We are looking for a passionate individual with experience working with vulnerable people, to dedicate the next part of their career to supporting survivors of modern slavery with independent living needs, legal challenges, psycho-social needs and future plans.

You will become part of a vibrant team who are passionate experts in survivor support.Your input will ensure that our beneficiaries with complex needs receive the highest standard of support and advocacy in a way that empowers them to move forwards in to independence.  You will also provide training and supervision and work closely with our volunteer caseworkers who provide support to beneficiaries with less complex needs.  Every day is different at Snowdrop.  You could be dealing with crisis siutations, completing long-term care plans, advocating for an indivuals rights, taking part in national policy discussion or designing and running training.

You will need to have a proven track record of providing this type of support to vulnerable people; can demonstrate skills that make you approachable and trustworthy; enjoy working both independently and as part of a team; and can keep good written records.

Two of our Fundraising Team have recently departed for exciting new projects, and we have taken this opportunity to create some different posts within the team. Our Relationship Fundraiser will work closely with colleagues across the charity to deliver excellent supporter care and stewardship, building long term relationships for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund. Attending a range of community events and networking opportunities to act as the face of the charity, including delivery of presentations, and to raise our profile across the region.

You will be responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with local businesses, and ensuring excellent stewardship of our donors, especially those giving larger philanthropic contributions.

You will also take the lead on our Friends of Lingen Davies scheme for regular donors, ensuring they are kept informed and engaged, and building their numbers.

You will work with colleagues to develop the use of our CRM system and apply data analysis to support delivery of the role, and to develop future plans and direction. You will be self-managing, motivated, have excellent interpersonal skills and be computer savvy!

Background and Purpose
Bristol Mind is a local and independent charity working at the heart of our community to offer
equity-based, inclusive and accessible mental health and wellbeing support. We work with over
2,000 service-users and 75 volunteers each year, delivering a range of services including:

• InfoLine telephone information and advice service
• MindLine confidential telephone listening support
• Meeting Minds 121 counselling, with LGBTQIA & Neurodivergence streams
• Community Wellbeing: targeted services for refugees and victims of hate crime

Meeting Minds is a busy low-cost counselling provision and one of a growing element of
Bristol Mind’s services. Our online and face-to-face talking therapy is delivered by both
trainee and qualified counsellors for adults aged 18+ for up to 16 sessions, and includes
Humanistic, Psychodynamic, TA and Gestalt approaches. Our placement counsellors
come from a wide range of training providers such as BCPC, UWE as well as Metanoia
and the Berne Institute. In addition, we have some trainees on Doctorate programmes
in Counselling Psychology in Newport and Bristol. All our counselling staff and
volunteers are fully supported with regular clinical supervision and management, and
feedback from both counsellors and clients is excellent.

Job Description

We are currently restructuring our Meeting Minds team with a view to developing our
service offer, including applying for BACP accreditation. With this in mind, we are
seeking a Clinical Lead, responsible for delivering both clinical assessments and clinical
supervision, and for ensuring our service continues to adhere to the BACP ethical
framework. This vital role will suit you if you are an experienced, accredited BACP
counsellor and clinical supervisor with a passion for equity-based counselling and a keen
eye for managing risk. You will be part of a small and friendly team, working closely with
our Head of Counselling to ensure our service meets the needs of our local community
and is of the highest quality.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Undertake approximately 10- 12 client assessments per week, over the phone or Teams.

Work Arrangement:  40 hours per week, Due to the operational nature of the role, working days will involve weekends. The working pattern will regularly involve antisocial hours, evenings and long shifts

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Wedding & Functions Manager, the Events Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end event management of weddings and private events taking place in our venues across Wandsworth, including but not limited to the Pump House Gallery, Bandstand, and Bowling Green in Battersea Park, and Wandsworth Civic Suite.

The role will be centred around the operations of our wedding spaces ensuring that health and safety procedures are adhered to when on – site.  You will also support with selling our wedding spaces and managing enquiries. 

The Events Team are a busy, creative, tight knit group of vibrant professionals who are looking for someone to join the team who pride themselves in 5 start customer service and going the extra mile for their clients. In the events team we celebrate creative problem solving and integrity approach to workload. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities

• Sales: Providing information about the availability of venues, quotes, and supporting on carrying out site visits
• Operations: Manage the delivery of events, which includes but is not limited to implementation, onsite delivery, negotiation of contracts and vendor arrangements, support and post-event closing. Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is displayed at all times
• Event Production: Supporting the Head of Events and Events Team with the delivery of events produced by Enable and assist with the physical set up and dismantling of events
• Admin/Finance: Managing client invoices, venue bookings and budget 

We are looking for someone who has previous wedding and venue management experience and is passionate about supporting clients to make sure their event runs smoothly. Someone who is hands on, willing to set up venues and get stuck in whenever necessary. Detail orientated, highly organised and great at thinking on their feet. 

The successful candidate will have

• Previous wedding and venue management experience with demonstrable experience of end-to-end events management planning
• Experience in budget management 
• Experience managing multiple clients and events simultaneously
• Patience and ability to negotiate professionally with suppliers  
• Proactive approach and pride yourself on going the extra mile to create the best customer experience as possible  
• A full clean manual UK Driving Licence  
• Availability and flexibility to work  weekends, early mornings and late nights when required

• You will play a vital role in organising both virtual and in-person meetings and events, ensuring they are impactful and align with our strategic goals.
• Your role will also involve managing health and safety compliance, equipment procurement, and data protection, ensuring our operations support our remote working model effectively.
