Community Arts by ZK (CAZK) is an award-winning community interest company based in Pendle. At CAZK, we use art as a driving force to bring communities together from different age ranges, walks of life and social, and cultural backgrounds, with a strong emphasis on community cohesion, integration and well-being.

We design and deliver art projects, activities, and workshops that value, encourage and engage people in the community, allowing them to express themselves more effectively and communicate their ideas in a creative way. Our workshops and projects cover a broad range of techniques, and we work with creative practitioners and artists from across the world and from a variety of creative disciplines. Examples include fine art, mixed media, photography, traditional and contemporary methods, textiles, environmental artists, installation, and sculpture.

While this role will work across all CAZK projects the majority of time will be spent on 'Healing Arts for All' (HAFA), a large-scale, three-year heritage project that will engage Pendle's diverse communities in a wide range of activities including photography, textiles, film, sculpture, sound walks etc.

Principle Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and the team, you will lead on developing and managing creative art programmes, projects, activities, and events.

• Maintain and develop relationships among key partner organisations,local businesses, creatives, and host steering group meetings to develop new ideas and plans to progress and enhance the organisation, building communication and providing regular feedback. 

• Work with the CEO to develop annual organisational and project budgets, and manage ongoing programme budgets to ensure they are delivered as agreed within set budgets and timescales. 

• Research, implement and monitor programme and project plans, liaising with collaborators, partners, the community and artists. 

• Produce reports to ensure that relevant stakeholders are fully and consistently informed and updated about the progress of creative projects. 

• Determine and monitor the human and physical resources needed for the programmes/projects and ensure that they are available at the appropriate time. 

• Ensure effective marketing and publicity for programmes and projects. 

• Day to day project and personnel management, including staff and artists’ contracts, and project risk assessments. 

• Attend events, projects, and meetings on behalf of Community Arts by ZK, where appropriate. 

• Prepare and submit prompt reports, planning documents and information required by funders/clients with regards to service level agreements and any other contractual/grant funded obligations. 

• Ensure appropriate systems are in place for monitoring information required by funders and to ensure that all contracted staff are fully briefed as to their responsibilities in respect of monitoring information. 

• Maintain and update internal databases in order that data integrity is maintained and information is consistent across the data platforms. 

• Monitor and assess available funding opportunities, and work alongside the CEOto submit funding applications and tender submissions. 

• Develop new partnerships across Lancashire and Pendle to maximise existing and potential funding/tender opportunities

• General Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the update of Community Arts by ZK policies and procedures in line with best practice.

This varied role uses event and programme management skills to deliver excellent service in a fast paced environment within the Christian sector as we advance the work of The Maclellan Foundation, one of the largest Christian family foundations in the USA. The successful candidate will have excellent administration skills, with a minimum of 2 years experience, and will be engaged in the Christian faith and excited by the aims of the organisation.

Objectives/Key Tasks:

To provide event and project-specific administrative support in an accurate, timely and professional manner, including:

• Planning and co-ordinating multiple programmes, to ensure milestones are met to an excellent standard
• Conducting research, assembling and analysing data to prepare reports and documents
• Preparing and editing written correspondence, communications, presentations, publicity etc
• Managing booking and registration processes
• Managing and updating various databases on a regular basis
• Onsite event management; helping set up and run events as well as providing delegate support
• Providing customer service support, via phone and email
• Managing and maintaining schedules, appointments and travel arrangements
• Arranging and coordinating meetings, including minute taking

The National Academy for Social Prescribing (NASP) is a newly registered charity and company limited by guarantee. Our goals are to promote social prescribing and to bring about a social revolution in wellbeing, as set out in the NASP Strategic Plan.

NASP operates through a hybrid model of working, with most work taking place remotely using Microsoft Teams for meetings and planning. We have an office space at London’s Southbank Centre which staff can use to work. Purpose of This Role:

This is a pivotal role to support NASP’s strategic aims to promote and spread social prescribing at a local, national, and international level.

The purpose of this role is to provide operational support and act as point of contact for the organisation’s Finance and People functions, as well as providing Programme support across the organisation, ensuring smooth running and continual improvement of NASP’s processes.

The role sits in the Operations team and will work closely with the Director of Operations, wider Operations colleagues, and external Finance, Legal and IT providers, as well as providing support across the organisation. This will include supporting on NASP’s Innovation programme.

Person Specification:

Knowledge of finance processes, including bookkeeping, year end, invoice & purchase order administration; and preferably experience of accountancy processes for charities

• Experience with accountancy software and systems (e.g. Xero, ApprovalMax, Soldo)
• Experience of developing, interpreting, and managing budgets, forecasts, I&E statements, cashflows, etc.
• Knowledge of HR processes and policies, including supporting staff as point of contact for enquiries

Responsibilities:

Finance

• Act as first point of contact for Finance enquiries, both internally and externally
• Manage the Finance mailbox, ensuring queries are dealt with efficiently
• Co-ordinate day-to-day financial operations, including processing of invoices, purchase orders, expense claims, reconciliations, etc.
• Overseeing virtual card system (Soldo) for NASP employees
• Supporting CEO, Director of Operations (DoO) and Director of Finance (DoF) on budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and year end process as required
• Working with external Finance provider (Carpenter Box) to support processes
• Attending regular finance catchups, supporting these meetings and providing feedback on issues & processes
• Provide support to colleagues on NASP’s financial systems (ApprovalMax, Xero, Soldo, etc.), including developing and running training sessions as required
• Ensuring online and paper filing of NASP finance documentation is accurate, organised, and kept up to date

People, HR & Recruitment

• Act as first point of contact for staff HR enquiries, e.g. policy, annual leave, absences
• Work with DoO and CEO on HR matters where needed (supporting meetings, liaising with staff)
• Support line managers on annual appraisal and probationary review process
• Support on recruitment, including developing job documentation, posting job adverts, liaising with candidates and managing enquiries, scheduling and supporting interviews
• Work closely with the Executive Assistant for onboarding and induction of new starters, including arranging for IT equipment to be shipped
• Proactively identify ways to improve and streamline People & Culture processes
• Drafting and issuing contracts for freelancers, using NASP standard templates
• Support on People-related working groups, e.g. EDIB and Wellbeing

Programme Support

• Provide administrative support for colleagues on specific projects/programmes as required, including NASP’s Innovation programme (e.g. sending network updates, developing case studies for Innovation Hub, uploading data to NASP’s CRM system)
• Manage and minute meetings, including sending agendas, noting actions, and diary management
• Providing input and support on related areas of expertise (Finance, HR, Operations) to colleagues across the organisation, e.g. developing budgets or advising on organizational policies
• Monitoring and evaluation of programmes, to improve effectiveness (including financial evaluation)

Other Responsibilities

• Work with Operations team on improving and developing processes across the organisation, e.g. Wellbeing, EDIB, staff days, events
• Deputise for Operations team colleagues as needed to cover annual leave (e.g. supporting on meetings or managing correspondence)
• Work with external IT provider (Logicata) to support staff with helpdesk enquiries, and delivery/return of equipment as needed

Your role as EPRM will see you work directly with young people and teachers in schools that take part in Young Enterprise programmes such as company programme, day programmes and digital programmes. You will also oversee regional relationships, at local authority level or equivalent.

The EPRM role involves being flexible to the needs of the region and your team and to provide regional leadership. Some of the duties include, which is not an exhaustive list

• Deliver and or support the delivery of Young Enterprise programmes and services in schools, colleges, universities, and youth centres
• Work as part of the regional team to proactively identify and generate sources of local income to support YE programmes.
• Manage and monitor KPIs and local contracts associated with the above tasks through the regional operations plan set out by the Regional Manager.
• Work with the local YE Volunteer Team (LVT), providing support, direction and opportunities to engage with local activity, which may include fundraising, volunteering on programmes and / or promoting our programmes to new school
• Work closely with Programmes & Services team to support the development and delivery of our full suite of programmes, while also developing your own knowledge and understanding of our full suite of programmes and services to promote to schools.

The Philanthropy Manager plays a major role in meeting the organisation's ambitious fundraising goals. Responsible for major giving and grants portfolios, the Philanthropy Manager identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards financial support from generous individuals and granting bodies.

With a proven track record the successful candidate will network with key stakeholders, present compelling communications, and generate significant funds. In turn, these funds will enable Animal Equality to achieve it's ambitious financial targets and carry out its crucial campaigns to meaningfully transform and save the lives of farmed animals.

General Responsibilities:

• Oversee a dedicated portfolio of donors and prospects: with a track-record of soliciting significant financial gifts (six-figure levels) and generating new prospects that convert to major gifts, handle the introduction, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans / activities for new and existing major donors, trusts, and foundations. Nurture a solid base of trust amongst supporters, understanding their giving preferences so that Animal Equality’s income-generating relationships result in the greatest lifetime impact for animals. Encourage existing funders to generate repeat donations, securing an uplift or multi-year grant.
• Proactively build our supporter base: persuade existing donors, trusts, and foundations to leverage their networks in support of Animal Equality’s work, employing innovative relationship management techniques and creating creative propositions to maximise giving, engagement and onward referral. Conduct comprehensive fundraising research, and produce high-quality, strategic, and measurable funding applications, to develop a healthy pipeline of new funding sources, stewarding donors and grant-makers that fit Animal Equality’s ethos.
• Increase demand for farmed animal philanthropic giving: showcasing Animal Equality’s life-saving role in delivering meaningful change for farmed animals, employ proven approaches to map out networks for potential supporters. Proactively identify and cultivate prospective major donors through proactive in-person meetings, events, forums, events, and other strategic communications, establishing a dialogue that converts into income for Animal Equality.
• Inspire loyalty to the cause: design and deliver high-quality, bespoke supporter experiences, supplying current and potential donors with timely, authentic, and persuasive communications to inspire ongoing giving. Leverage a range of tools, including digital, direct mail and telephone strategies, to develop a dynamic prospect pipeline, increase engagement and maximise ask opportunities within Animal Equality’s supporter pool. Share regular updates and impact reports with major donors and granting bodies.
• Meet and exceed annual income targets in support of our vision: successfully secure financial gifts through funding proposals to individuals and grant-giving bodies, monitoring annual targets and planned budgets. Develop and execute individualised donor plans and grant proposals, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies
• Oversee the organisation of supporter events: support in the strategic vision for in-person events to celebrate and appreciate our supporters. Confidently and proudly act as a brand ambassador for Animal Equality, evidencing our impact-driven approach. Equip yourself with the knowledge of Animal Equality’s past, present and planned work for animals, to competently represent the organisation in all settings, whether by phone, email or in person, and communicate in an energetic and captivating way.
• Implement a strategic fundraising strategy: contribute to the development and implementation of Animal Equality’s annual strategic initiatives. Review and optimise existing fundraising strategies to forecast planned income levels and streams alongside fully costed resources that will be required to deliver on set targets.
• Cooperate with others: collaborative by nature, work with a broad range of colleagues to maximise fundraising opportunities. Work closely with staff in various departments and country offices to gain insight into international plans and achievements.
• Manage records and reporting: produce high-quality monthly and ad hoc reports for the UK Executive Director, ensuring donor and prospect records are comprehensive, accurate and well maintained in our CRM system. Evaluate current processes, make suggestions for ongoing improvements, and ensure GDPR, Fundraising Regulator standards and key fundraising protections are adhered to at all times. Compile precise and timely reports and updates for key funders relating to Animal Equality’s activities.

Position Requirements:

• A minimum of five years of related work experience in major gifts fundraising or in the field of marketing and communications, preferably at a non-profit advocacy organisation.
• A proven track record of bringing in major donations of six-figure sums.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred.
• A practical understanding of fundraising, GDPR and charity regulation.
• Knowledge of and proven ability to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Salary band £37,000-£40,000, depending on experience. This is a remote working opportunity (UK-based candidates only).

• Provide effective leadership, supervision and management to the staff and volunteer team, ensuring that appropriate targets are set and delivered.

• Work in collaboration with the Board of Trustees to ensure the organisation meets its legal obligations, operates within its charitable objects and has good management of its financial and staffing resources.
• Report to the Board of Trustees on internal and external developments.
• Ensure that the organisation has the appropriate management systems and structures in place to carry out its work effectively and safely.
• Contribute to writing grant applications for future projects and core work. Undertake training and development as required.

• Provides an on-going link and communication from one day shift to another ensuring that all scheduled and ad-hoc daily and weekly requirements – either food distribution or kitchen/event – are met. 

• When there is no daily volunteer foreman, covers the foreman role for the day. Also, could cover a missing driver shift (although should be a real exception).

• Handles ad-hoc collections and distributions outside the normal morning shifts (where no volunteers available)

• Acts as the contact point for suppliers and projects for ad-hoc requests and specific daily requirements

• In collaboration with Ops Director and Chef ensures clarity on what food is kept in the big freezer for kitchen and what can be distributed.

The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for Global Black Thrive involvement in the Culture of Care Programme liaising with the Lived Experience Advisors, the Race Equity Lead, Neurodiverse Connections, the Royal College of Psychiatrists and NHS England.

About the role

This role will provide financial and operational leadership and management for CCLC particularly focussed on the Legal Practice Unit and the Migrant Children’s Project but with support for the Child Law Advice Service and Coram International where required. Managing a small finance team, the role will hold primary responsibility for core financial functions within CCLC including legal aid billing and management and tracking of grant and other charitable funding. Through systematic and efficient financial management, the post holder will play a pivotal role in CCLC’s financial sustainability. The role will act as a key point of contact with Coram’s central finance team and a range of internal and external stakeholders on financial matters.

The role will also oversee the smooth running of the London and Colchester offices through line management of operations and administrative staff.

The role would suit a high organised and efficient business support professional with experience of financial management within the legal or charity sector. In particular, candidates with experience of legal billing and more specifically, civil legal aid billing, would be welcomed.

This is a largely office-based role in order to fully provide support to the finance and operations team. However, some remote / hybrid working may be possible depending the experience of the candidate after the initial settling in period (to be negotiated with the successful candidate).The finance team are split between the London and Colchester offices and the post holder should expect some travel to both locations. The large majority of the legal and policy team are based in London and as such regular (at least twice weekly) presence in our London office will be expected.
