We also run a day centre in Shadwell, with a focus on supporting elders from the Bangladeshi and other communities.

We are currently in search of a passionate and committed individual to join us to lead weekly group sessions for young people. The role involves designing, leading, and facilitating various activities and sessions aimed at improving wellbeing, community connections and building resilience. • Collate, develop, and manage content for the HWR website and ensure the website is kept up to date.

• Collate, develop, and manage content for Healthwatch email marketing.

• Manage the HWR social media presence with engaging content.

• Support the delivery of Healthwatch events and engagement programme.

Role Requirements

Site wide general housekeeping service – ensure that the housekeeping services is of an acceptable level and is consistent across site.

• Carry out a cleaning service in allocated buildings/rooms/areas ensuring that daily tasks are completed according to the standard operating procedures in relation to the cleanliness/hygiene standards.
• Follow infection control procedures whenever carrying out duties and ensure procedures are followed should there be an infection control outbreak.
• Liaise with the Housekeeping Supervisor and House Staff on a daily basis – carrying out special requests in relation to Housekeeping.
• Ensure safe storage of cleaning materials and equipment and sufficient stock is maintained – informing the Housekeeping Supervisor of stock requiring ordering.
• Assist in the cleaning of communal areas on a daily basis and cleaning of carpets, curtains and high dusting on a rotating schedule.
• Ensure that any repairs required to fixtures and fittings are reported to the designated Facilities Helpdesk as soon as possible and any issues are reported to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Assist in routine housekeeping audits as outlined in the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and ensure any works are to agreed service levels.
• Prioritise work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
• Assist other members of the Site Services and Facilities teams as required.
• Undertake other or additional duties that are within your skills and abilities, as the organisation may reasonably require from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

Spear Programme

• Lead group sessions of up to 10 young people, using coaching skills to transform their mindsets, and to maximise their potential in stepping into the world of work
• Prepare and deliver coaching sessions on a weekly basis and find creative ways of developing ongoing relationships with Spear Trainees. This includes running application workshops with past Trainees as well as maintaining records and reporting on statistics.

Relationship management

• Build and manage relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including referrers, local businesses, and other organisations

Church Community

• The Spear Coach is directly employed by Alive Church, meaning you are part of a vibrant church staff team and submerged in an exciting faith community

The RSCM is on a mission to enable the flourishing of church music, and in particular to get children singing.

Working across the whole charity, you will work to sell existing products, courses and events, as well as membership subscriptions. With a passion for the power of singing and music, you will persuade musicians, teachers and members of church communities of the value of RSCM’s offerings. We are looking for an experienced individual to co-ordinate day to day delivery of the Best Years Project to include supervision of liaison officer, administration officer and recruitment and supervision of all volunteers who will provide emotional and practical support to individuals over the age of 65 with long term health conditions. Overview of Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be working with young people aged 12-25 years old who have experience of self-harm. Within that age group, you will predominantly be working with young people under 18. The post would suit an experienced support worker, preferably with knowledge of the issues experienced by young people who are trans / non-binary.

You will play a key role in providing them with support and advocacy both on a one to-one basis and within a group setting; working with them to develop their emotional skills which will allow them to cope more effectively with the difficulties in their lives. The nature of the work means role that the successful candidate must focus on inclusivity for the young people.

The successful candidate will have considerable experience in working with young people aged 12-25 and will enjoy the challenge of working with adolescents in difficult circumstances. You will need to be able to work within a non-discriminatory framework, ensuring the services are provided in a qualitative, responsive, and accessible manner.

The Amber Project exists to support any young person (aged 14-25) in Cardiff and the surrounding areas who has experience of self-harm. With our Constellation element working with young people aged 12-25. Since The Amber project was established in 2002 individual support and creative
workshops have been key elements of our work with young people.

Salary: £13,406 per annum (£26,812.00 per annum FTE).

Hours:  20 hours per week. Working pattern to be agreed with the line manager but will include late afternoons and early evenings to facilitate meeting with young people outside of school hours and attending workshops. Occasional weekends.

Our Carer Liaison Workers work within both local NHS Trusts (BRI and Southmead Hospitals), where they make a real difference, supporting adult carers – those who care for others who can’t manage without their help, when the person they care for goes into hospital.

You would provide information, advice and support, enabling carers to navigate their way through the intricacies of the hospital journey, whilst liaising with health and social care professionals to ensure the carers voice is heard and their needs are supported, including during discharge planning.

You would also work with hospital staff to improve their knowledge and experience of supporting carers, through development work and training.

You’ll be joining the team at a pivotal time for our charity. Having recently secured our core statutory income for the next 3 to 5 years we’re now looking to use that as a launchpad to grow and develop new and existing services.

Knowsley Carers Centre is a growing charity, established in ~October 1997 to support the borough's 16000 unpaid/family carers.

A highly motivated and experienced person is required to raise awareness of the issues unpaid carers face with staff from the health and social care sectors.

Proven experience of the sector and an understanding of unpaid carers’ issues are essential along with the ability to work independently.

Job purpose

The purpose of the role is to raise awareness of the issues carers and young carers face and the services available to support them to health and social care staff across the borough and promote the identification and support of hidden carers in Knowsley.

The Health Link Worker will provide a conduit between Knowsley Carers Centre, health and social care teams and appropriate networks and forums that support carers’ interests.

Job Description

The Health Link Worker will:

• Provide information for and about carers and young carers to GP practices and health and social care teams.
• Assist in maintaining carers’ information boards in GP practices and at other health and social care locations.
• Continue to promote good practice guidance and steer relevant personnel at GP practices and other health settings through the guidance framework.
• Provide presentations, training and talks to health and social care staff on carers needs and include all aspects of caring within the awareness raising.
• Raise carer awareness in hospitals and develop carer friendly processes.
• Encourage carer participation on forums, groups and boards.
• Network with relevant organisations to raise awareness of carers issues.
• Assist in the delivery of carer awareness training in partnership with other members of the team.
• Work closely with other organisations such as Healthwatch.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Community Wellbeing Support Worker to join our Flintshire Wellbeing service. This role does not provide direct basic care but is focused on motivating and supporting individuals to identify their own goals as well as developing self-management strategies to improve their health and wellbeing and maintain their independence.

This role will ensure that guided conversations are led by the individual and that they are at the centre of everything we do.This is a new service commissioned by Flintshire County Council on behalf of health and social care partners through the Welsh Government Regional Integration Fund. The service has been commissioned to fill a gap identified within existing service provision.

If you have an empathetic and compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their health and wellbeing, this role could be for you. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping individuals improve their overall well-being and make positive lifestyle changes following a recent hospital admission.

The Flintshire Wellbeing service aims to support individuals for a period of up to 6 weeks following hospital discharge. We work collaboratively with individuals to help them identify their strengths, overcome limiting beliefs, and develop practical strategies for achieving their goals at home and within their community.

A key element of this role will be to work with the individual and co-design a personalised action plan. From this information, meaningful functional goals and outcomes are developed with the individual, to promote wellbeing, autonomy, independence, and choice.
