Your Role in Our Vision
Are you a natural storyteller with a strategic mind and a passion for purpose? At Marie Curie, we're looking for someone who can turn powerful insights into compelling cases for support that inspire our highest-value donors and drive meaningful change.
In this dynamic role, you'll be the go-to expert for cause-led content - crafting impactful narratives, uncovering funding opportunities, and arming our fundraising teams with the information they need to build confident, donor-focused propositions. You'll collaborate with local and national teams, translate complex service and policy insights into engaging messaging, and help shape the voice of our most important campaigns.
What you'll do
- Develop persuasive, donor-focused content for fundraising bids and campaigns
- Deliver clear, accurate, and inspiring service and impact information
- Develop case for support narratives (local or national) about key areas of service delivery, Policy or Research as required, articulating the need, solution and impact in a clear, compelling and accurate donor focused narrative, recognising and responding appropriately to the needs of different audiences, including the specific requirements of high value audiences.
- Identify restricted funding opportunities and support high-value donor engagement
- Be a strategic partner across income streams, helping bring our mission to life
- Build strong relationships across departments, from policy to palliative care delivery

What you will need
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled at building relationships and working with a range of stakeholders
- Strong influencing and motivational abilities
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities
- Skilled in prioritising tasks effectively
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a remote team
- Proficiency in IT tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and charity databases
- Experience with virtual meeting platforms
- Confident public speaking and presentation skills
