Role Overview: 

Reporting to the Operations Manager, The Premises Officer will be responsible for the security of the building and the safety of staff and learners, when on duty. The post is to cover evening shifts at the school, 5-10pm during the term dates and various additional hours to cover annual leave out of term dates, including the weekends. 

The team at PSAD are passionate about connecting the community through culture, art and design, making it affordable and accessible for all. Today, managed by Enable and firmly rooted in the community, the school offers art and design courses, including specialised courses like the Art and Design Diploma, a Family Learning programme where parent and child can learn and work together, and courses for young people.

Main Duties/Responsibilities 

• Set up studios as required, directed by the Operations Manager or the Curriculum Manager. 
• As directed, maintains the security of the School and the safety applying the closed down procedure at the end of each day , students and staff have safe access, unexpected visitors and contractors show identification and sign a visitor book; reports all incidents e.g. security breaches, threatening behaviour, theft to the Operations Manager or the most senior officer on duty. 
• Ensure all of the facilities, studios and teaching spaces are prepared ready for each class throughout the School's opening hours e.g. putting away equipment, cables, turning off heaters, clearing studios of rubbish, emptying bins, any cleaning as required during operational hours. 
• Assumes full responsibility for the building and the safety of students in the absence of more senior staff, contacting the Key Holder (Operations Manager/Head of School) in the case of an emergency. 
• Assists the Operations Manager with minor repairs as required. 
• Assists with the delivery, unpacking and storing of stock and stores. 
• Operate the school Art Shop and sell a range of art materials to students at designated hours, and refreshments to students in the evenings and at weekends, if required. 
• Handles cash accurately, including use of cash tills and credit card payments, maintaining security of cash and stock at all times. 
• Assist and contribute to key school events including operational tasks related to them such as setting up exhibitions, and technical support for tutors in using IT facilities for teaching and learning equipment. 
• General administrative and operational duties including taking payments from students for fees and materials, using the school MIS system to enrols students, ensuring that all details are inputted correctly to ensure accurate record keeping and check course information on the school website and make necessary updates. 
• To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the overall function, as directed by the Head of School.

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) is responding to the largest emergency in our 40+ year history. Over the last two years support for our cause has seen significant growth in income as tens of thousands of supporters have joined MAP, including individuals, trusts, foundations and corporates. Context and Background

The NSPCC's mission is to end cruelty to children. In order to carry out its charitable work, we rely on the fundraising support of people across the UK for 90% of its annual income. Within Income Generation, our aim is to provide maximum resources for the NSPCC and children by working together to create the best possible donor experience by building long -term relationships to create a supporter experience which is different, better and more rewarding than that of supporting any other charity.

The Mass Participation Team (MPT) is an important part of the Philanthropy and Partnerships department within the Engagement and Fundraising directorate. MPT is responsible for attracting new supporters through our mass participation events and products to maximise fundraised income, and to optimise onward journeys to retain supporters within the NSPCC family.

The Mass Participation Team focuses on three areas of fundraising;

• Third party events – sporting and challenge events organised by third party suppliers, where we market spaces, recruit participants and support them in raising money in aid of the NSPCC. For example, the TCS London Marathon, Cardiff Half Marathon, Ultra Challenge series, skydives, bespoke treks.
• Schools Fundraising – a suite of fundraising products tailored to schools across all educational settings, including Number Day, the Kindness Challenge and Classmaster.
• DIY fundraising – supporters who choose to organise their own fundraising event or activity. Whether they take part with family or friends, at work or at school, we support them through stewardship and fundraising materials to help them reach their fundraising goals.

Job purpose

The role of the Fundraiser is to manage a number of events in the third party events portfolio. The Fundraiser will be responsible for working as a proactive member of the team to ensure that the participation levels and net income from each event/activity are maximised. The key aspects of the role are:

• To project manage specific event activities, co -ordinate cross fundraising activity, develop materials, keep track of budgets and evaluate as appropriate
• To develop specific activities and build existing activities to increase participation and income.
• Work closely with the team manager to identify and implement new opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work as part of the Mass Participation Team to deliver the overall department objectives.

• Works with a range of NSPCC event participants and potential supporters, including corporate partners, major donors and volunteer fundraising boards .
• Works with a range of event providers, agencies and other suppliers that support fundraising relationships and activity.

Main duties and responsibilities

1. To maximise income by engaging, managing and inspiring NSPCC event participants and event enquirers.
2. To use creative and engaging methods of communication including written and verbal communications in pre-event, event and post event activities, that fit with wider audience journeys and experiences.
3. To be responsible for delivering a supporter event experience that surpasses supporters’ expectations in order to maximise opportunities.
4. To ensure maximised effectiveness and efficiency of sporting events by planning and best practice
5. To proactively improve and capture knowledge and understanding of event participants through developing the NSPCC relationship with them, delivering greater insight that can be used to further develop supporter relationships to deliver increased lifetime value across all forms of support.
6. To research and develop fundraising opportunities in sporting events both by reviewing NSPCC activities and the activities of other charities.
7. To carry out research through a range of sources, to obtain relevant information that can contribute to improving event promotion effectiveness, the event participant experience, maximising participant sponsorship income and repeat participation levels.
8.  Work with their manager, to devise, agree and deliver particular aspects of the Mass Participation Team’s annual business plan and budget to enable the NSPCC to plan its activity and services.
9. To work with fundraisers and staff in other departments to maximise relationships with NSPCC supporters.
10. To be the contact for agencies and other suppliers who support fundraising, ensuring appropriate agreements are in place and that goods/services are delivered as agreed.

Responsibilities for all Staff within the Income Generation directorate

• To be responsible for updating databases and supporter information systems on a regular basis in line with Data Protection legislation and NSPCC policy and procedures to ensure all records are up -to-date and accurate.
• To lead regular team meetings and actively participate in department meetings, contributing to strategy, discussions and decisions which will be beneficial to the NSPCC’s development of fundraising activities.
• To maintain an awareness of own and others’ Health and Safety and comply with the NSPCC’s Health and Safety policy and procedures.
• To take personal responsibility for keeping up to date with NSPCC work to end cruelty to children, including securing updates on project and service developments and general NSPCC news and also ensuring that the fundraising team does likewise
• A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people

Person specification

1. Mass participation fundraising events experience, including budget management, event delivery and marketing
2. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to deliver fundraising and training content, ideas and activity updates to a range of audiences in a clear, inspiring and confident way.
3. Well-developed ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals within an organisation and externally and achieve objectives through these relationships.
4. Ability to successfully negotiate with others to achieve desired outcomes.
5.  Proven ability to work with and through other teams and departments to maximise results for an organisation.
6. Well-developed numeracy skills for entering, recording, interpreting, analysing and presenting financial data in clear and accurate format.
7. Proven ability of demonstrating initiative and creativity to achieve desired outcomes.
8. Ability to collect and analyse data, identify opportunities and evaluate their viability
9. Ability to plan, monitor and implement projects/events/initiatives to agreed deadlines often with conflicting priorities.

The Royal Court Theatre has an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Finance Team as a Finance Partner 

The Finance Partner provides day-to-day financial management, reporting and business partnering support across the Royal Court Theatre (English Stage Company Ltd or ESC), a charity with two commercial companies. The role works closely with the Finance Manager, Finance Director and Bar and Kitchen General Manager as well as other departmental managers to ensure financial information is accurate, timely and fit for purpose.

A key focus will be the Catering Company. You will support robust financial controls, deliver key payroll and banking processes, and help maintain an effective operational link between the Catering subsidiary and charity, enabling informed decision-making and strong financial stewardship. Keeping up to date with finance and payroll software advances and integrations, the Finance Partner will also review and report on efficiencies and improvements across our finance functions.

The successful candidate will:

• Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, including pensions, PAYE, NI and statutory compliance.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to identify and suggest process improvements
• Experience of using accounting systems such as Xero and related finance tools
• Collaborative approach, with the ability to build positive working relationships across teams

About the role

This senior leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of WGN’s Clinical Services, ensuring the delivery of innovative, safe, high-quality, survivor-centred, trauma-informed and culturally responsive therapeutic support for survivors of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

As Head of Clinical Services, you will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering individual therapy, group work, body-based therapies and web-based counselling within WGN’s intersectional Black feminist framework and Holistic Empowerment Recovery (HER) Model. You will shape the strategic direction of clinical services, strengthen partnerships, embed strong clinical governance and safeguarding practice, and foster a culture of collective care, reflective practice and anti-oppressive leadership.

This role combines strategic leadership, service development, clinical oversight and people management to ensure WGN’s therapeutic services remain sector-leading, accessible and survivor-led.

About you

As Head of Clinical Services, you will:

• Provide strategic and clinical leadership across all therapeutic services, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed, strengths-based and non-pathologising support within an intersectional feminist framework.

• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams, line managing senior clinical staff and embedding reflective practice, wellbeing and anti-oppressive leadership.

• Hold responsibility for safeguarding and risk management as Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring robust case oversight and partnership working to keep survivors safe.

• Drive service development and innovation, using data, survivor feedback and best practice to shape responsive therapeutic pathways and specialist trauma interventions.

• Ensure equitable and inclusive access, strengthening referral pathways, managing demand with service managers and reducing barriers for marginalised survivors.

• Oversee monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance, ensuring compliance with professional standards and funder requirements and using learning to improve services.

• Build partnerships and sector influence, representing WGN externally and contributing to training, knowledge-sharing and policy discussions.

• Embed survivor voice and co-production across service design, delivery and development.
