We support families across a large geographical area, including South Yorkshire, North Nottinghamshire, North Derbyshire and parts of North Lincolnshire. The hospice is easily accessible from Barnsley, Rotherham, Doncaster, Sheffield and North Notts, making our reach truly regional and inclusive.

Every year, we must raise £6.7 million to keep our doors open, and only 17% comes from government sources. The rest is powered by the generosity and commitment of supporters like you. Your leadership in corporate fundraising will help secure vital resources, build strategic partnerships, and create a sustainable future for our hospice.

The role:

To lead and grow Bluebell Wood’s corporate fundraising income by identifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with corporate partners and philanthropic major donors. This role will play a key part in building a robust pipeline of corporate supporters, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing to the long-term sustainability of the hospice’s income. The post-holder will also be a visible ambassador within the regional community, building strong local connections and supporting wider fundraising initiatives.

What You Will Do

Corporate Fundraising & Relationship Development

· Proactively identify and research potential corporate supporters across sectors.

· Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate prospects, ensuring regular communication and relationship nurturing.

· Deliver compelling pitches and proposals that align with corporate CSR objectives and the impactful work of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.

Regional Engagement

· Become the recognised face of fundraising within the catchment area, championing the work of Bluebell Wood.

· Represent the hospice at presentations, talks, and networking events to raise awareness and promote fundraising opportunities.

Strategic Planning & Collaboration

· Work with the Fundraising Development Manager to identify and engage philanthropic individuals within corporate networks.

· Support the development of bespoke stewardship plans for major donors linked to corporate partnerships.

· Support regional events in collaboration with the Events Fundraiser, contributing to their success both locally and across other areas.

Income Generation & Promotion

· Promote all areas of fundraising including In Memory, Lottery, Events, and Individual Giving to relevant audiences.

· Contribute innovative and creative ideas for income generation that help Bluebell Wood stand out.

· Adapt approaches to support donors on their journey with Bluebell Wood, fostering connection and enthusiasm.

Data Management & Compliance

· Ensure all donor interactions are accurately recorded in the CRM system and that all supporters are thanked promptly and appropriately.

· Drive corporate income through data driven insights that align to the strategic Income Generation direction.

· Apply guidance from the Fundraising Regulator and Institute of Fundraising to all fundraising activity.

What You’ll Bring

· Strategic thinker with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively.

· Proven track record of income generation with a creative and innovative approach.

· Proven experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or relationship management.

· Demonstrable success in securing and managing corporate partnerships.

· Experience of working within financial budgets and KPIs

· Knowledge of fundraising regulations, GDPR, and best practice guidelines.

· Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams, plus Zoom Conferencing (to intermediate level)

· Prepared to work evenings and weekends and some unsociable hours

• Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
• Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.

This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region. 

There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together. 

There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

Introduction

We are looking for an exceptional fundraising Programme Manager to join and lead our Caribbean UK Overseas Territories (UKOTs) team. Based in the region the Caribbean UKOTs Programme Manager will work closely with regional management teams and our excellent external partners to develop and oversee a pipeline of high impact conservation projects across the Caribbean UKOTs.

What's the role about?

In a time of constrained funding the primary responsibilities for this role include a significant focus on helping to identify and develop fundraising opportunities, supporting our various partners to build their own organisational fundraising capacity, and working to secure financing to deliver against a range of national and regional environmental priorities.

The Programme Manager will in addition lead and oversee several Caribbean-based RSPB project managers to ensure successful delivery of projects within the region and ensure that these contribute to impactful outcomes for species and habitats and delivery of the Strategic Outcomes of both the RSPB and our partners.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Knowledge of Caribbean conservation issues, species and habitats.

Additional Information:

• This is a Permanent role for 37.5 hours per week.
• The role is Caribbean based and only open to those with existing rights to live and work in the region. The position is home based with frequent travel to support partners across the Caribbean UKOTs.

About the role

The Operations Officer (Licensing and Compliance) will support the Senior Licensing and Compliance Manager and other members of the Operations Team to ensure that, through the consistent and proactive use of standards, policies and quality assurance processes, backed up by effective licensing, the intellectual property and good reputation of the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is effectively protected.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing, in liaison with relevant Operations Team colleagues, new licence applications from Independent Award Centres (IACs), including due diligence and database management.
• Lead on the management of the IAC Compliance Check schedule and surrounding processes including regular communications with relevant Operations Managers.
• Coordinate the ongoing compliance management process for IACs.
• Provide support to the Senior Licensing & Compliance Manager with processes related to the compliance for National Award Operators (NAOs) and Operating Partners (OPs).
