The person
You will be part of the Young People’s Services Team who provide a range of services and activities for young wheelchair users and their families. You will have a friendly and professional approach to working with families and professionals and be highly organised to manage planning, delivery and relevant paperwork for all wheelchair skills services. About the role:
The SHP Somerset Cluster is based in the heart of the London’s theatre and shopping districts – the main hub is just off Drury Lane, with the other sites near Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road. The aim of the service is to support people over the age of 18 to navigate various support needs and develop the skills required to maintain independent accommodation long term.
As a multiple disadvantage (MD) referral and move on coordinator, you will work as part of a larger support team to ensure that consideration is given to the individual experiences of multiple disadvantage when it comes to accessing and moving on from our service.
You will work with people from their first interaction with the service: at the point of referral, ensuring that all aspects of someone’s experience is considered by undertaking a trauma informed, culturally sensitive assessment and supporting your colleagues to develop their awareness of these experiences.
From here you will then support their journey through the service by working alongside other support staff to foster a culture of move on, supporting the development of holistic and realistic move on goals.
This work will be underpinned and supported through the development of a move on programme. This programme, developed and overseen by the MD Referral and Move on Coordinators in partnership with the Recovery and Opportunity Coordinators, will be not only look to develop confidence and ability to navigate social systems, but also be accredited through SHP’s AQA Registered Learning Centre.
In addition, you will carry your own caseload for people living in the step-down services to ensure that they are prepared, equipped, and confident about moving on. This may include identifying current barriers within the system that can prevent someone from moving on successfully or within their set timeframe.

We’re a small charity with a global reach and an important purpose: to reduce the burden of pulmonary vascular disease.
PVD is a serious condition which can lead to heart damage and trigger symptoms like breathlessness, chest pain, fatigue, poor growth, fainting and light-headedness. It can reduce both quality of life and length of life, but it isn’t widely recognised, or well-understood.
We bring together an international network of professionals to improve clinical care, education and PVD research. The network comprises thousands of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry partners, supported by our small team in Bermondsey, London. About Black Thrive
Black Thrive Global (BTG) evolved from the work of the Black Thrive Lambeth (BTL) Partnership, which was established in 2016. We exist to address the inequalities that negatively impact the mental health and wellbeing of Black people so that the thriving of Black communities is the norm.
Our guiding principle is that Black communities should be at the forefront of reimagining, redefining, and co-creating a society where systemic racism and other oppressive systems have been dismantled so that they have fulfilling lives. We have two priorities – building a Black Thrive Research Institute and embedding race equity in systems change.
We have grown rapidly since 2021 and so still have a start-up culture and often deal with competing priorities at a fast pace.
The aim of Black Queer & Thriving is to explore the health and wellbeing needs of Black LGBTQ+ people in Lambeth and Southwark, develop community research that details these needs with the Working Group and use the outcome to influence local policy and infrastructure.
The purpose of this role is to support the Black Queer & Thriving workstream with the main priorities being:

Providing administrative support to the development of the Black LGBTQ+ Working Group, including organising meetings and minute taking;

We have an exciting part time opportunity to join our Befriending Service which aims to ease loneliness and isolation of older people across Dacorum.
You will be responsible for coordinating our volunteers who either provide companionship through home visits or friendly telephone chats. You will also help to promote volunteering throughout Dacorum.

Main purpose of Role

- Receive and record referrals for the befriending scheme from a variety of health and social care professionals, voluntary organisations, or family and friends
- Make contact with potential clients by undertaking initial telephone assessments and carrying out initial assessment visits, taking time to understand the needs of the clients and to assess suitability for the befriending scheme
- Actively recruit volunteers for both the visiting service. This will include interviewing potential volunteers and completion of DBS and references checks
- Provide individual inductions for all new volunteers recruited within the locality, ensuring that volunteers are appropriately trained to carry out their befriending role

About the role
The London Library is looking for an Acquisitions and Discovery Assistant to assist in the acquisition and management of Library E-resources and print resources.
The role includes supporting the successful acquisition and seamless delivery of electronic resources to library users, utilising and maintaining relevant library systems and records; assisting purchasing decisions and supporting licensing, ordering and payment processes; verifying access, liaising with suppliers & Library IT, and ensuring correct metadata is presented to users; plus monitoring resource use and collecting data for the evaluation of subscriptions. There is the opportunity to support membership and services, including giving tours to prospective members.
In addition to assisting with the administration of E-books, the role requires processes associated with the management of the print journal collection, including serials and donated materials, such as checking in new issues and ensuring publications are shelved correctly, applying stamps, recording invoices, recording changes in publishers' information and preparing completed volumes of serial parts for binding and checking.
There is potential to grow and develop the role, which will join our busy Acquisitions and Discovery team and assisting with administrative tasks associated with cataloguing along with supporting the Library’s internal Digitisation processes as required.

Digital CRM Migration Specialist
We have an exciting opportunity with a 12-month fixed term contract where we are looking for an experienced digital marketer who is process and data driven. This role is integral to migrating digital systems and processes to a new CRM database, improving them as we optimise new functionality. As the Digital CRM Migration Specialist, you will be responsible for defining digital data points and mapping digital data flows through to the new CRM and Marketing Cloud. As our Income Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the income processing tasks for the Income team and oversee processing for Gift Aid Claims. You will proactively process claims with integrity, consistency, and accuracy, in compliance with HMRC regulations, ultimately maximising our income from supporters.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve daily and weekly scheduling of income processing tasks, addressing complex queries while providing an excellent supporter care service, and managing Gift Aid claims efficiently.
You'll also be instrumental in providing training to others on the claims process, spotting any discrepancies, and collaborating with other fundraising teams to optimise Gift Aid claims.
In addition to your Gift Aid responsibilities, you'll process income and data onto our database, maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency. All income will be added and coded with accuracy and consistency.
To excel in this role, you'll need to adhere to data protection regulations, HMRC guidelines, and internal compliance policies rigorously. You'll also be an integral part of our Supporter Care team, fostering cross-team collaboration and contributing actively to working groups.

What are we looking for?

Karibuni Children, a UK registered charity, works to help Kenyan children from some of the poorest backgrounds, to fulfil their potential and release themselves from the cycle of poverty. At any one time, we are supporting around 700 children across Kenya and our aim is to walk with the children through their whole education. In addition to providing financial support to enable children to attend high-quality educational institutes, we work to reduce other barriers that may prevent those living below the poverty line from maximising their educational potential. This includes provision of nutritious school meals, school uniforms and shoes, learning equipment and feminine hygiene products. The charity is seeking to recruit a UK Operations Manager to support the programme of work. The successful candidate will be one of only two paid employees, working with the Trustees to lead the charity through the next phase of its development.
Job Description
Salary: up to £30,000 – 34,000 full time equivalent depending on experience.

Role purpose:
To manage the UK Office activities and support Trustees in administrative tasks relating to Fundraising, Finance and Operational matters.
Key work areas and tasks:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration & Operations
● Develop and maintain effective and efficient administrative systems
● Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, policies, procedures and guidelines with regard to staff, equipment and premises

Finance

● Carry out bookkeeping activities, creating banking schedules and ensuring that all cash and cheques received are banked within agreed timescales
● Oversee Gift Aid claims and ensure that compliance with regulations is maintained
● Assist volunteer Treasurer with preparation of management accounts as necessary
● Maintain records for restricted and designated funds, reconcile Charity Gifts income and other income sources.
Fundraising
● Ensure postings to CRM are accurate and reconcile to financial systems
● Manage receipts from online sites and ensure that CRM system is updated accordingly
● Ensure that all donations are appropriately acknowledged
● Organise and manage Karibuni’s own-organised fundraising events, marketing events on internal and external platforms, registering participants, overseeing risk assessments, and maintaining related records.
● Provide a focal point for 3rd party fundraising events, ensuring proper communication and recording

Marketing & Communications
● Make updates to the charity website and social media channels
● Design and publish the bi-annual print and email newsletter including writing and collating stories and images.
