Developed in 2011 the Approved Provider Scheme is a voluntary standards-based accreditation for rehabilitation and residential units for people with a brain injury.

The accreditation is then published for families, individuals and professionals to help inform their choices when identifying suitable provision for brain injury survivors. Our collaborative and supportive accreditation process guides units through every step towards achieving and maintaining exemplary service standards.
The Approved Provider Associate Manager will involve, conducting and writing assessments and working with their Manager to manage Lead Assessors, who are based around the UK and the Service User Perspective Assessors, who are either brain injury survivors, or family members/ carers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Contributing to the development and growth of Headway’s Approved Provider scheme, by continuing to drive forward standards and onboarding new units.
- Working with freelance Lead Assessors and Service User Perspective Assessors who are based around the UK, to organise assessments and ensure the schemes standards are upheld.
ABOUT YOU

Boaz is a small independent charity providing day services for adults with learning disabilities (members) in a beautiful farm setting near Winchester.
Founded upon a strong Christian ethos it is the “workplace” for around 30 adults for four days a week undertaking a range of horticultural tasks as well as cooking, craft, animal care and woodwork. Some members attend for just a half day, others several days a week.

The Bone Cancer Research Trust strives to provide a supportive network for all primary bone cancer patients to limit their feelings of isolation and anxiety. Coram Parenting and Creative Therapy Service offers art, music and drama therapy, therapeutic
parenting, clinical psychology and family therapy to children and families at our dedicated creative
therapies centre, in schools, and at home (online). We work primarily with adoptive and connected
carer families, and children who have low level mental health difficulties. We are a trauma-informed
service, and are developing Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) approaches in our work and
have specialist expertise in neuro-diversity and children with special education needs. The well
established team has a strong track record in therapeutic interventions, including music therapy and
narrative therapy based multi-family groups for younger children who are adopted or with a Special
Guardianship Order. We are developing partnerships with universities - Newcastle University and
The Institute of Contemporary Music and Performance and are piloting research based creative
therapy interventions. We work within very diverse communities and we consciously challenge
ourselves and our practice , seeking at all times to be inclusive and anti-racist. We welcome

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to provide therapeutic multi-disciplinary assessments
and interventions in our work with adopted and Special Guardianship Order (SGO) families. This
work involves trauma informed approaches, using DDP, narrative, family and life story work. The
team is led by a Clinical Psychologist who will provide supervision for this role. The team provides
creative, relational, and evidence based approaches collaborating with wider networks and reaching
schools and communities to inform child centred and trauma informed practice. The post offers a

Olallo House in central London offers accommodation and specialist support to street homeless men and women, victims of modern-day slavery or trafficking, and homeless patients undergoing TB treatment on discharge from hospital.
We are looking to recruit a Service Manager to ensure that the people living within the service have their rights protected, are supported to achieve their life potential, and are included in making decisions about their lives at every available opportunity.
A core part of the role is to deliver exceptional day to day management and leadership to a team providing support to people who might have a Mental Health diagnosis, dual diagnosis who have experienced homelessness, TB or other complex health conditions. In addition, they may also have been part of the criminal justice system.

Main tasks of job:
1. Operational management of current and future group activities for children and young people. Ensure they are appropriately staffed, meet needs and of a high standard within a safe and healthy environment.
2. Support to, and supervision of, the Short Breaks Co-ordinators to deliver well-managed and expanding services.
3. Development of new services/groups, changes to current activities, and the stopping of those no longer viable. These will include the provision of ‘alternative education’, after school/evening activities and increase in capacity of weekend services.
4. Financial/budget management of new and existing services including identifying and securing new sources of income.
5. Ensure demonstrable quality outcomes are developed for those who attend.
6. Joint responsibility (with the Adult Services Manager) to ensure our services are integrated and seamless and champion the needs of young people transitioning into adulthood.
7. Create a positive and motivational environment which allows the staff team, and the young people we support, to thrive.
8. Focus on each individual’s potential and making a positive difference to young people’s lives, ensuring they progress towards achieving their aspirations.
9. Embrace a culture of change and improvement. Instigate measures to improve access and quality. Maintain a focus on increasing the number and diversity of people who attend our services.

12. Recruitment, employment, supervision, and appraisals of staff team. Proactive management of annual leave, sickness, absence, and other personnel related issues.
13. Work alongside Finance and the Admin team to ensure systems accurately track financial and activity data. Ensure services are delivered within budget and relevant documentation is completed for the production of reports for internal and external inspection.
14. Ensure group environments are sensitive to individual needs and relevant assessments (including risk) have been undertaken and communicated to all relevant workers.
15. Ensure effective communication with others, including referrers, social workers, keyworkers, and carers. Establish effective feedback mechanisms with children, young people, and their families. Ensure the development of positive relationships with parents/carers is enshrined within our values and processes.
16. Proactively liaise with current and potential future commissioners/funders. Ensure availability of high quality and personally tailored services to address the personalisation agenda and attract those seeking a range of support options via personal budgets.

What you'll do:

About the Service
This is a pilot working as a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) with housing teams and Drug and Alcohol Services across District and Borough councils. These teams will be working with individuals who are presenting as homeless and have a number of Complex Needs.
Purpose of Post
Providing advice, information, onward referral and holistic support to clients who are experiencing mental ill health or need support with their mental wellbeing. These will be clients who are presenting to District and Borough councils as homeless and need intervention and support with their mental health and remain a source of independent support for all clients. Ensure that the safety and wellbeing of the client is monitored and reviewed regularly and that a person centred recovery orientated and trauma informed approach is embedded approach in all aspects of the roles.
Service Objectives
- To improve the mental wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health.
- To increase early access to help for people experiencing mental ill health in, by providing a clear and effective pathway to services provided by Herts Mind Network and other third sector and statutory providers.
- To contribute to an improvement in individual mental wellbeing.
- To remain a source of independent support for all clients.
- To reduce the use of police, ASB, tenancy enforcement, housing needs and environmental health services by clients whose primary need is related to mental ill health.
- To reduce the use of crisis services by people experiencing mental ill health without positive outcomes for the individual.
- To provide an assertive outreach approach for clients who are in crisis and/ or those that may have complex or multiple needs.
- To work collaboratively within an MDT consisting of CGL, District and Borough councils, housing teams and other professionals.
