About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Chief Engagement Officer at Macmillan Cancer Support. This instrumental role will provide executive and administrative assistance to help deliver our strategic and operational objectives.
In addition to supporting the Chief Engagement Officer, you will role-model administrative best practices, collaborating effectively across the Engagement directorate and wider organisation to ensure high-quality output. You’ll be proactive, responsive to the Chief Engagement Officer’s needs, and ready to step in and support the team when required, demonstrating a hands-on, can-do attitude.
About you
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Managing diary, travel, appointments, and external engagements for executives and/or senior leaders
- Handling correspondence, ensuring confidentiality and high-quality output.
- Overseeing departmental budgets, including invoices and expenses.
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless operations and engagement opportunities.
- Managing workflow and ensuring the executive and/or senior leaders' time is utilised effectively.
