We are looking to recruit two part-time Advocate(s), each working 28 hours per week, to provide independent and confidential advocacy to children and young people under the care of the Local Authority in Norfolk.

You will work with looked after children and young people to empower them to express their wishes and feelings in decisions that affect their lives to ensure that their voices are heard.

Your role is to listen to them, hear how they feel and what it is they want and support them by promoting their understanding of outcomes and options that are available to them so they can make informed decisions whilst ensuring that their legal rights are upheld and that they are treated fairly.

You will do this by:

• Attending decision making meetings with the young person and ensuring that others know how the young person is feeling and what it is they want.
• Providing impartial information to the young person.
• Assisting the young person making a complaint.
• Asking question to other professionals on behalf of the young person.
• Signposting to other relevant services.

We are looking for someone who shares our passion in changing the lives of children, young people and vulnerable adults.

You will have experience in working with all or some of these groups within a relevant setting and have the ability to communicate effectively with them and other professionals. You will also understand the importance of maintaining professionalism.

You will also live within the geographical area in order to fulfil the requirements of the role.

We understand that you may or may not have significant direct experience and this isn’t a problem as we can offer full training and you will be supported by NYAS in obtaining an Advocacy qualification.

As Complex Needs Community Keyworker you will provide one-to-one support to women on Probation living in the community, and women being released from Prison as part of their Post Sentence Supervision. You’ll provide focused support in identifying their needs and empowering them to access appropriate services in the community. You will also provide some in-reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support prior to women being released from prison.

You will manage a caseload of women with complex needs who are facing housing issues and provide them with advice, guidance and support that helps them connect with other support services in the community that can assist them to overcome barriers when securing safe and appropriate housing.

The role involves a significant amount of data recording and updating case management systems so you need to be prepared to spend a minimum of 35% of your working hours on this aspect and will need to manage your time effectively to meet the data management requirements. This is also a predominantly independent role, so you will need to be confident to make decisions and able to manage your own workload.

You will be employed by One Small Thing but will be part of a wider team of Community Keyworkers employed by our partner Advance. You will also have a desk space at Hope Street, Southampton, to facilitate close working with the rest of the Hope Street team.

You will be required to participate in training and team building events with the wider One Small Thing team as well as the Advance team, in Hampshire.

This post requires that you are able to drive and have access to your own vehicle; there may be occasions where you are required to support residents to attend appointments. You will also be required to attend local or county meetings or training.

We are looking for a Care Supervisor with experience in care homes, adult health, social care, or community settings. About the role:

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Drive Data Team Manager and Senior Managers within the Drive Partnership to ensure data and reporting remains rigorous and robust, and informs recommendations across the Drive Programme and partners. You will do this by taking a lead role on the ongoing data collection, analysis, research design and delivery of our work across the Drive Programme workstreams.  The Senior Data Analyst will also act as a liaison between data teams within Respect and Safelives where there is identified workstreams that cross over. 

The Senior Data Analyst will manage the Drive Data Analysts to ensure high quality data collection, reporting, quality assurance, analysis, and maintenance of Drive programme data, including data collected via the projects Case Management Systems you will use data and information to influence policy and inform practitioners, commissioners, and government about the sector. This is a great opportunity to see our data and research inform and improve the response to domestic abuse. 

About you: 

• Experience of analysing and drawing meaning from large quantitative data sets, including the advanced use of Excel 
• Experience of developing and managing Case Management Systems and the reporting from the system 
• Excellent analysis skills with a strong ability to identify key themes in complex material, test interpretation and ensure that messages are relevant to practice and policy contexts

Job Purpose

• To support the Food Education team with the organisation and delivery of all food education programmes

• To recruit and manage volunteers and placement students

Key Tasks

• Recruit, manage and brief volunteers to pursue the aims of School Food Matters. This includes matching volunteers to sessions to make best use of their talents

• Manage university placement students and continue to develop our relationship with their respective universities

• Provide project support to the Senior Partnerships and Programmes Officer in both the office and on-site to deliver SFM’s food education programmes

• Deliver marketing workshops, assemblies and other programme-related sessions as needed

• Manage the We Can Cook programme in London, and oversee the Food Teacher’s calendar

• Ensure Airtable is kept up to date with volunteer data and session information

• Book and manage coaches for school trips, liaising with the coach company and the SFM team on the ground

• Keep up to date with safeguarding requirements and reporting procedures

• The Volunteer Coordinator will also undertake any other tasks relevant to the affairs of SFM that may arise from time to time.  Therefore, being flexible and approaching the job with an open and positive mindset is essential!

The Thalidomide Trust is a charity which was established in 1973 to provide assistance and support to people born in the UK with disabilities caused by their mother taking the drug Thalidomide. We are looking for a Health & Wellbeing Coordinator (Independence & Care) to join our busy Health & Wellbeing Team to meet the increasingly complex needs of our 423 beneficiaries, now aged between 60 and 66 years, whose disabilities include: absence or shortening of limbs; damaged ears, hearing and eyesight; brain and sensory impairment and extensive damage to the internal organs and skeletal structure. 

As our beneficiaries age their health is deteriorating rapidly and they face particular challenges maintaining their quality of life and independence. This post provides an opportunity to work as part of a professional multi-disciplinary team, empowering them to manage their health and wellbeing and access the services and support that they are entitled to.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, Social Care professional to join our Health & Wellbeing team on a 12 month Fixed Term contract.

Your role will be to understand the unique and often complex growing needs of our beneficiaries and to provide advice, advocacy and support to empower them to access the health and social care services they need. You will lead on hospital discharge planning and rehabilitation and support to access social care, so must be proficient in these key areas with recent experience. You will also lead on supporting Personal Independence Payments (PIP) applications and while we welcome experience in this area, full training will be given. You will contribute to the development and delivery of the Trust’s health and wellbeing services, and you will be an important part of the successful delivery of the annual programme of Holistic Needs Assessments (HNAs), carried out in beneficiaries’ homes.

Skills & Abilities

To succeed in this busy but highly rewarding role, you will:

• Be a good listener with excellent interpersonal skills and a flexible approach 
• Possess excellent knowledge of current social care referral, assessment and funding processes and the interface between health and social care – particularly in respect of hospital discharge planning and support
• Already have a good practical knowledge of the UK benefits system, particularly PIP
• Have experience of undertaking needs assessments (including in people’s own homes)
• Have a track record of working effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Be comfortable working without clearly defined protocols and have creative problem-solving skills and a solutions-focussed approach
• Be sensitive, empathetic and non- judgemental and
• Have excellent organisational skills and an ability to work autonomously and prioritise a busy workload.

The role is full time (5 days a week – Monday to Friday).  However, 4 days a week will be considered (Friday must be a working day).   There is the opportunity to work either from the Trust’s office in St Neots, Cambridgeshire or home (within 45 miles/1 hour from St Neots) but there will be the requirement to attend regular team meetings in St Neots and regular travel to visit beneficiaries across the UK, with the possibility of overseas travel.

You will work alongside the team to plan, develop, promote and undertake a range of events and activities, support our grant-making process and interact with external stakeholders, suporters, families and the community.

• You will liaise with grant recipients, direct beneficiaries and our grant panel judges.
• Participate in multi-organisational community events - engaging on a 1 to 1 basis with healthcare professionals, corporate agencies and members of the public.
• You will act as an ambassador for the charity in all interactions and support the charity with a wide-range of operational and administrative duties, including helping to create and distribute electronic newsletters, updating our website and customer relationship management.

About the Role 
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support the Senior Finance Manager in the smooth running of day-to-day finance operations. You will play a key role in maintaining financial controls, supporting the annual audit, processing transactions, and delivering timely financial reporting. The Finance Officer will be a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, supporting effective financial management across the organisation. 
 
Key responsibilities 
To provide high-quality administrative and financial support across the Finance Department, acting as the first point of contact for finance enquiries and managing the finance inbox. This includes maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks, processing invoices, expenses, and payments, performing regular bank reconciliations, and managing credit card accounts. Supporting the Senior Finance Manager in producing timely and accurate reports—including departmental budgets and management accounts—and assisting with preparing documentation and liaising with auditors for the annual audit.  
 
What We are Looking For 
The ideal candidate will have experience in a finance or accounting support role, with working knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures—ideally including QuickBooks. They will demonstrate strong administrative and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a sound understanding of VAT, expense processing, and reconciliations. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. A collaborative, proactive attitude, and a commitment to the ISUOG’s mission and values are also key.

The Rise service, offers evidence-based individual and group interventions in educational settings for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, as well as supporting settings to develop their whole school/college approach to mental health.

Senior Wellbeing Practitioners (SWP) are a new role developed by NHSE as part of CYP-IAPT workforce development, and a new addition to our Rise service.

We are seeking an EMHP-trained Senior Wellbeing Practitioner with:

-3+ years post-qualification experience as an Education Mental Health Practitioner.

-Experience in delivering clinical caseload and clinical skills supervision to low-intensity practitioners (trainee and qualified EMHP & CWP).

-Skills in managing various duties associated with the role, including line management responsibilities, delivering supervision, and holding a small caseload.

-Ability to support the management team and clinical lead with strategic service development.

-BABCP/BPS recognised supervision qualification relevant to the low-intensity workforce. Though this is not essential.
