PROGRAMME DELIVERY

• Programme Delivery: Plan and deliver activities, opportunities and events for young people in line with programme objectives, processes and guidance.

• Programme Content: support and contribute to the development/review of programme content, resources and communications such as newsletters.

• Impact and evaluation: Support the collection of monitoring and evaluation data, facilitating evaluation activities within training sessions and events as required; contribute to ongoing processes of programme learning and review as a member of the delivery team.

• EDI: Work with the Programme Manager to ensure that Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion are embedded in the process of programme development and curriculum design, including learning styles and accessibility.

• Youth engagement and insight: Collect and process feedback from schools and young people

Business Analyst

As Business Analyst, you’ll be vital to analysing and understanding business problems and opportunities from across the charity. You will be helping to understand user and business needs, break those needs out into constituent parts, analyse multiple solutions, and support the communication and delivery of solutions to meet the user needs.

Analytical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills are core to this role. You will work iteratively in cross-functional teams made up of people from across the charity to bring impactful and meaningful work to life.

As a Business Analyst, you’ll be able to:

• Lead and manage investigations into business processes, functions, information flows, data structures and software development processes, using various methodical and consistent techniques.
• Deliver at pace using agile methodologies and principles.
• Define improvements to business processes, while evaluating potential solutions based on the impacts across the organisation.
• Lead, understand and communicate the big picture while working to assure the overall goal is maintained in creation of product backlogs, in addition to working at a detailed level during sprints and iterations.

An initial activity will involve working with stakeholders to understand the on-going requirements to improve how we use our CRM (Dynamics). You will:

1. Liaise with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements for the continuing improvement of our CRM.
2. Design and document processes and workflows within the CRM and other products/services.
3. The support for stakeholders in using the CRM whilst distilling relevant information to our data team.

You should have demonstrable experience of business and systems analysis working including identification of business benefits, deconstructing user needs, business process modelling, requirements capture, prioritisation, facilitation, challenging business perspectives, sharing best practices and improving team processes and delivery and co-ordinating and leading other teams.

The Major Gifts Officer will build robust and dynamic relationships with Greenpeace supporters, both personally and with the wider organisation. You will develop and deliver bespoke cultivation strategies for donors and prospects to maximise their giving.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within major gift fundraising, including closing significant gifts. You will also have experience of managing a mixed portfolio of donors and prospects with an understanding of the principles of relationship fundraising/stewardship.

National LGBT+ Independent Victim Advocate

Do you want to make life better for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse?

Galop works directly with thousands of LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence every year. We specialise in supporting victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, hate crime, and other forms of abuse including honour-based abuse, forced marriage, and so-called conversion therapies. We are a service run by LGBT+ people, for LGBT+ people, and the needs of our community are at the centre of what we do.

We run three national support helplines for LGBT+ victims and survivors of domestic abuse, so-called “conversion therapy, ”and hate crime. We provide advocacy services, both in London and nationally, for LGBT+ victims who need longer-term support. We are person-centred, empowerment-based, and trauma-informed – meaning our focus is always on helping our clients decide what is best for them, and then supporting them through their journey.

We use what we learn through working on the frontlines with clients to work on national and local policy change, to improve outcomes for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence. We build evidence through key pieces of research, like our upcoming report into LGBT+ experiences of sexual violence. We push for legislative change, improved statutory guidance for victims, and better understanding of the needs of LGBT+ people around the country. 

About the role

You will be joining our growing national advocacy team, supporting survivors remotely across the UK and providing Face-to-face support, office based, or community-based support in Wales which will be 
delivered in the context of a confidential and a safe space for survivors. You will work directly with LGBT+ victims/survivors, offering them a space to talk and think through options, helping them plan what they want to do, and offering assistance in getting what they need from services. Your work will focus on needs specifically related to experiences of abuse or violence, including issues such as wellbeing, support with the criminal and civil justice process, safety and access to other services to enable survivors to cope and recover. You will be empathetic and thoughtful in your approach to understanding your clients’ needs, while maintaining boundaries and mindful of self-care.

Providing advice, advocacy and support to LGBT+ victims/survivors of abuse and violence, with a focus on so-called conversion practices, which will include:

• Remotely supporting, advising and advocating for a national caseload of LGBT+ people who have been subjected to abuse or violence. The focus of the support will be to LGBT+ victims/survivors of so-called conversion practices
• Ensuring your approach to contact with clients is trauma-informed, empowerment-based and person-centred.
• Providing information and support to enable clients to make informed choices and meet their individual needs.
• Assisting victims/survivors in dealing with the diverse impacts of harm and abuse (safety, emotional, social, financial, or practical).
• Assisting/supporting clients in navigating the criminal/civil justice systems, ensuring they are aware of their rights and options.
• Maintaining professional boundaries at all times and ensuring that clients understand the remit of the service.
   

Partnership working

• Providing appropriate referrals/signposting to other agencies including, housing, welfare, counselling and other support services.
• Maintaining positive working relationships with key agencies and Galop partners, including attending internal/external meetings, with a focus on Wales.
• Working with agencies to safeguard victims and survivors, keeping them informed of relevant changes to a client’s situation.

 
Monitoring and evaluation

• Ensuring all client records are maintained and treated in confidence, according to Galop policies and GDPR legislation.
• Keeping accurate records of work undertaken with clients in line with Galop’s policies and funder agreements.
• Assist collecting monitoring data and client feedback for reports.
• Understanding of and commitment to inclusive working with LGBT+ clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Acting in accordance with Galop policies, procedures and ethos.
• Being an active member of the Galop team, attending regular staff team meetings, attending clinical supervision and training.
• Participating and contributing to Galop service planning & strategic development, with a focus on Wales.
   

About you

You will have expertise in delivering needs-led specialist support services. You will need to be solutions-focused and enjoy working collaboratively across a diverse and committed team. You’ll need to have good resilience and self-care and be prepared to work in an environment where abuse and violence are regularly talked about. You’ll need to understand the impact of trauma and how that affects our team.

There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement under the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder has experience of LGBT+ needs and the impact of discrimination. Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of LGBT+ people’s lives, including awareness of the issues that LGBT+ survivors might face.
In addition, due to role being a Bilingual post, it is an essential requirement for the individual for this role to speak fluent Welsh and English. 

Location: This is a remote post, working from home.
The role will include travel to our London building and occasional travel across the UK and in particular to communities across Wales.
Hours: 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week) flexibility available

Our partner, an international charity, seeks an interim finance manager to support the international finance team. The successful candidate will be an all-rounder, with experience in preparing consolidated annual accounts, management accounts, whilst being hands on and taking on transactional elements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Day to day accounting and administration, including posting transactions; payment of suppliers and staff expenses; international bank transfers to overseas country offices; setting up and processing regular giving payments, and processing one off donations; banking; and process monthly payroll.
• Undertake reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including BVA analysis and summaries, and income and expenditure reports for budget holders.
• Prepare the annual consolidated accounts and financial statements, and support in the preparation of the annual audit, liaising with the overseas country offices.

Requirements

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant with all-round experience working in a small team within an international charity. Experience of leading on the production of annual consolidated accounts as per charity SORP in the UK, management accounts & analysis, and managing day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
• Hands on, able to manage a varied workload.
• Strong business partnering skills, able to work with finance and non-finance staff in the UK and overseas offices, budget holders and liaise with third parties, including banks and auditors.
• Strong communication skills.

This is a part-time role (3-4 days/week), that can be done either remotely or hybrid, coming into the office 1 day/week. All candidates (even remote) must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship. This is a 6 month parental leave cover. An immediate start is preferred.

Based in the Business Development Directorate, this role will enable Start Network to collaborate with Hub representatives to set up successful resource mobilisation functions in each Hub country and mobilise new funds directly for them. This is a critical role for our strategy and will require someone with experience in setting up ‘income streams’ from scratch (including setting resource mobilisation strategies and fund-raising protocols). This role requires someone with ample experience in coordinating teams across countries and securing new income from donors. Most Hubs are new entities (small humanitarian networks), therefore the support required will also include capacity-building, donor-mapping, direct engagement on behalf of the Hubs with the donors, and other activities, as defined and directed by the Director. Provision of support to the Hubs will largely be done through remote coordination, facilitation, and engagement. The business
development directorate is mainly based in London but there will be flexibility with regards to where this role sits. This is a new role and will require adaptability, a positive attitude, and a proactive character. It is also important to note that this role might be travelling 6 weeks per year (10 days at a time) to various hub countries.

About the role

Location: Community based working within the London Borough of Wandsworth, with some homeworking elements.

You will provide a personalised and positive outcome-based service to individuals affected by dementia and memory loss symptoms. The service will identify their needs and the services they may require, support the improvement of their overall well-being, and enable them to take control of their lives. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Team Leader on all aspects of volunteer recruitment, such as ensuring there is a continual bank of active volunteers, publicising vacancies and organising and conducting interviews. You will also be responsible for supporting the delivery of volunteer training and providing one to one support and group supervision as appropriate. In addition, the role will include matching of volunteers to families, assessing the needs of families, supporting with home visits, keeping accurate records and completing reports. The post holder will also support holiday activities with wider teams and outreach support.

You will need to have experience of volunteer recruitment and training as well as experience of managing volunteers. The successful candidate will have knowledge of the role of volunteers in community projects. We are looking for someone with experience of family support work and of effectively managing safeguarding issues. Comprehensive knowledge of local agencies, networks, and partnerships within the area of family support is required.

You are required to have excellent communication skills, both written and oral to enable volunteers, service users and partner organisations to be kept well informed about the project and to resolve any issues in the delivery of the project.

The salary for 21 hours per week is £16,624.40 per annum

The role and your key responsibilities

As a Partner Success Lead your role is to provide world class customer service to our partner base of over 2,500 schools and colleges. You will be responsible for onboarding our new schools and supporting our existing schools to make the most of the Unifrog platform. Solutions and customer service focused, you will make sure that all interactions with Unifrog are prompt, positive and successful. 

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Partner management

• Being the first point of contact for enquiries from our existing 2,500+ partners.

• Onboarding our new schools by setting them up on our platform and making sure teachers and students are ready to get the most out of Unifrog.

• Continually improving our onboarding materials and processes using feedback from our partners.

• Partner training and support

• Training staff remotely on how to use the platform.

• Troubleshooting issues and providing on-the-spot support via phone, email and video calls.

• Ad hoc tasks

• Leading on and supporting a variety of other projects across other parts of the business during quieter periods.

• Proactively working to foster a sense of community amongst our Unifrog partners and always thinking about how we can promote the sharing and embedding of Unifrog best practice across our partner schools.

• Supporting the team with general admin.

Key details

• £29,624 per annum (Grade A) plus a share in a company-wide performance bonus (pro rata).

Summary

A key member of the Strategy and Planning team, the Programme Manager (Impact Measurement) role will be responsible for embedding and managing Diabetes UK's impact measurement and reporting activities. This is a role that will work collaboratively and influence teams across Diabetes UK and will champion impact measurement. This role will contribute to continuous improvement in how Diabetes UK delivers its strategy to achieve outcomes for people living with and at risk of diabetes.

Main Responsibilities

You will work with colleagues at all levels to champion the use of learning gathered on impact across the charity and to enable the wide sharing of this learning.
As a Programme Manager (Impact Measurement) you will be able to work strategically and operationally to embed and introduce tools and methods for collecting, managing, analysing and reporting impact data.

About the Suzy Lamplugh Trust

Suzy Lamplugh Trust is the UK’s pioneering personal safety charity and leading stalking authority. We were established in 1986 following the disappearance of 25-year-old Suzy Lamplugh, an estate agent and lone worker who went to meet a client and never returned. The Trust exists so that what happened to Suzy does not happen to anyone else. For the past 37 years, we have worked towards reducing the risk of harassment, stalking, aggression, and violence. Our Stalking Helpline offers support and advice to thousands of victims of stalking every year, while our bespoke advocacy teams work closely with partners across the Violence Against Women and Girls’ (VAWG) sector, the criminal justice system, and both statutory and non-statutory services to ensure our clients can live a live free from abuse and fear.

You will be working alongside a team of advocates who are dedicated to supporting and empowering victims and survivors of stalking. By working with a caseload of 20- 25 clients, you will have the opportunity to provide holistic and bespoke advocacy to your clients, whilst leveraging your knowledge of gender-based abuse to support the Trust’s specialist mission.

Purpose of Role:

· To provide expert advice and advocacy to victims of stalking, both within the context of domestic abuse, and non-domestic abuse related stalking.

· To provide guidance and support by telephone, email and face-to-face to those affected by stalking.

· To provide casework support and advocacy to victims of stalking, liaising with both voluntary and statutory services to ensure positive outcomes for victims. 

· To support the operational Team Leaders where required.
