We’re IPWSO, the international umbrella body for Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) associations around the world.
- We build communities between people with Prader-Willi syndrome, their families and the professionals who support them to share knowledge and expertise and improve outcomes for people with Prader-Willi syndrome and their families everywhere.

Key Fundraising Responsibilities
- Develop communications content that will invigorate our existing donors and inspire new ones leading to increased giving by individuals to IPWSO.
- Focusing in particular on our website and social media channels, communicate our achievements, impacts and needs with a view to influencing IPWSO’s online supporters to make donations and engage in fundraising initiatives.
- Provide outstanding donor care to encourage a high level of retention and repeat donations.

About the charity: Cavernomas look like raspberries and are found in the brain and spinal cord. They're formed of abnormal blood vessels with thin leaky walls, which can bleed at any age without warning. 1 in 625 people are thought to have a cavernoma, and whilst most people won't experience symptoms 1 in 2,700 do. Symptoms can include haemorrhages, seizures and other neurological problems. Treatment involves 'wait and see', neurosurgery or stereotactic radiosurgery; with no medications currently available.

Since the charity was founded in 2005 it has grown from a volunteer-led organisation based in Dorchester to a UK wide registered charity that now has 2 part-time permanent staff, looking to increase to 4 Part-time staff (all home-based), 50+ volunteers, and 4,000+ members. About the roles: The Member Support Assistant is responsible for assisting our Volunteer Manager with administration relating to the support of the charity’s 4,000 members and volunteers. This includes offering a professional service to members of CAUK, typically via phone, email, online, chat, or on occasion in person. The role involves supporting the membership and volunteering processes, ensuring all admin is accurate and up to date. Over time the post-holder will be expected to build a good working knowledge of members and volunteers. The Events and Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Charity Manager with the administration of events alongside some general office activities for the charity. We’re looking for an organised, enthusiastic Fundraising Administrator to support our Public Fundraising Team to deliver some ambitious targets.

Our moderation takes place between 9 am and 9 pm, Monday-Sunday.

As you gain experience, you will be allocated multiple accounts which will enable you to increase your hours worked.

Your role
We are seeking a Senior Fundraising Leader to secure funding from diverse sources to support our program and initiatives. The ideal candidate has senior-level fundraising experience at an NGO, organisation, or charity, a strong and established network of executive relationships in major foundations, and a proven track record of identifying and closing deals in the range of 1-5 million USD. The fundraising leader will develop relationships with potential donors, identify fundraising opportunities, and manage the grant application process.

The Fundraising Lead will play a critical role in supporting our ‘sustainability' strategic priority to ensure Cycle Sisters can access the resources it needs to keep making a difference. Rainforest Trust UK (RTUK) is set up as a separate charity to tax-efficiently raise funds from donors here in the UK for Rainforest Trust’s conservation projects. We are currently a team of seven people, but we are affiliated to, and supported by, the Rainforest Trust team in the U.S., which has a team of about 40 staff. In 2023 the global charity raised $46 million for conservation projects in Africa, Asia-Pacific, and Latin America, with the UK charity contributing £2.2 million of this.
We currently work remotely, meeting up 2 days per month in London to work alongside each other in a shared office, or to run events for our supporters.
Key Responsibilities (see attached job description for full list)
- Deal promptly with donations received on a daily basis, following our processes to ensure supporters are appropriately thanked.
- Respond to day-to-day enquiries from Rainforest Trust UK supporters via phone, email and post.
- Support the Fundraising Manager in sending communications to the donor base, utilising content from Rainforest Trust Global, checking for accuracy and ensuring all communications adhere to Rainforest Trust’s brand guidelines.
- Lead on the daily management of Rainforest Trust UK’s social media channels, including scheduling posts and responding to comments/messages.

Dravet Syndrome UK (DSUK) is a small independent UK charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by Dravet Syndrome. Dravet Syndrome is a rare neurological condition that affects around one in every 15,000 people in the UK. Responsibilities and Accountabilities
This position will focus on sourcing and developing potential national and international funders who provide single and multi-year grants in excess of £10,000 including those who do not accept unsolicited grants.
Duties include:
- Develop and manage opportunity pipelines of prospective funders, planning introductions.
- Write compelling, concise, well-presented, tailored approaches and grant applications in Word and Canva.
- Liaise with the Operations team, to gather the relevant information for grant applications (e.g. data, case studies, imagery etc).
- Ensure systems are kept up to date with all details of grant application documents, progress and outcomes and any other interactions with funders.
- Work with partners in Tanzania to offer them support and guidance
- Draft programme reports for projects for which you have raised funds.

THE PANGEA TRUST
The Pangea Trust is a charity registered in the UK and Portugal that exists to provide a compassionate solution to Europe's zoos and circuses seeking a life-long home for elephants in need.
We count some of the most influential animal charities amongst our members, and their belief in our mission is reflected in their generous funding commitments. Thanks to their support, we have acquired a 1000-acre estate in Alentejo, Portugal, which is currently being regenerated to create a haven for both elephants and native wildlife. Our management approach is supported by leading captive experts and wild elephant biologists and, with the backing of the Portuguese authorities secured, the first phase of site development is now underway.
The next challenge is to raise the necessary capital through both in-kind and financial donations that will enable Pangea to welcome its first resident elephants.
THE ROLE
The Fundraising and Communications Manager will be inspiring, intuitive, energetic and entrepreneurial, and conduct themselves with confidence and authority.
Key tasks will include:
· Strategy and planning: Work with the Managing Director to deliver a fundraising strategy and build a portfolio of donors and a pipeline of prospects.
· Propositions: Create compelling and tailored proposals for major donors, trusts, foundations, and corporate partners, to secure both in-kind and financial gifts.
· Networking: Build connections and grow peer-to-peer networks.

We are seeking an experienced Fundraising and Events Officer. In this role you will be responsible for driving, creating and implementing our short and long-term fundraising and events strategy. The role will involve a close working relationship with our Operations Officer and our Board of Trustees.
