We’re looking for someone who can seek out and build great partnerships, cultivate and manage large corporate donors whose values align with ours and help raise brand awareness. Someone who can proactively generate new and repeat business, and enjoys networking and building relationships with both corporate sponsors and high net worth donors.

This is a permanent part-time, and yet flexible role, for 3 days a week. We’ll explore the exact hours and timing with you and together find what works.

Your work with us will raise awareness about the climate crisis and the importance of sustainability in the business world in order to create a liveable future. You’ll help us restore wildlife and marine habitats, improve livelihoods in rural communities, protect against deforestation, alleviate climate anxiety in our young and of course help tackle climate change head on.

What does the role involve: 

• Grow our annual and long-term funding.
• Research and successfully secure new long-term relationships with exciting brands and large corporate donors whose company values align with ours.

The Head of Youth Engagement & Participation is a key senior leadership role at Peer Power Youth. Responsible for leading the youth engagement team (YET) across all aspects of safe and supported youth engagement (individual change) and ensuring youth voices contribute to tangible and meaningful system change (participation/system change).

The Young Partners we engage and connect with, have experience of justice and care/looked after systems. We work across London and Southeast regions, with occasional national events. Our work takes place in the community and in secure settings (examples include -HMYOI Feltham, Oasis Restore Secure School, and Secure Children’s Homes).

Release Counselling and Therapy for Women was set up in Brighton and Hove in January 2013, and registered as a UK charity in 2020, to provide affordable counselling and other forms of support for women across Sussex experiencing mental health distress. We specialise in maternal mental health, supporIng mothers and their babies during the perinatal period, a key Ime of transiIon in a women’s life in which many experience vulnerable mental health. As part of this, we aim to increase inclusion, reaching women often excluded from counselling and other mental health support due to cost.

Whilst we have offered a range of therapeutIc groups, workshops and 1-2-1 counselling over the years, we are currently focussing on delivering our flagship ‘Mother Nurture’ 10-week therapeutIc group for new mums, and our ‘Second Nature’ 8-week therapeutIc group for second + tIme mums across Sussex.

Our services are operated by a team of sessional qualified counsellors, and counsellors in supervised training, and work within the BACP Ethical Framework.

As the founding CEO is now moving on, we are looking to appoint a new CEO to lead us in this next season. The Chief ExecuIve is responsible for the successful operaIon and development of Release Counselling and Therapy for Women CIO, in accordance with the Charity’s Strategic Plan and policies of the Board.

£46,464 - £50,512 pro rata, depending on experience

Main Purpose and scope of role

1.Leadership

Provide leadership for the charity and its staff by -

• Ensure the values of the charity are embedded through the organisation fostering a positive work culture that promotes collaboration, professional development and staff well-being.
• Build and maintain key partnerships to enhance the charity’s impact and reach within the community. Including, represenIng the charity to third parIes such as, funders, the public, other sector agencies, and statutory bodies.

2.Governance & Compliance

• Work closely with the board of trustees to ensure the charity adheres to the highest levels of governance including all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the board of trustees are well informed of the work of the charity, providing them with all the information they require in order to exercise their fiduciary duIes and in accordance with their legal requirements.
• Ensure the organisaIon’s policies and pracIces are kept up to date and adhered to, including and ensuring effective risk management.

3.Strategy

• Work with the board of trustees to develop the strategic direcIon for the charity in line with the charity’s mission and objectives.
• Implement the strategic plans and communicate this internally and externally as appropriate.
• Keep abreast of sector developments, closely monitoring opportuniIes and threats, and taking acIon accordingly.

4.Operations

• Ensure the charity is resourced to meet the objecIves of the strategic plans.
• Lead fundraising activities for the organisation, including income generaIon, monitoring and evaluation securing diverse income from government grants, foundations, corporate sponsors and individual donors.
• Manage the financial performance of the charity, including setting budgets and providing financial reporting to the board of trustees.
• Develop effective controls, incorporating finance, data management, safeguarding, equalities, and monitoring systems.
• HR oversight.

5.Service delivery

• Manage the successful delivery of the charity’s work in line with its contractual obligations.
• Manage and upskill a team of staff, ensuring they are fully skilled and able to deliver effectively for the organisation.
• Ensuring all service delivery is impact driven and of the highest quality.

6.Communications and PR

• Manage all internal and external communicaIons for the charity.
• Act as a spokesperson and first point of contact for all press and media enquiries.
• Represent the charity at public events and conferences as opportunities present themselves.

7.Safeguarding

• To work alongside the Designated Trustee Lead for Safeguarding in creating a culture of high safeguarding standards throughout the organisation.
• To ensure that the statutory obligaIons with regards to safeguarding are met and any safeguarding issues arising are dealt with in an appropriate manner.

The Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is looking for an experienced and results-driven marketing professional with great know-how in marketing opportunities and managing agencies, and a commitment to women’s economic empowerment to join our team as Programme Marketing Manager for 12 months.

About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

• A proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising income targets by writing bids and securing medium value gifts (£10k-£150k) within a Trusts and/or Major Donor Fundraising environment
• Experience researching prospects, including Trusts/Foundations and major donors, and managing data/prospects within a CRM system
• Knowledge of GDPR/data protection laws
• Self-motivated and self-directing; strong time management skills; strong attention to detail; flexible; and honest, with a high degree of personal integrity.

● Developing a comprehensive income generation and marketing strategy that supports the delivery of the charity’s objectives and activities

The Senior Philanthropy Manager will line manage the Philanthropy Officer, supporting their development and fostering an overall culture of collaboration and high performance. The role will also personally cultivate and steward relationships with new and existing major donors, and work collaboratively on a programme of stewardship and cultivation events.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, develop and lead the Philanthropy Officer
• Manage a portfolio of existing donors, deepening their relationship with the charity and upscaling gifts
• Develop a healthy pipeline of new donors, managing prospects with a view to increasing gifts

Essential criteria

• Substantial experience of, and a strong track record in, major gift fundraising
• Experience of personally soliciting 5-6 figure gifts from major donors

• Identify and research funding opportunities, managing a pipeline of trust and foundation opportunities.

• Manage grant applications from submission to decision and provide appropriate reporting, ensuring high standards and alignment with our brand identity.

• Steward the donor portfolio effectively, maintaining strong relationships.

Roots to Wellbeing project aims:

• Provide a safe and inclusive space for participants to receive weekly support.
• Help participants to connect with nature and socialise with others to feel happier, less anxious and less isolated.
• Support participants to access other beneficial services, where appropriate, including health, social and financial.
• Support participants to move onto outdoor work or volunteering with friends of groups where appropriate.
• Facilitate a positive journey through the service for participants to ensure as many people as possible can access the service.

The role 

The roles has four main areas of work:

1. Leadership and management:

• Lead the Roots to Wellbeing team to reach its goals. 
• Line manage and support three Mental Health Officers, each delivering Roots to Wellbeing on one site.
• Work with local communities and other team members to explore new opportunities for the project and develop solutions.
• Work with CEO and Head of Fundraising to secure funding for project development.

2. Project management: 

• Oversee the delivery and development of the project to meet key KPIs.
• Collate qualitative and quantitative data and produce impact reports for funders. 
• Support team to ensure administrative records are kept up to date, including but not limited to: maintaining accurate participant records, work programme, incident reporting, risk management, external outreach, website.
• Develop a thorough communications strategy and build on current local referral relationships to further embed the programme within the VCSE & Health sector.
• Ensure service standard and quality is consistent across sites and policies and procedures are followed. 
• Recruit and induct volunteers to support session delivery.
• Work in partnership with stakeholders within and across the organisation to deliver project goals.
• Attend networking meetings and community events to raise awareness of the project and demonstrate its impact. 

3. Session delivery at Hartcliffe Millennium Green: 

• Continually build and maintain relationships with local referral partners to achieve a consistent referral rate into the project. 
• Deliver weekly Roots to Wellbeing sessions by; planning and facilitating delivery of sessions and activities in line with 5 pathways to nature connectedness and that are accessible to all participants, organising logistics of sessions such as travel, food and equipment, acting as safeguarding lead during sessions, liaising with co-facilitator, leading peer-support style check in at the beginning of the sessions and the grounding and meditation at the end.
• Lead on all direct communication with participants at Hartcliffe Millennium Green. Support them to create personalised development plans, signposting and referrals where needed. 

4. Other: 

• Support the work of the wider charity and specifically the South Bristol team as required. 
• Representing the charity externally through media work and presentation where necessary.

Harrogate Homeless Project is seeking to recruit a Volunteer Coordinator to join the Fundraising and Marketing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the growth and development of Volunteering within the organisation. Working with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager, the position will look to develop opportunities for increasing income across fundraising and recruiting volunteers for all areas of HHP activities.

The post holder will be responsible for the recruitment, induction and training of all new volunteers to HHP, and providing ongoing support to staff on volunteer processes.

​The Role

This role will work with HHP’s Management Team to develop opportunities for all areas within the Charity. Regular activities will include, developing recruitment campaigns to promote volunteering with HHP, ensuring all volunteers receive an induction and appropriate training, and identifying specific skills volunteers have developed and matching these to suitable volunteer opportunities to maximise the benefits for HHP and the volunteer.

There will be a particular focus on fundraising within this role, working closely with the Fundraising and Marketing Manager to actively build relationships with local businesses and organisations. Focusing in particular on promoting corporate volunteering and maximizing all support to help identify any potential fundraising opportunities for the Charity.

General responsibilities

Ø  Liaise closely with all departmental heads to identify potential volunteer opportunities.

Ø  Recruitment of all new volunteers to HHP through a variety of methods.

Ø  Overseeing the training and induction to include all external volunteers have a current DBS check.

Ø  Record supporter/volunteer details on the database.

Ø  Ensure storage of personal information is complaint with current regulations.

Ø  Provide a monthly report showing recruitment activities including induction, training and hours of volunteering.

Ø  Obtain feedback from volunteers and/or employers on the volunteer experience and use the feedback to improve the volunteer/supporter journey.

Ø  Build relationships with local corporate organisations to promote volunteering opportunities and recruit volunteers.

Ø  Be responsible for all corporate volunteers through the entire volunteer cycle.
