About the role

As Crisis looks forward to the next decade, we have a clear vision of how homelessness can be prevented and ended in the UK. This will be achieved by securing the policy changes that will solve homelessness, by delivering services that end homelessness for people and places, and by building a community of people across Britain who are helping to end homelessness.

As Senior Partnerships and Practice Officer, you will support each of these areas. You will work alongside Crisis’ policy, communications, and campaigns teams in England, Scotland, and Wales, to further Crisis’ policy objectives and ambition through knowledge and practice examples.

You will support the development of Crisis’s own services across Skylight Centres informed by best practice identified internally and externally. This will include leading a Community of Practice within Crisis.

You will support communities across Britain that are helping to end homelessness, by building relationships with external organisations and supporting the development of tools and resources to enable them to end homelessness. For example, you will be directly involved in exciting projects like; developing a Built for Zero placed based approach in defined areas and supporting our charity partners such as Lloyds Banking Group on joint projects and to develop their approaches to preventing and ending homelessness too.

You’ll work alongside Crisis Homelessness Alliance signatories and other corporate partners supporting them to understand more about homelessness and how we can all play our part to prevent and end homelessness.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have great networking skills and be good at making relationships across a range of different sectors.

You’ll understand how local authorities and wider public bodies work and be able to build connections and rapport with individuals working there.  

You’ll understand housing and homelessness systems and the current legal frameworks that underpin them across the UK. You’ll be able to identify barriers and themes and know how services can be designed to make sure that those who need help can get it and how to listen to the voices of those who use it.

You’ll be passionate about change and seeing homelessness prevented and ended, with a drive and energy to shape the role to do this.

As EA to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this role has a primary focus in providing comprehensive administrative support to the COO, in collaboration with the wider Directors’ office team and the COO’s direct reports.

They will be responsible for delivery of smart and strategic diary management for the COO and handling administrative tasks on the COO’s behalf. At Alzheimer’s Society, we believe no one should face dementia alone. Every conversation, every visit and every small moment of reassurance can make a real difference. We are looking for a warm, thoughtful and organised Dementia Adviser to join our supportive team in Bridgend and the wider Cwm Taff Morgannwg area working 21 hours per week on a fixed term contract until 31 March 2027.

You will work closely with people living with dementia and those who care about them, providing ongoing support. You will listen carefully, understand what matters most to each person and offer guidance that helps them feel steadier and more confident as their situation changes.

Your days will be varied and meaningful. You might be visiting someone at home, offering calm reassurance over the phone, or working closely with other professionals to make sure the right support is in place. We operate a triage system for new referrals and you will play your part in making sure people are responded to quickly and thoughtfully. You will manage your own caseload, keeping clear and accurate records, while always seeing the person behind the paperwork.

About you

You will have:

- An understanding of dementia, or a willingness to learn about the experiences of people living with dementia and those who care for them.

Hereford Cathedral is recruiting a Visitor Engagement Assistant to join its Visitor Engagement Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract funded by the Cathedral Sustainability Fund. This varied, people-focused role will support the cathedral’s ministry of welcome and help provide an excellent, inclusive experience for visitors, pilgrims, volunteers and group organisers.

Working closely with the Visitor Engagement Manager, you will welcome visitors, support the Box Office Desk, assist with ticket sales and bookings, coordinate group visits and visitor activities, and help keep visitor areas and information well presented. You will also support volunteers on duty, including Guides, Museum Volunteers and Welcomer Volunteers, through rotas, communication and day-to-day guidance.

The post is 19.5 hours per week on an alternate-week pattern: 10:00–17:00 Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday one week, then 10:00–17:00 Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the next. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required, with time off in lieu for agreed overtime.

Salary is £23427 (FTE) per annum, with an 8% employer pension contribution. As our new Director of Programme Impact, you will shape the strategic direction and development of our programme portfolio, ensuring our partner-led work continues to grow in reach, quality, effectiveness, and impact.
You will bring strong programme leadership, people management expertise, and a commitment to partnership-based approaches that support locally led development. As a member of CBM UK’s Leadership Team (LT), you will contribute to the overall strategic direction of the organisation while leading and motivating a committed Programmes Team. You will play a key role in strengthening CBM UK’s contribution to the CBM Global federation, working closely with country teams, technical specialists, and partners to maximise our collective impact.
An experienced leader, you will provide strategic oversight across a diverse portfolio of programmes, partnerships, and funding opportunities. Overseeing an annual budget of around £4million, you will have a strong track record of delivering impactful programme strategies, building and developing high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an established senior leader who is ready to take the next step into their first Director-level position, as well as those with existing director-level experience.

Key Responsibilities
Programmes Leadership & Management (70%)
1. Lead the strategic and financial development and oversight of CBM UK’s international programme portfolio, ensuring the organisation delivers its programme strategy with maximum impact and effectiveness in alignment with CBM Global’s strategy. Support and line manage the team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans to ensure excellence in programme funding, development and delivery.
2. Drive quality and effectiveness within CBM UK projects and across CBM Global by
a) ensuring effective coordination of tasks, forward planning of key activities and events, and providing space for collaboration, problem-solving, escalation and innovation across the portfolio.
b) identifying and improving policies and procedures that ensure proportional programmatic oversight and support complex institutional funding management.
c) supporting Programmes staff to work with country teams to pursue a localised approach to programming, drawing on the CBM Global localisation roadmap.
3. Work with Programme Funding colleagues to lead and oversee the development of strategic partnerships and packaging of programme approaches that secure institutional funding for CBM UK’s programmes, including by strengthening intelligence on donor trends and funder priorities, developing immediate responses to new opportunities as they arise in line with CBM UK’s mission.
4. Work closely with CBM UK finance, fundraising, communication teams and other CBM Global Members in creating and responding to opportunities for funding, driving growth, and promoting effective use of CBM UK’s voluntary income to leverage match funding.
5. Together with the Board and LT, actively manage programme risks based on CBMUK’s overall risk management framework.
6. Demonstrate leadership in maintaining an environment free from harm for project participants, CBM UK and partner staff by overseeing the management of safeguarding concerns arising in CBM UK supported projects, including reporting to the Board and Charity Commission where appropriate.
7. Promote within the Programmes Department a culture of learning, reflection and continuous improvement which only results in an improved programmatic approach but also informs and supports our advocacy, advisory, and evidence and learning work.

8. Liaise closely with CBM UK colleagues to ensure coordination and effective integration of programme activities into opportunities for fundraising, including contributing to the innovation in business models to diversify CBM UK’s funding base, including exploring sustainable funding approaches to enhance programme delivery and reduce dependency on the charitable model (in conjunction with the CEO and Director of Fundraising, Impact and Communications).

Organisational leadership (20%)
1. Contribute to the overall leadership and strategic direction of CBM UK through the Leadership Team, and in collaboration with the CEO, including contributing to Board meetings.
2. As part of the Leadership Team, take shared leadership responsibility for the wider CBM UK team of staff and volunteers, supporting effective collaboration and organisational cohesion, and taking on cross-functional responsibilities where appropriate.
3. Encourage and promote a culture of ambition, learning and excellence across the CBM UK team.
4. Be responsible for producing and initiating regular reports, briefing papers and other relevant programmes information for the CEO and Board Programmes Committee as appropriate.
5. Lead on supporting the Board Programmes Committee, working closely with the Committee Chair to ensure members are provided with the information necessary to permit strategic oversight and robust risk management.
6. Lead UK’s engagement with CBM Global's programmatic leadership, in particular Directors of Programmes in other CBM Member Teams (Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, Switzerland), CBM Global Secretariat, and Technical Directors, working towards greater alignment, escalation of issues, and collaboration to advance CBM UK’s approach to localisation.

Representation and advocacy (10%)
1. Represent the organisation at the highest levels, including deputising for the CEO where required. Act as a key spokesperson for CBM UK with a range of external audiences, including institutional and statutory donors and strategic partners, media, policy and decision makers and other international and national non-government organisations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key geographic stakeholders, including diplomatic representatives, ensuring effective engagement and alignment with CBM UK’s programme priorities.
2. In alignment with Advocacy and with Advisory colleagues, contribute to best practice in the UK disability and development sector by forging good relationships with UK-based and international NGO and disability sector networks to advocate for the adoption of inclusive development policies and practices, and champion innovative inclusive programmatic approaches.

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to lead RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens, taking full day-to-day responsibility for the branch and reporting directly to our board of trustees.

This is an exciting time to join us, as we take steps to secure the future of our branch. 

Our current team is small but dedicated, with an established Management Team who oversee our kennel and cattery facility, a foster network and rehoming programme, a dedicated staff animal care team and volunteer programme, and income generation.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic fundraising expert to join us for 12 months as an interim Director of Regular Giving and Legacies. This new senior fixed-term role will lead a review of LSE’s approach to regular giving (annual giving/annual fund), legacy fundraising and parent and family giving, drawing on global best practice and sector benchmarking to develop an ambitious, evidence-based strategy for future growth.

The postholder will work closely with the Executive Director of Alumni Engagement and Individual Giving, fellow Directors and colleagues across fundraising, supporter engagement, systems and data to assess current activity, identify opportunities, and set out clear recommendations for future structures, resources, fundraising methods, KPIs and long-term financial targets. You will also provide senior leadership and oversight to the Regular Giving and Legacy functions, supporting a high-performing, collaborative and donor-focused culture.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape an important area of fundraising for LSE, helping to create the conditions for increased alumni participation, stronger donor engagement and sustainable philanthropic income over the coming years.

About you

You will bring substantial experience of regular giving, annual giving, legacy fundraising or closely related philanthropic programmes, ideally with strong knowledge of international best practice and North American higher education fundraising models. You will be confident using data, insight and benchmarking to shape strategy; skilled at influencing senior stakeholders; and able to balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term strategic ambition.

Working arrangements

Our usual working arrangements are at least two days per week from our London campus. However, recognising the specialist skillset and preference for global expertise, we would consider flexibility on location, hours and working patterns for exceptional candidates as long as the requirements for the role can be met.

The Royal School of Needlework is the International Centre of Excellence for the Art of Hand Embroidery. Based at the historic Hampton Court Palace, we have been dedicated to preserving and innovating in the art of hand embroidery since 1872. Our thriving education programme offers courses for all levels, from beginners to degree level, and we teach onsite and online in locations across the UK, and internationally in America, Japan, and Australia. Our renowned Embroidery Studio creates bespoke embroidery for fashion, art, and royalty and offers expert conservation and restoration services for valuable and historical embroidered pieces.

The RSN is unique. No other single organisation covers the breadth of education and practice to promote the art and technique of hand embroidery or has our connections, collection, archive and heritage. Overview of Role:
To provide operational and administrative support across the RSN’s educational programmes, including the Certificate and Diploma, Tutor Training Course, Short Courses, International Summer School and On Demand Courses.

Main Duties 

The main duties include, but are not limited to: 

General Administration 

• Manage the Education Email Inboxes, responding to queries and complaints as appropriate. 
• Monitor and order stock levels, ensuring supplies are available as needed. 
• Handle the packing and mailing of kits and materials, both nationally and internationally. 
• Support classroom setup for various courses, including Short Courses, Bespoke Classes, and events. 
• Assist in preparing beverages for students and visitors, maintaining cleanliness in the area. 
• Escort visitors and guests from reception, including tour groups, while representing the RSN brand confidently and enthusiastically. 
• Attend offsite events as required. 

Course-Related Administration 

• Support the Certificate and Diploma Programme Managers in the administration of the course. 
• Provide logistical support for educational tours and other departmental activities. 

Other Duties 

• Maintain a professional and efficient workflow within the Education team. 
• Provide comprehensive administrative assistanceto the Education Management Team, including scheduling, correspondence, and maintaining organised records to facilitate programme delivery.

The Work Rights Centre is looking for a passionate communications or press professional to lead our agenda-setting media coverage. The successful candidate will develop and deliver our comms strategy, lead on media relations to amplify our impactful work, and devise strategic systems-change campaigns.
