About the role
We are looking for a creative, pro-active and outgoing Corporate Relationship Manager to join our team who can build on our successful corporate partnership programme. This is an exciting role that combines new business and account management, implementing Shooting Star Children’s Hospices corporate fundraising strategy with the aim of maximising income from corporate partnerships.
We would welcome applications from candidates with strong corporate fundraising or comparable experience who can maintain and develop existing relationships with corporate partners and proactively identify and secure new relationships. You will understand the need for a bespoke approach to each corporate, understanding their requirements and how best to achieve a mutually beneficial relationship. You will need to be committed, self-motivated and passionate about the work of the charity, and have demonstrable experience of delivering fundraising targets.
As a key member of our Corporate Engagement Team, you will be responsible for researching prospective corporate partners for specific industry sectors and building a pipeline of potential sources of income, identifying new opportunities and growing our partnership base as well as maximising income from current partners, and leading on our corporate volunteering programme. You will be a natural communicator who has the ability to persuade, influence and inspire, with the confidence to build relationships at a senior level, across various departments and industries.

We are looking for a motivated, creative, and organised Engagement and Communications Officer to join our team. This role is a unique opportunity for someone with a passion for building a fairer legal system through impactful events, engaging member outreach, and powerful communications. Working alongside the Director of Development and the Head of Communications, this role will work across teams to maintain and strengthen engagement through events, communications and corporate outreach. As Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring our supporters receive a positive and rewarding experience, as well as providing administration support for the fundraising team, including assisting on events and campaigns.
We are looking for a motivated, confident individual with strong organisational skills and an impeccable attention to detail, who is passionate about fundraising and our ambition and purpose. The successful applicant will be expected to have a broad understanding of a range of income generation methods and communication styles, and the charity sector.
You will play a key role in attracting, building and managing relationships with a range of supporters including individual donors and fundraisers, community groups, local businesses, and volunteers. From initial enquiries to fundraisers and doners, to taking responsibility for our thanking, you will look after our complete supporter care journey and ensure that the Foundation provides an exceptional experience for our supporters.
You will develop key relationships within the Foundation and Club, providing support to the rest of the Fundraising and Engagement Team as required. Some weekend and evening working will be required as part of the role. Key responsibilities
- Act as main point of contact for supporters and donors, responding to enquiries in a timely manner

Qualification and experience
- Educated to degree level or demonstrable equivalent experience
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a professional environment in a similar, admin or events-based role

- Able to evidence experience of building excellent relationships and a confidence in networking and proactively communication with a range of stakeholders

Knowsley Carers Centre is a growing charity, established in ~October 1997 to support the borough's 16000 unpaid/family carers.

Duties and Responsibilities

General Tasks

Senior Development Officer (Fundraising)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role:The Senior Development Officer plays an integral role within the Development Team at Forces Employment Charity (FEC). You will work with the Head of Development to produce high quality, bespoke proposals, and reports to demonstrate impact and outcomes to help drive the delivery of FEC across the UK. You will also work within the team to research and identify new fundraising opportunities from trusts, foundations and companies and convert these into long term business relationships.
This position provides a full-time, permanent contract with hybrid working hours, consisting of a 35-hour week. The role allows for hybrid work, including remote work from home, with one day per month at our head office in London.
Principle Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the Head of Development to research and identify new opportunities.
- Develop, prepare, and submit high quality funding applications, acting as bid writing SME.
- Peer Review support to mentor other team members.
- Work with Head of Development to increase the accuracy of our Salesforce data, resulting in data dashboards suitable to the reporting needs of our funders.
- Collaborate with Development and Senior F&R Officer to implement a team strategy and support a lean process of reporting.
- Work with Senior Finance & Reporting Officer to report impact to our funders in line in the funding requirements.
- To work closely with Head of Development to develop and implement our fundraising strategy.
- Represent the organisation at research based events, developing our understanding and enhancing our delivery.
- Identify new opportunities and working with the team to covert these to applications and funding.
- Lead on individual Giving Strategy, working with Head of Development and Development Officer to expand opportunities.
- Any other relevant duties at the discretion of management.

You will attend the Audit & Risk Committee and other board committees from time to time to present on risk and assurance. Although the role does not have any formal direct reports, the Risk & Assurance Analyst will have a dotted line into the Risk & Assurance Manager, providing support particularly on business continuity but also on risk management as and when necessary.
With experience of working in a complex environment, across a large and diverse workforce, you will be exceptionally organised with a high-level of attention to detail.
