tracked. Ensuring appropriate service contracts for all clinical assets are in place alongside any budget restrictions and existing commitments
• Assist with the implementation and changes made to processes within the Medical Device & Equipment Management Policy across site, for approval via the Procurement and Clinical Asset Manager and Head of Procurement & Contract Management
• Providing the Bed Audit Condition report to Therapy on a quarterly basis
• Overseeing bed/mattress/large equipment moves including those for new admissions with placements and attending admission meetings
