The role of the Senior Organiser (Activation) is to work to design and develop our Distributed Volunteer Programmes, that can mobilise thousands into taking action, and building their capacity as volunteers and organisers.

This role includes a focus on ‘Activation’, and ensuring we are not only running great programmes, but being laser efficient at driving people into them.

Location: Islington, London. Our hybrid working model enables us to enjoy the benefits of both office based and remote working. We ask that staff work from the office in Islington 40% of their time, with 20% required as a minimum. What we're looking for:

• Significant experience designing and leading impactful organising campaigns and/or programmes that have moved people to action and built longer term people power

• Proven ability to implement best practice organising techniques and structures to build the leadership and capacity of volunteers, locally and at scale

• Proven ability to use data-informed interventions to maximise programme efficiency and ‘activate people’ based on goals, outcomes, pinch points and needs

• Experience setting goals and reporting systems, and monitoring and reporting on results

• Ability to manage a team, working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - able to hold multiple projects and strategic vision

About the role 

We are currently at the beginning of an exciting and ambitious program to transform our organisations Digital, Data and Technology - becoming a trusted partner for colleagues in the organisation. 

In the last year we have implemented a new CRM platform based on Salesforce and Azure platforms while continuing to adapt to modern ways of working post pandemic that have changed how our physical locations are best utilised.

As Senior Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in maintaining and supporting our current physical network hardware and solutions while we look to adopt a cloud first approach moving away from our current dependency on physical locations and legacy services. 

You'll work closely with the wider technology team on the development of our office infrastructure as we look to expand our current use of Meraki solutions to support us in providing office services to several charity partners alongside Save the Children UK.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for: 

• Monitoring our office and server platforms network connectivity to ensure availability, uptime, and responsive systems for the organisation using tools such as WhatsUpGold and Meraki portals and Azure monitor
• Maintaining our server platforms network connectivity, whether on premises, in private cloud or public cloud
• Maintaining and developing our physical office locations connectivity for end users and tenants alongside our Facilities team
• Working with our partners to maintain our WAN and cloud connectivity
• Helping implement solutions that are secure and follow Zero trust principles
• Maintaining current technologies such as Fortigate firewalls
• Implementing new technologies such as Zscaler and Azure Firewall
• Providing connectivity solutions that meet business requirements
• Documenting current and future solutions to ensure accountability and to promote Team and Organisation understanding of technologies.

About you

You'll have a track record of delivering solutions/platforms that empower organisations and understand how networks and connectivity provide the backbone of solutions and how critical infrastructure is to delivering business services.

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• Significant experience in a hands-on role delivering enterprise class networking – switching, routing and Wifi
• Demonstrated experience working as a Senior / established Network Support Engineer supporting department colleagues and business users in a large-scale organisation
• Ability to Troubleshoot a variety of Technologies both independently and with third parties
• Enterprise Switching and Routing expertise
• Firewall management experience – Fortigate or equivalent Next Generation Firewalls
• Experience implementing and supporting virtual private network solutions
• CCNP equivalent level experience.

KEY CRITERIA

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role with similar responsibilities, this includes a track record of securing new bids and/or retaining existing contracts
• Previous experience in bid/proposal writing, reviewing, and editing
• IT Proficiency, ability to learn new software programs, experience in Microsoft, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability and willingness to travel and attend market engagement events and to visit services to gain greater understanding of what SIG offers and to inform teams of relevant tender responses
• Ability to create and write engaging content, with proofreading skills
• Proven ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities within a fast-paced environment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Philanthropy 

• Lead, develop and implement a Business Growth strategic plan that brings a mix of 
  sustainable income derived from individual giving, trusts and foundations and corporate 
  sponsorships
• Work with the Director to develop strategic revenue generation opportunities across the 
  business and key ICA stakeholders
• Lead a Fundraising team to research prospective donors and supporters and build a 
  pipeline of donor acquisition, including bespoke donor packages

• Maintain an overview of trends and developments in fundraising and business growth 
  across the artistic and cultural sector

• Maintain and develop ICA’s brand in international, national and local markets, ensuring
  ICA’s identity is maintained across all communications channels
• Oversee the ICA platforms including its website, socials, media and the overall user

• Develop and deliver a coherent marketing and communications strategy that promotes
  ICA, and enables the institution to meet its income targets

• Reporting to the Director and Board of Trustees on the strategy and delivery of the ICA’s 
  business growth with the ability to flex and respond effectively when variances arise

Team Management

• Play an active and highly collaborative role as a full member of both the Executive 
  Leadership Team and Senior Leadership Team
• Line Manage roles of Senior Development Manager, Development Manager, Audience 
  and Marketing Manager, Membership Manager, Editions Coordinator, Ticketing & 
  Membership manager, ensuring person specific objectives are set in line with the ICA’s

What does the role involve?

· Managing the relationship with our website development agency. Making recommendations for areas of improvement and further development.

· Managing our analytics and other insight platforms to ensure that we collect robust data and can make informed, evidence-based recommendations to ensure we’re using digital to deliver against the Foundation’s strategic objectives.

· Support and develop the implementation of an SEO strategy for our website content to ensure that our audiences can find our content.

What skills, knowledge and experience are we looking for?

· Ability to interpret complex requirements and user needs and make recommendations of implementable solutions.

· Knowledge of the fundamental of Agile and Scrum

Senior Communications Officer

The Clean Air Fund is looking to recruit a Senior Communications Officer to join their Strategic Partnerships and Communications team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation whose mission is to use philanthropic grants to catalyse a reduction in air pollution.   

As a Senior Communications Officer with Clean Air Fund you would help to support the Clean Air Fund’s communications and engagement with our key audiences of governments, funders, businesses, researchers, civil society organisations and campaigners. Content at Unifrog

Whether we are communicating through images, video or text, we always try to be straightforward, honest, and to show respect for the people with whom we are communicating. 

Clear communication is particularly important for us because our mission is to level the playing field when it comes to access to opportunities, and a big part of this effort is fair and straightforward access to information. It’s also important for us to be fun, while not talking down to young people. 

Over the last few years, with only a small and mostly non-specialist team, we have created hundreds of videos aimed at students and teachers. We now have an exciting slate of new video projects that we want to produce. We want to use video: 

• To develop some of the most popular parts of the Unifrog platform, currently used by hundreds of thousands of young people every week to explore different careers, different subjects at university, and topics that matter to them like Climate Change and Wellbeing.

• To help us create brand new tools within the platform, expanding what Unifrog offers to young people, and how we interact with external partners like employers and universities.

What you’ll lead on

As an Assistant Video Editor, your role will be to edit new videos for students aged 11-18. You will also help to keep our existing content up to date and in line with our high standards. Unifrog publishes videos and written content on a variety of topics for students including: applying for university in the UK and overseas, preparing for college or work, and taking care of your wellbeing.

Your key responsibilities:

• Video editing

  • Edit and polish videos for various sections on our platform, including University Profiles, Employer Profiles, and Careers Library Profiles, with a keen eye for detail and quality.

  • Work within assigned deadlines to ensure timely delivery of videos.

  • Mix and equalise interview audio with soundtracks to create a seamless viewing experience for our users.

  • Implement pre-existing video templates and consistently improve them over time to ensure visual consistency across all platform sections.

  • Edit webinars and internal videos to meet platform requirements and user expectations.

• Communication

  • Maintain effective communication with the Video Team, including project managers, producers, and other stakeholders, to ensure that video projects meet the required standards and are delivered on time.

  • Proactively suggest creative and innovative ideas to improve the quality of our videos and enhance the viewing experience for students.

• Quality Control

  • Perform quality checks on all videos before they are published to the platform, ensuring that they meet the required standards for visual and audio quality, accuracy, and completeness.

  • Monitor subtitles generated by in-house subtitling software and performing a complete quality-check before making the video live on the platform

Working together

You’ll be managed by our Post Production Manager, and work closely with an in-house Video Producer/Director and Video Editor. You will also work with our partner-facing teams, as well as with external bodies where necessary.

The Video Team is part of a wider Content Team, where we often brainstorm new ideas as a group, provide feedback on each other’s work, and get feedback from teachers and students at our partner schools. We promote good ideas regardless of where they come from.

  • You need to be highly proficient at using Adobe Premiere to edit your projects as well as a basic understanding of After Effects.

  • Basic understanding of audio editing software to sound-mix and equalise interviews with soundtracks.

About the role

Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player? 

We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. If you are seeking a dynamic and engaging fundraising role which offers you the chance to play a pivotal role within a small but ambitious organisation, then this could be the job for you.

You will be an exemplary relationship builder and have experience in developing multi-faceted corporate partnerships (ideally with experience and success in employee engagement, corporate sponsorship, and/or operational partnerships).

The role also line manages the Senior Fundraising Officer post, a position that provides administrative and fundraising support across the whole fundraising team.  Please note that we are a small team and so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to help out team members and to support new business across other restricted income streams.

About the role

The St Pancras Community Association (SPCA) is a charity delivering high quality services for Camden residents, especially the lively and diverse community of the St Pancras and Somers Town ward. As the Director of SPCA you will lead and guide a highly skilled and motivated team to make the SPCA a community hub and a centre of excellence which has a positive impact on the lives of local residents.

The governance of SPCA is overseen by a Board of Trustees. The Director will report directly to this Board and work closely with Board members.

The Eve Appeal, working together with the Department of Health and Social Care, is delivering a groundbreaking programme on gynaecological health to small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in London and beyond.

We are entering the final year of the programme and pivotal to its success will be bringing new SMEs on board so that we can deliver our health information to their staff. Up until March 31st 2025 there is no charge for SMEs to join the programme.

As Sales & Marketing Executive you will lead on researching and approaching new SMEs to joint the programme, complete all necessary contracts, lead on overall project management and co-ordination of the program, liaise with our external evaluators on monitoring and evaluation and other administrative tasks as directed.

This role will also line manage the Programme Leads – our staff who visit SMEs and deliver our health information talks.

No formal qualifications are needed for this role, nor is previous charity sector experience. What is important are the skills, experiences and potential you bring.
