This role provides a great opportunity to set up and manage an exciting new audit programme using innovative methodologies to support services for people with an eating disorder.
Within the College Centre for Quality Improvement, we run an exciting programme of NHS-funded national clinical audits, including the National Audit of Eating Disorders, which will provide important data to drive forward improvements in care for people with an eating disorder. We are seeking dynamic and proactive person for the Programme Manager role.
The successful candidate will have experience in project management and quality improvement in healthcare and/or clinical audit and will have a keen interest in data analytics. They will show attention to detail and have excellent organisational skills. Responsibilities will include managing a complex programme of work, liaising with funders and expert advisers, supervising the project team, developing and delivering of project plans, and managing all aspects of the project, e.g. developing data collection tools and collecting and analysing data.
This role is fully funded for three years.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake a DBS check.

The Programme Officer will be based within the Postgraduate Studies team in our Education and Training Division. With a growing programme portfolio and increasing number of students, the post-holder will provide administrative support for the delivery of postgraduate programmes at Anna Freud.
Working under direction and daily supervision from their line manager, and alongside the direction of the relevant Programme Directors, the post-holder will work as part of a wider team of Programme Officers. The most substantive element of the post will entail providing programme administration support. This will include supporting the delivery of key elements of the student life cycle to provide a high-quality service to prospective and current students as well as programme staff. In addition to providing specialist support to enhance the student experience, the post-holder will contribute to a range of other activities to support the delivery of Postgraduate Studies.
The Programme Officer is a pivotal role in Postgraduate Studies team. The post-holder must be a team player that is efficient, organized and flexible as they will be joining a fast-paced and growing team.

About the role:
We would love to hear from anyone with experience and enthusiasm for training and working in mental health. The Training Officer role is pivotal for the recruitment and training of all our volunteers, who go on to support people affected by mental illness on our helpline or text services.
You will be part of the training delivery team that recruits and trains new volunteers for our out of hours mental health specialist helpline. You will provide support to the Training Manager by responding to volunteer emails and communications, preparing and updating the training material as required and taking active part in recruitment and development of SANE volunteers in line with agreed targets. You will ensure clear and timely information sharing and handover to colleagues and work closely with the service team to maintain high-quality service to our callers.
The role of Training Officer requires an open minded attitude, strong communication skills and ability to provide feedback to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Starting Salary: £16,200 pro rata, 22.5 hours (FTE £27,000 per annum)

- You have experience of delivering training to diverse groups
- Ideally, you have some experience of working in mental health field

As a local mental health charity Buckinghamshire Mind has been working for 110 years to stand up for better mental health in Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire. We are an independent charity, proud to be affiliated with national Mind and play our part in the Mind federation.

The newly created post of Head of Income Generation & Communications will be an integral part of the Senior Management Team, managing the development and strategic direction of our charity as agreed with the Board of Trustees.
You will create an income generation strategy and be responsible for its implementation, using your creativity and resourcefulness to maximise development opportunities. Our current sources of funding are grants, foundations, community fundraising, individual giving and corporates.
In addition, you will oversee all elements of the organisation’s communications strategy to ensure the charity provides good quality information to help people access local mental health services as well as generating income from marketing campaigns.

We are looking for a new Advocate to join our team in Ayrshire. We are seeking applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn and a desire to help those in need of support or already have a Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy.

About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Advocate to join our team covering Ayrshire You will be involved in one-to-one advocacy along with group work across the area; this could be in a clients’ home or other suitable community venue and be home based for telephone referrals and administrative tasks. Therefore, access to your own transportation and a suitable home internet connection is essential.
This is a full time role for 35 hours per week, applicants who do not hold the Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy will start on £22,500 per annum.
About you
We actively encourage applications from those who are long term unemployed.
Desirably you will have some experience of working, providing welfare, supporting, or caring for Adults or young people who have support needs, ideally for those with a variety of communication needs, mental ill health, physical health issues, or barriers to accessing education, training, benefits, employment, care and support.
You should have worked or volunteered in health, social care, welfare, support services, education or young person’s services, or advice and guidance.
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible for ensuring the individual’s wishes, feelings, beliefs, needs, and values are met to create positive outcomes for the people you support.
You will support people to speak up for themselves and grow in confidence, equip them to understand and exercise their rights and options.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with the individuals you support. You’ll be creative in your approach to empower our clients by ensuring you meaningfully explain people’s options and rights to them. You’ll support individuals to fully participate in decisions affecting them and will make sure they have their voices heard. This can be through 1-2-1 advocacy or in a group setting.
