Make-A-Wish UK is looking for a passionate and driven Corporate Partnerships Executive to help us deliver life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses. Essential criteria:
- Strong relationship management and communication skills.
- Ability to develop creative and compelling partnership assets.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Experience in financial processes, reporting, and CRM tools (ideally Salesforce).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
- Flexible and willing to travel across the UK to strengthen and support partnership engagement.
- Experience in corporate partnerships, account management, fundraising, or a related role.
- Experience in the charity sector, particularly in corporate fundraising.
- Knowledge of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) landscape and employee engagement strategies.
Core Purpose
The Corporate Partnerships Executive plays a vital role in managing and growing corporate relationships to maximise income and engagement. The role involves stewardship of existing partnerships, delivering corporate assets and communications, and ensuring smooth operational processes. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams to create partnership assets, support fundraising activities, and drive engagement across corporate supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Partnership Management
- Manage a portfolio of five-figure partnerships and act as the primary point of contact for smaller corporate accounts, including our UK partnerships through Make-A-Wish International.
- Provide support for larger strategic partnerships that will include but not limited to: developing bespoke fundraising initiatives and newsletters, coordinating charity champion networks, tracking income, attending partner meetings and assisting with bespoke partner events and promotions to ensure all fundraising and communications activities remain on track to achieve income targets.
Stewardship & Administration
- Ensure timely thanking of partners through certificates, letters, and recognition initiatives.
- Coordinate with the volunteer team to identify, promote, and track volunteering opportunities for corporate partners.
- Represent corporate partnerships on internal working groups, ensuring alignment with wider organisational objectives.
- Provide administrative support to the wider corporate partnerships team
- Ensure the corporate website is kept up to date with relevant partnership information and opportunities.
Corporate Communications & Financial Processes
- Support corporate financial processes, including invoicing, reporting, and data management.
- Assist with Gift-in-Kind (GIK) donations and tracking.
Internal Collaboration & Compliance
- Work collaboratively across teams to align corporate partnerships with wider fundraising and engagement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and ethical fundraising standards.
- Support internal initiatives, including volunteering opportunities and engagement activities.
