About the role: 

As our National Youth Project and Campaigns Manager,  you will be responsible for delivering the charity’s youth strategy, we are looking for someone who is well organised, passionate and has a range of skills to work on a diverse project. You will develop engaging, innovative and creative national campaigns reaching young people, parents/guardians and professionals across the UK. You will also be responsible for supporting our Regional Managers in the development of regional campaigns.

Key responsibilities of our National Youth Project and Campaigns Manager:

• Leading on the coordination, delivery and prioritisation of all Fearless activity, including successfully developing and managing the youth strategy and overseeing National and Regional plans to ensure activity is aligned, measurable, cost-effective and on brand
• Project managing the development of engaging and creative national campaigns, from project brief through to launch and evaluation
• Working with the Digital Content and Creative Assistant, develop and sign off social media content in accordance with our brand
• Maintaining, reviewing and developing the Fearless website
• Inspiring and engaging our volunteer Youth Panel. Managing the recruitment and retention of the panel, as well as supporting all projects generated by the group
• Maintaining and developing the suite of Fearless resources; including digital assets, national artwork and crime specific resource booklets

Your Role: As an event professional, ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience gained in an event coordination role and be ready to grow into a role with greater responsibility and autonomy. This is a hands-on event coordination role in a small team. Dog School plays an essential part of achieving positive change in the community; aiming to prevent the development of problem behaviours in dogs which may lead to relinquishment or euthanasia. Our teams provide positive, high quality, welfare friendly advice on dog training and behaviour during our fun, educational classes. Using only reward-based methodology, the Dog School aim is that each dog leaves the school with the ability to follow basic cues and behave well in everyday settings.

You and your team will organise and deliver a minimum of 15 training classes per week (both online and in person), ensuring the attendees get the best possible experience within the school. Leading a small team of coaches, you will have a responsibility for development of in-class training skills and behaviour knowledge, as well as undertaking all performance management activities. Acting as a Dogs Trust ambassador you will promote Dog School in the local area through networking with relevant local businesses and targeting potential local events.

With experience of delivering dog training Classes you will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Passionate about helping dog owners better understand their pets you will have a good knowledge of the scientific principles underlying the development of behaviour in dogs.

One in seven people in the UK experience tinnitus.  This role will positively and proactively innovate, manage and improve Tnnitus UK's services and build on the reputation of Tinnitus UK to date.  This role leads Tinnitus UK's efforts in providing direct support to Tinnitus through multiple channels including telephone, and online.  In addition liaises with regional support group leaders in the provision of support, face to face and locally.  Given that Tinnitus UK is the only charity in the UIK to provide such services delivery of these services at the highest standard is essential and consequently enhances the reputation of the charity,

The position is responsible for the development of the strategic and annual plans associated with the provision of these support services, and has direct day to day responsibility for implementing them through multiple channels (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK.

This role provides strategic oversight and management of the services portfolio (helpline services, support group and volunteer programme, events) nationally in Tinnitus UK.  The post holder works with the Chief Exeutive and the rest of the Leadership team to deliver services, ensuring that goals are achieved through effective management practices, that staff are motivated and supported to build sustainable services to meet the needs and expectations of the tinnitus community and work closesly with research to remain up to date on the latest understanding of the issues that cause tinnitus and solutions that help address and mitigate the challenges facing sufferers.  The role ensures that all activities are carried out in accordance with statutory requirements, quality standards, information governance requiremens and organisational policies.

1. Develop and implement our services strategy

The salary for this position is £28,723 (FTE £35,904) – Manager Level, part time (28 hours – 4 days per week). We have fully embraced flexible working and the role can be either fully remote, hybrid or fully based at our Colchester offices. Location

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Evidence Manager to join our Insight and Evidence team.

In this role, you will be playing an essential role in collating, analysing and communicating the evidence on a wide range of issues relevant to our communities.

We already know a huge amount about the priorities, needs and experiences of people who are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus. We now want to take this to the next level to inform our evidence-based approach to support our programmes, services and policy work. In this role you will be taking a lead on how we can both broaden and deepen our insight from the available evidence; we want to improve how we communicate and share this information to a wide range of stakeholders; and we want to get better clarity on where the gaps are that most urgently need addressing.

The role is an ideal opportunity for someone who is interested in a wide range of social issues and how they are experienced by and affect our communities. We take an inclusive approach to evidence – we recognise that much important insight is gathered and held in ‘grey literature’ generated by third sector organisations, for example, and value qualitative insights alongside quantitative approaches.

We are looking for someone who embraces this inclusive model and is also flexible and creative: there are novel and interesting approaches to evidence mapping and reviewing (including the use of AI tools, participatory approaches etc.). We are keen to explore how we can incorporate these into our ways of working – whether that be for improved efficiency and/or to bring our communities closer to our work.

You will be working closely with colleagues in the Insight and Policy team, as well as with others across our matrixed organisation to ensure that the organisation is insightful and evidence-led.

You will lead the development of a new approach to our evidence management, in line with our new Insight & Evidence strategy and identify and select the most appropriate methods for systematically mapping, reviewing, and synthesising the evidence on key issues relating to our communities.

You should have strong experience in evidence searching, mapping, reviewing and synthesis, in a social research context. With a solid understanding of both quantitative and qualitative methodologies. You should have a demonstrable ability to distil evidence into a range of formats suitable for diverse audiences.

We are looking for an expert who can bring their enthusiasm and knowledge of autistic learners to join our team as our Aspirations Manager. You will be an effective leader, with school experience and QTS, who can inspire staff and our learners on their pathways to greater independence.

This role is a vital member of the Senior Management Team supporting the Chief Executive to make strategic decisions as well as contributing to the areas of Human Resources and Health and Safety to ensure Red2Green runs effectively.

· Creates and oversees a personalised service for clients that reflects the wider landscape within the county and the sector, with the intention that Red2Green and the Aspirations Service is an industry leader for Autism Services.

· Oversees all Education Provision for those at Red2Green with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)

· Organises, attends and takes a lead at EHCP reviews, writes EHCP offers and provides professional reports when needed

· Works as Deputy Designated Safeguard Lead (DDSL) alongside the Options Manager, and Chief Executive

• Builds professional relationships with other agencies, provisions and professionals
• Builds good relationships with learners’ families/carers to make sure that they are involved (as appropriate) in developing learners’ skills and abilities

Person specification:

You will have:

· Experience teaching autistic learners and a good understanding of the complexities that come from having more than one diagnosis
