About the role
As Major Gifts Manager, you'll join the charities growing philanthropy team working on a portfolio of £5-100k+ gifts where you'll steward Major Donors in Scotland and work on building a new pipeline of high networth individuals. With a warm pool of prospects, and exciting and varied programmes to talk to them about, you'll be part of a vibrant and supportive culture where people are encouraged to try new things and get creative. About you
You've got a proven track record of making the ask at the five/six figure mark. You create inspiring and emotive proposals, tailored to the individual with a focus on outcomes and impact. You thrive in a homeworking environment, managing your time well and organising a pipeline of work independently. Whilst previous philanthropy experience would come in handy, we are open to applications from fundraisers with transferable skills and experience in other income streams but you must be able to demonstrate you understand the theory of how Philanthropy works. The Role

Morgan Hunt is currently working with a large Housing Association to recruit a Tenancy Services Officer / Housing Officer for a temporary period of approximately 3 months with the potential for extension. The patch will cover approximately 500 properties in the Cheshire West area (Ellesmere Port, Blacon, and Merseyside) with the expectation of being visible across the patch for at least 50% of the working week.
The role
As a Tenancy Services Officer / Housing Officer you will;
- Identify support needs and deliver person-centred actions, either directly or through partner agencies, along with information, advice and guidance.

- Take ownership for customer queries through to a successful resolution and ensure lessons learnt are built into future service delivery.

About the Role
Working within a small fundraising team, the Partnerships and Event Fundraiser will make a significant contribution to securing a legacy for thousands of local young people through the generation of new income. As Partnerships and Event Fundraiser, you'll be working across a number of projects and events to engage with businesses about creative ways in which they can support the Hive Youth Zone.
The Community programme will encourage the local community to fundraise for the Hive through approaching schools, groups, and associations, and recruiting participants for events. The SME Corporate Partnerships programme will encourage businesses to donate up to £1000 through initiatives such as Charity of the Year applications, staff fundraising initiatives, and recruiting support from smaller local businesses. You will also support and inspire existing corporate partners as part of your role.
About You
This role is a perfect opportunity for a fundraiser, with a proven track record of securing funds via community and corporate fundraising, to set up a new Community programme at the Hive. We are also very much open to candidates from a sales, marketing, and account management background, as well as candidates with events and projects experience. To be successful in this role, you will have experience meeting financial targets, and managing a pipeline of potential supporters/donors/clients.
You'll be a strong networker and relationship builder, with the ability to communicate effectively, understanding what drives donors. You'll be results-driven, ambitious, with creative thinking and a strong sense of teamwork. Most importantly, you will believe in the power of excellent youth work.

Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in client relationship management. You will have a proven track record of successfully building and maintaining relationships with clients, donors and stakeholders and achieving fundraising goals. You will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written with the ability to articulate the organisation’s mission and impact effectively. You will have a clear understanding of fundraising and marketing and have good knowledge of CRM software e.g., Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge for donor management and reporting. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders is also essential for this role. You will be highly organised with a proactive personality and be able to demonstrate a passion for the work of the charity.

As Philanthropy Manager, you will take over a researched and qualified list of prospects with potential to give between £5k and £20k as well as some existing givers. This is a great role for someone looking to feel inspired and who wants to work within a small, determined team.

- Experience in fundraising, ideally high-value but happy to consider candidates with other income stream experience

This is a homebased role, working regionally in Eastern Scotland

The Role
Assist with developing, implementing & monitoring the regional fundraising plan & budgets.
Research & identify opportunities for working with local companies and secure an agreed number of partnerships.
Develop a pipeline of new fundraising prospects.
Recruit, manage and develop fundraising support groups to deliver a planned and secure income stream.
The Candidate
Proven record of successful income generation from either the voluntary sector or demonstrate transferable skills from the commercial sector.
Previous experience of identifying, establishing and retaining new fundraising partners, supporters and fundraising groups/committees
Experience writing successful proposals and bids.
Experience training and developing volunteers.
