You will have a proven track record of achieving fundraising growth and delivering income to target with a focus on recruiting community relationships and developing supporter led activity, running and challenge event recruitment and stewardship.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan for and deliver income to target and agreed Key Performance Indicators, acquire and develop new supporters in a planned way to achieve income targets and drive growth.
- Champion and facilitate a consistent and exceptional supporter care experience ensuring that all touch points have been recorded accurately and consistently on the database, in a timely manner, to facilitate integrated supporter care
- Effectively manage, acquire and develop supporter relationships across the community to meet objectives and raise targeted income.
- Develop good relationships with staff across the hospice and community services and the national fundraising teams.

THE ROLE
As the Corporate Fundraiser at Zoe’s Place Liverpool, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our mission by contributing to the delivery of our overall income generation strategy.

Job description
This is an exciting time to join a highly successful and friendly fundraising team at Meningitis Research Foundation (MRF) as out National Events Fundraiser. Our ideal candidate is passionate, proactive and organised and will enjoy supporting hundreds of Team MRF runners who are fundraising to defeat meningitis.
Events Fundraiser
Salary: £23,000-£28,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Bristol, hybrid or remote working with monthly meetings in Bristol
MRF National Events Programme
The MRF National Events Fundraiser is responsible for a significant proportion of our events income with hundreds of runners each year taking on the challenge of participating in iconic races such as TCS London Marathon and A J Bell Great North Run.
Many of our race participants join Team MRF for deeply personal reasons, having had first-hand experience of the disease. Without Team MRF runners we would not be where we are in the race to defeat Meningitis, they are fundamental to our work and have been so since our early days as a charity.
The National Events Fundraiser is an enjoyable role at MRF within a very successful fundraising team, which last year raised over £500,000 by supporting hundreds of runners on Team MRF.

Role Summary
This role is all about working with people, encouraging them as part of Team MRF and supporting them to reach their fundraising goals. You will need to be enthusiastic, outgoing and thrive in motivating people to take action through their fundraising.
You will need to be an advocate for MRF’s work to defeat meningitis, enabling people to achieve their goals and achieving the best for the Charity. It is through the determination of everyone involved with the national events programme that we are able to deliver a number of our goals as a charity. You will harness that passion to help each runner succeed and understand what a difference they make along the way.
With many different elements to the role from planning, marketing, stewardship and event delivery you will need to be flexible and adaptable. This isn’t a fully desk-based job, as at different points of the year you will get the chance to meet Team MRF runners face to face by attending the events themselves and delivering celebratory post-race receptions.
With large teams of runners across a rolling annual events programme you must feel comfortable in managing deadlines, overlapping plans and keeping on top of supporter communications. Whilst we have systems in place to support this, our ideal candidate is someone who enjoys taking responsibility for their own workload.
This a fun role that sees the events through from start to finish and a great opportunity for the right candidate.

Key Roles and Duties
In this exciting role you will be responsible for raising unrestricted income from individuals by planning and executing the day-to-day campaigns to recruit, engage and retain supporters through a range of channels.
More specifically this will include:
Strategic Planning and Implementation
Plan, lead, implement, and evaluate strategies to:
- Increase individual gifts through enhancing the donor journey.
- Boost the monthly giving 'thrive fund' programme.
- Develop new individual giving campaigns with a focus on direct marketing across various channels.
Donor Data Analysis and Segmentation
Analyse and segment the supporter base to develop targeted supporter journeys and ask strategies, using donor data from our CRM (Salesforce) to:
- Maximise the lifetime value of donors.
- Ensure effective use of supporter data for campaign purposes.
Stewardship and Donor Engagement
Manage donor stewardship to provide personalised and engaging communications, including:
- Producing supporter materials.
- Building a thanking programme that offers a personal and engaging donor experience.
- Collaborating with colleagues to identify individual stories for impactful campaign content.
- Ensure all activities and contacts are managed through the charity’s CRM system.
- Maximise gift aid opportunities.
Campaign and Material Management
Work closely with the Communications Manager to:
- Create campaigns.
- Generate publicity opportunities e.g. radio, newspaper, online etc.
- Engage ambassadors and campaign specific ambassadors.
- Collect and draft beautiful stories, testimonies and case studies that engage supporters.
- Manage the production of supporter materials.
- Assist in developing Mailchimp email marketing and analyse and evaluate user journeys to maximise impact.
Innovation and Market Trends
Lead the charge in:
- Coming up with new ideas and initiatives to bolster individual giving.
- Managing a continuous cycle of testing for new channels and techniques for acquisition and retention, based on audience insight and sector trends.
General:
- Collaborate and communicate well with team members and particularly line manager.
- We are a small dynamic team; the post holder will work over many areas offering lots of opportunity to work with staff in different departments and learn about the different aspects of charity.
- To recruit and manage interns and volunteers to support your work.
Role Requirements
We are looking for the right person to join the team – this could be someone with experience or someone who is willing to learn and has a strong transferrable skill set.
You will have:
- Effective campaign copy writing and ability to translate ideas into design briefs.
- A minimum level of skill in graphic design (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Canva).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with diverse audiences in friendly and welcoming way in keeping with WONDER’s approach to empowerment.
- A commitment to WONDER Foundation’s vision, mission and approach.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Experience of income generation from direct marketing campaigns (acquisition and/or retention) across a variety of digital channels for acquisition and retention.
- Experience of project management to deliver acquisition or retention campaigns within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Experience of using databases for targeting, segmentation, testing and response analysis and how to apply these learnings to future campaigns.
- Knowledge of Charity Law, Data Protection, Fundraising Code of Practice, and other relevant marketing or fundraising standards across the UK.
- Language skills in Spanish or French (key languages of our overseas partners).

We are looking for an enthusiastic fundraiser to create and grow income opportunities through events and community activities for the Neuromuscular Centre; a charity in Winsford that provides a range of unique, specialist services for people with neuromuscular conditions. The Centre is a warm, vibrant community that exists as the only one of its kind in the UK and Europe. You'll be joining a successful fundraising team that together raises £500,000 per year, and a charity that has been enhancing the quality of life for people affected by neuromuscular conditions for 34 years.
You’ll be maintaining NMC’s existing events calendar, as well as having the autonomy to develop the calendar further and put your own stamp on it. You’ll also be managing our community fundraising income, which includes individual giving, lottery, working with local groups and supporting individuals with their own fundraising activities. You will be developing and building relationships with new and existing supporters to maximise fundraising potential, as well as recruiting and managing volunteers from all walks of life.
We’re looking for someone with previous fundraising experience, with the ambition to take this to new levels. This is a really immersive role, working with the charity's supporters and donors, while at the same time being based where the charity operates. We are looking for a Regional Fundraiser to join our Poppyscotland team to work across the East of Scotland.
You will work with the team of Regional Fundraisers with your main responsibility being to develop, implement and grow supporter-led fundraising across the East of Scotland. You will deliver regional fundraising activities, and recruit and support fundraising volunteers ensuring they have a great experience whilst fundraising for Poppyscotland. A critical part of this role is also to support our volunteer Scottish Poppy Appeal Area Organisers to maximise their local Poppy Appeal incomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Develop, implement and monitor effective operational plans for supporter-led fundraising activities throughout the East of Scotland
· Management and production of Regional fundraising events working with the local businesses and volunteers
· Mentor Poppy Appeal Area Organisers to maximise collections
· Assist with the recruitment, development and training of volunteers
· Undertake fundraising administration duties including maintaining records of all activities, filing, correspondence post, financial reporting and banking
· Developing existing relationships and gaining new relationships with businesses and volunteers in their area through business development management

In this role, you will support high value fundraising activities, covering High Value Corporate, Community and Major Gift Teams.
You will provide expert assistance to fundraisers in the areas of systems, processes, and planning to enable efficient and effective high-value donor-facing activity.
You’ll use innovation, problem solving and process support to pursue productive and best practice ways of working.

About the role
As our ideal candidate, you’ll have strong research and analysis skills, as well as an understanding of prospect research principles and ethics, gift capacity indicators, and fundraising strategies.
As an expert communicator, you have excellent writing skills and experience creating various types of documentation for different audiences. You also have the ability to build and develop strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
To excel in the role, you will have:
- Familiarity with research resources and tools (ALF, FAME, and online)
- Experience using a CRM database (such as Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or Microsoft)
- Understanding Data Protection, ICO, GDPR, and PECR Guidelines
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with tact and discretion
- Good planning and time management skills

As Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring our supporters receive a positive and rewarding experience, as well as providing administration support for the fundraising team, including assisting on events and campaigns.
We are looking for a motivated, confident individual with strong organisational skills and an impeccable attention to detail, who is passionate about fundraising and our ambition and purpose. The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad understanding of a range of income generation methods and communication styles, and the charity sector.
You will play a key role in attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters including individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, and volunteers. From initial enquiries to fundraisers and doners, to taking responsibility for our thanking, you will look after our complete supporter care journey and ensure that the Foundation provides an exceptional experience for our supporters.
You will develop key relationships within the Foundation and Club, providing support to the rest of the Fundraising and Engagement Team as required. Some weekend and evening working will be required as part of the role. Previous experience is desirable, not essential, and the right candidate will be given scope for career progression and additional responsibilities as we grow.
Key responsibilities
- Act as main point of contact for supporters and donors, responding to enquiries in a timely manner
- Provide fundraising support to those raising money for the Foundation, including challenge event participants, schools, clubs, and community fundraisers
- Assist in the delivery of matchday activity for the Foundation, primarily through our 50/50 Raffle and other activations that raise funds and awareness of our purpose
- Support the Events Manager and Head of Fundraising and Engagement in the delivery of Foundation events
- Support our growing portfolio of challenge events, researching opportunities for the Foundation supporters to raise funds, and delivering exceptional supporter care to ensure we maximise these opportunities and build relationships with our fundraisers
- Assist the Head of Fundraising and Engagement in the development and delivery of a community fundraising programme
- Maintain and update donor records on our fundraising database
- Manage the administration and fulfilment of auction and other fundraising prizes, being the main point of contact for donors and relevant partners and ambassadors
- Cultivate and maintain excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, including but not limited to Harlequin FC, their partners and sponsors, regular individual givers and high-net worth donors, community fundraisers, local schools and clubs
- Represent the Foundation both internally and externally, acting as an ambassador for the Foundation and advocating for our work
Person specification
Qualification and experience
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a professional environment in a similar, admin or events-based role
- Excellent user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and experience of CRM systems and project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to evidence experience of building excellent relationships and a confidence in networking and proactively communication with a range of stakeholders
- Experience of working with data and administrative tasks Desirable
- Experience of working in a similar fundraising executive/supporter care role (desirable)
- Experience of working with high-net-worth individuals or celebrities would be an advantage
Skills, abilities and knowledge
- Highly organised with excellent planning and coordination skills and a meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communications skills and decision-making capabilities
- Good financial literacy and confidence in working with data
- Excellent supporter care skills, with the ability to differentiate your communication to meet the needs of the audience and a willingness to go above and beyond to deliver exceptional experiences
- Knowledge of fundraising and understanding of different income generation methods with the charity sector
- Ability to keep calm under pressure and maintain a clear head, anticipating risks and solving problems
- Experience in managing a diverse workload with multiple deadlines and to be able to prioritise when needed

It will be responsible for developing compelling and strategically aligned applications to secure funding through various funding bodies and contribute significantly to the financial team target.
