North London Hospice has been caring for local people since 1984, providing specialist palliative and end-of-life care to people with life-limiting illnesses across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, and increasingly within Camden and Islington. Our services are completely free of charge however it now costs more than £16m a year to run our charity. We rely on the generosity of our community through donations and our shops to make up the shortfall in funding.
We're looking for a motivated and ambitious Corporate Partnerships Senior Officer to join our Fundraising Team and support the growth of an exciting and developing area of income generation.
Working alongside our Corporate Partnerships Manager, you'll help build and strengthen relationships with businesses across North London and beyond, helping to secure sustainable income that makes a real difference to the patients and families we support.
The Role
This is a newly created role within a growing team and offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys relationship management, business development and creating engaging supporter experiences.
You'll play a key role in growing our portfolio of corporate supporters, identifying new opportunities, supporting partnership pitches, and ensuring our existing partners feel valued, engaged and inspired to continue supporting the hospice.

Key Responsibilities
· Manage a portfolio of corporate partnerships, ensuring an outstanding supporter experience and long-term engagement.
· Support the Corporate Partnerships Manager to identify and secure new business opportunities.
· Research prospective corporate partners and sectors.
· Help prepare compelling partnership proposals, pitches and cases for support.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective supporters.
· Work with colleagues across the Hospice to develop attractive products and opportunities for corporate supporters.
· Match potential supporters with projects and initiatives that align with their interests and objectives.
· Monitor developments and innovations across the fundraising sector and identify opportunities for implementation.
· Support the development and monitoring of budgets, income targets and KPIs.
· Ensure all activities comply with fundraising regulations, GDPR and Hospice policies.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, communications, retail, clinical services and other departments.
About you
We're looking for a confident, enthusiastic and relationship-focused individual who enjoys connecting with people and identifying opportunities.
You will have:
· Experience managing or supporting partnerships, customer relationships or client accounts.
· Experience delivering excellent supporter, customer or stakeholder journeys.
· Experience supporting business development activities, bids, pitches or partnership proposals.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
· Confidence in building relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
· The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
· Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
· A positive, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
· Confidence in making introductions and approaching prospective supporters.
Desirable:
· Experience of making cold approaches to prospective customers or supporters.
· Experience developing new products, campaigns or supporter initiatives.
· Experience managing budgets or performance indicators.
· Knowledge of fundraising regulations and GDPR.
· Experience within the charity, healthcare or social care sectors.
· Knowledge of the North London business community.
· Understanding of the hospice sector.
