Legacy Marketing Assistant

Do you have a keen eye for detail and enjoy providing thoughtful support through meaningful communication?

We're looking for a Legacy Marketing Assistant to join our Legacy team. This varied role offers the chance to build a career in legacy or in-memory fundraising, supporter care, or administration.

As Legacy Marketing Assistant, you'll support multi-channel campaigns and events, while providing thoughtful and timely stewardship to some of our committed supporters. To thrive in this role, you'll be organised, empathetic, and confident working with sensitive information and correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver excellent supporter care by monitoring inboxes and responding to enquiries promptly and sensitively
  • Accurately set up new records and log all inbound and outbound correspondence
  • Prepare and send welcome packs to Tribute Fund supporters, respecting communication preferences
  • Write and send personalised thank you letters to supporters, solicitors and executors to acknowledge donations received from a range of sources including legacies and in-memory donations
  • Provide tailored stewardship through sympathy cards, special acknowledgements, and monthly e-newsletters
  • Support the team with the planning and delivery of legacy events, including managing responses and on-the-day coordination
  • Help manage replies to legacy marketing activity such as Free Wills services and direct marketing campaigns
  • Build effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external partners

About You:

  • Excellent attention to detail with experience in accurate data capture
  • Experience using databases, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Clear and sensitive communicator, both in writing and in person
  • Skilled and confident at handling high volumes of personalised correspondence
  • Strong relationship-building skills across internal teams and external contacts
  • Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively to support others
