Do you want to support a team who work with children, young people with emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties?
To lead and co-ordinate the clinically informed youth work team delivering brief intervention services in Gateshead supporting staff to work with Children, Young People, and Young Adults in our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services based in Gateshead offering low intensity support under a brief intervention framework.
It is planned to offer various drop ins in Gateshead venues have yet to be identified.
The nature of the Emotional Health & Wellbeing services the ability to build relationships quickly, identify risks, and process further support is vital.
Skills

-Appreciation and awareness of issues facing hard-to-reach young people around access to early help and crisis support.
-A working knowledge of current mental health support agencies in the local area.
-An understanding of current legislation, policy, procedures, and issues relating to safeguarding young people.
-Substantial experience of leadership within a mental health service.
-Track record of working with external stakeholders to deliver better outcomes for children and young people.
-Experience of working with a range of partners (both statutory and wider)

Part of our Equity, Inclusion & Culture Directorate, the Volunteering team is passionate about the positive impacts of volunteering for both individuals and organisations. Collaborative and supportive, we believe that volunteers are a vital part of our growing movement for change. We support the mobilisation of volunteers to deliver Shelter’s strategic priorities and provide the infrastructure and insight that enables that mobilisation.
We’re a fast-moving team, working to support corporate volunteering operations and develop innovative ways to involve corporate volunteers that allows us to tap into their skills, expertise and time.
Corporate Volunteering is key to helping us win and maintain high value partnerships. We have successfully developed and extended long-term, sector-leading partnerships with companies including HSBC UK, B&Q, M&S and Network Rail across England and Scotland. These partnerships are an essential part of Shelter’s income and we work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Team to do this.
About the role
This is an exciting role within the Volunteering Team. You’ll have responsibility for designing and piloting Shelter’s financial resilience volunteer programme in Leeds as well as supporting our nationwide volunteering programme. We’ll rely on you to use best practice volunteer management to design and pilot volunteering journeys from attraction, recruitment and training all the way through to ongoing support and exit. You’ll also be leading on evaluating the pilot and adapting our approaches based on learnings. The role involves collaborating with key stakeholders not only across Shelter but with our financial corporate partners to implement a volunteer programme that equips our volunteers to deliver their roles independently, whilst also having the biggest impact. Monitoring the contribution of volunteering activity, you’ll ensure our volunteers are recognised, celebrated, and feel valued for the part they play.
You will work closely with colleagues throughout our Volunteering Team to implement Shelter’s volunteering strategy and contribute to a consistent and quality experience for our Volunteer’s by developing new resources and processes that we can implement on a national scale. Working with the Corporate Volunteering Administrator, you’ll help utilise the volunteer database and report on data to evidence impact. And where relevant, you’ll seek to build co-production into ways of working so that people with lived experience of homelessness and bad housing are at the heart of what we do.

About you
With experience of leading the successful development of volunteering projects and solid volunteer management experience, you will be passionate about volunteering, with an excellent understanding of what makes a quality volunteer experience. You will have demonstrable experience of applying best practice principles to volunteering, to succeed, you’ll need experience of using innovative approaches to planning new volunteering activities and the processes that support them.
You’ll be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, including identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities to meet agreed objectives. Your great communication skills include an ability to influence and negotiate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels. What’s more, you’ll be confident creating and delivering high-quality presentations both online and in-person. You’ll be experienced in managing the specific approaches needed when involving corporate volunteers as opposed to non-corporate volunteers.

Your role
As Shop Manager at Scope's Gosforth shop, you’ll have autonomy to run your shop using your creativity and flair to flourish in our retail environment. About the role
As Artists & Influencer Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and deliver complex projects in support of Save the Children's campaigns. This is an exciting role where you will get to engage with artists and influencers for various exciting campaigns including Christmas Jumper Day.
You will work with the rest of the A&I team to build a strong roster of high-profile supporters, influencers and ambassadors, stewarding them to become passionate advocates for children's rights, delivering audience cut-through, fundraising objectives and helping build Save the Children's brand.
In this role, you will:
- Alongside the A&I team, be responsible for identifying and delivering the right blend of high profile personalities to support projects, activities and objectives across PR, digital, events, campaigning, partnerships and other.
- Spot opportunities and devise A&I activations that raise awareness and visibility of Save the Children amongst key target audiences with the aim of recruiting new supporters and encouraging them to take action.
- Develop and maintain relationships with current artists and influencers, developing their involvement with Save the Children in creative and innovative ways.
- Target and recruit new A&I supporters, whilst nurturing long term relationships with a view where relevant, to eventual commitment on Ambassador level. Keep up to date with supporters' broader schedules, spotting new opportunities for engagement as they arise.
- Write and present inspiring proposals for artists, agents, managers and publicists, creating and defining the right pitch for the right potential ambassador.
About you
To be successful, it is important that you have:
- Experience of working with digital influencers including building content and delivering activations.
- Understanding of social media landscape, trends and developments and ability to suggest ways to utilise them.
- Experience of working with talent - including those with global reach – in a range of settings.
- Ability to pitch and secure involvement of new talent, through written approaches and one-to-one meetings.
- Excellent personal networks with key talent, management, PR agents and other.

This is a Fixed term (12months), full time role of 37.5 hours per week - The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
The successful candidate will be remote-based, there will be a requirement for occasional travel within the UK and to our Headquarters in Sandy, Bedfordshire.
We are looking for a high performing Product Development Manager to join the RSPB Commercial team, to manage the product sourcing for our gift categories. This is a great opportunity to work for the largest wildlife conservation organisation in Europe where you can be a part of our work to care for the environment and save nature.
About the role:
This is a fixed 12 month Maternity cover role, working in our Product, Licensing and Trade team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering commercially successful gift product ranges, which help to meet the financial and strategic objectives of the trading business and wider RSPB priorities and campaigns.
This role will support the Senior Product Development Manager in developing the gift strategy to meet the needs of our retail sales channels and ambitious income targets. Spotting new opportunities and working closely with new and existing suppliers and partners, will be key to delivering products at the right cost, the right quality and in line with the seasonal critical path.
We have a new strategy with ambitious targets, so this is an exciting time to join our fast-paced team and continue to contribute towards the fight to save nature.
What we will need from you:

Your role

The next day you might be recruiting and training our wonderful volunteers. Every day there will be a different challenge that you’ll find extremely rewarding. Citizens UK and the NRPF Partnership
Citizens UK
We are Citizens UK. We’re working together to make change on the issues that matter, from campaigning for zebra crossings on dangerous roads, to reforming the immigration system, to the Living Wage campaign.

NRPF Partnership
The NRPF partnership was set up in 2023 and is being developed by Citizens UK, Migration Exchange, and Praxis. We are working to build the necessary infrastructure for collaboration across a range of organisations, amplify their work, and build power to win change against the No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) condition. Each partner contributes staff capacity and will work closely with the appointed person to ensure a positive, professional and supportive culture. The Partnership centres around:
1) Placing decision-making power and strategic vision in the hands of people doing the work
(frontline staff and people with lived experience), via a steering group and working groups.
2) Establishing a strategic pooled fund so that the steering group has sufficient budget to guide the collaboration, act, identify and seize political opportunities, and facilitate active participation of everyone involved.
3) Expanding the movement and building power, using incremental wins to build towards broader change towards the goal of ending NRPF.
The Person and the Role
100,000s people in our communities have put down roots in the UK but are denied access to the welfare safety net (No Recourse to Public Funds).
Citizens UK has worked with Migration Exchange and Praxis to raise over £2m to develop a 5 year partnership to enable the movement to end NRPF.
This Senior Project role will be a core part of the support to the steering group of the partnership to make sure it runs effectively and achieves its potential.

Project managing all partnership implementation logistics and follow-up – managing meeting logistics from planning to scheduling to outreach to follow-up to ensure seamless participation of Steering Group and Working Group members and ensure that planned activities take place effectively in support of the goals and values of the Partnership
The role will be reporting to Assistant Director, Migrant and Refugee Organising.
Main Responsibilities
Reporting directly to X with oversight from the NRPF Partnership CBG, the post holder will be expected to manage their own independent workload, as well as support the broader CBG. The main responsibilities are outlined below:
Working with the NRPF Partnership’s key stakeholders

Developing and maintaining relationships with Partnership stakeholders

Working with the CBG to update outreach strategy as new needs emerge

Building and maintaining trust and relationships across the whole Partnership and more widely (within and across sectors from migration to anti-poverty to children’s rights, etc.)

Supporting with the facilitation of Working Group meetings

Develop and implement ideas for action that are consistent with the goals of the project
Strategic coherence

Supporting the coordination of activities with partners to align strategies and actions and minimise duplication

Working with the CBG to coordinate with other related projects and coalitions to maintain a full understanding of the current landscape of local and regional activities

Maintaining understanding of current implementation challenges and developing comprehensive solutions to address them in dialogue with partners

Developing, maintaining, and monitoring political opportunities to support Working Groups to develop and execute on their action plans

In partnership with the CBG and steering group, providing support to partner organisations to coordinate and collaborate on joint initiatives

Coordinating advocacy activities across stakeholders that support the wider aims of the Partnership

Supporting the independent learning partner to deliver evaluation and learning activities
Communications

Organising appropriate outreach and communications efforts across the Partnership (e.g. publishing a regular newsletter, email updates, insights from learning and evaluation etc.)

Ensuring effective internal communication with CUK organisers, leaders, and partners involved with the NRPF Partnership and with funders

Facilitating on-going communication across the NRPF Partnership to ensure alignment of activity

Supporting the development of any communications materials such as summary documents, brochures, FAQs, social media content, etc.
Build leadership development offer for the Partnership

Working alongside CBG and the CUK Migration team, refine community organising and leadership development support for all members of the NRPF partnership especially those with lived experience of NRPF

Ensuring that everyone in the group can contribute to the best of their ability by managing a training and external facilitation budget to build skills, confidence and trust
Fundraising and reporting

Working with the CBG to develop and support fundraising bids and support reporting requirements and funder relationships

Contributing to the budgeting process and the effective management of financial resources in the project working closely with Global Dialogue who will hold pooled funds on behalf of the partnership
Managing meeting/event logistics

Planning and managing the logistics of all Partnership meetings and gatherings of the Steering Group, working groups and CBG (e.g., dial-in, attendance, cancellations, etc.)

Consolidating Working Group updates for Steering Group, including summarising meeting notes and highlighting key outputs and decisions so they can be easily shared with others across the Partnership

The Senior Income & Engagement Officer (Individuals) leads War on Want’s activities acquire, retain, and develop individual supporters using a range of channels both on and offline. The right candidate will be a seasoned campaign manager with experience across a range of channels like direct mail, email, and telemarketing. Their creative flair and understanding of what mobilises individual giving audiences will help them to develop compelling propositions for support. Their strategic mindset and data literacy will ensure they spot performance trends and optimise their campaigns over time.
As individual giving lead, the Senior Income & Engagement Officer will join War on Want at a very exciting time. We have recently launched a new supporter mobilisation strategy to bring transformative growth to our supporter base, both increasing participation with War on Want campaigns, and increasing the number of active War on Want members who support our work with regular monthly donations.
This position would suit an experienced fundraiser who’s looking to take ownership of an individual giving strategy. In doing so, they will oversee a significant proportion of War on Want’s income and engagement Programme and make a valued contribution in the fight against global poverty.

Job Purpose & Background:
CDP’s development team is ambitious, dynamic and at the heart of everything CDP does. As a Senior Manager, Philanthropy, you will focus on developing and managing strategic, high-value relationships with Trusts and Foundations. The Senior Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing a global fundraising strategy at a key time of organizational growth. Reporting directly to CDPs Head of Philanthropy, you are an independent thinker who can help grow and sustain grant funding from Trusts and Foundations.
You are the kind of person who gets out from behind your desk to meet people, influence and achieve long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. You’ll need to be determined, tenacious and focused on results.
Who you are
- Must reside and be eligible to work in the locations stipulated above.
- You have a proven ability to build and manage philanthropic donor income streams, maximising the value of existing and prospective supporters.
- You have a proven track record of relationship building to secure grants at seven figure and above level.
- You have 5 or more years of fundraising experience, preferably with Foundations or High Net-Worth Individuals.
- You are able to understand diverse donor motivations and deliver a bespoke relationship to meet these and have demonstrable skill in adapting written and verbal communications for a philanthropy audience.
- You have excellent face to face, interpersonal, negotiating and persuasive skills.
- You are an effective communicator.
- You are confident working with senior stakeholders internally and externally, using tact and diplomacy.
- You have extensive experience of bespoke proposal and report writing for a philanthropy audience.
- You have excellent attention to detail, ability to analyse and prepare budgets. You are organised and methodical approach to plan and deliver against a varied workload, managing competing priorities under your own initiative and to strict deadlines.

Your day-to-day
You will support the execution of CDPs philanthropic fundraising strategy.
You will manage a portfolio of strategic, high-value donors, building strong relationships and implementing creative solicitation plans to maximise donor engagement and income.
You will research, develop and secure funding from new donors, with a strong focus on funders with a potential to give 7-8 figure grants.
You will develop an excellent knowledge of CDP’s work, liaise with colleagues to prepare and present high-quality information such as tailored presentations and proposals for the donor.
You will build excellent external working relationships at all levels with donors, their staff and networks in order to directly influence their decisions.
You will build excellent internal working relationships to engage staff at all levels in supporting donor stewardship to manage prospective and existing donors effectively.
