Job description

At Guide Dogs, we believe that everyone with sight loss should be able to live the life they choose. As a Fulfilment Officer, you’ll play a vital role in making that vision a reality. You’ll be at the heart of our fundraising operations, ensuring that every donation we receive is processed with care, accuracy, and efficiency—helping us thank our generous supporters quickly and ensuring that funds go exactly where they’re needed.

In this busy and rewarding role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing and processing incoming campaign income, handling large volumes of transactions, and making sure each donation is accurately allocated to the correct campaign and donor. You’ll also manage physical donations—such as cash and cheques—with the highest level of care and control, ensuring that all income is reconciled and banked without delay.

You'll be working with our fundraising systems and databases, processing everything from credit card donations to charity vouchers, and making sure supporter records are kept up to date and in line with GDPR and Gift Aid regulations. Your attention to detail will be key as you handle supporter requests and amendments, solve queries proactively, and ensure we’re meeting our service level commitments.

If you're organised, methodical, and passionate about making a difference, come and help us turn generosity into action.

No two people with sight loss are the same, and none of our people are either. So, we are proud to offer a range of person-centred benefits that can support each member of staff in ways that really mean something to them – and show them how much they mean to us. We offer a flexible benefits package, discounts and cashback scheme, a generous holiday allowance and matched contributory pension scheme to care for our people.

This role will be based on site at our Reading office, working closely with the Fulfilment team. You’ll be working 35 hours per week, worked 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
