About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Bereavement Counsellor, with an interest in spirituality, to provide high-quality clinical assessments and individual bereavement support for adults needing to access our Bereavement Service.

This key role will play a significant part in enabling us to deliver our commitment to holistic, person-centered care and develop our Bereavement Service.

About You:

You will be a qualified counsellor, with a strong understanding of the theories of bereavement and significant loss, insight into human development and at least two years’ post-qualification experience.

Skilled in conducting clinical assessments and providing culturally sensitive, empathic, non-judgmental, bereavement counselling for adults (in-person and via electronic media), your calm, professional approach will complement your excellent interpersonal skills.

You will be self-motivated, able to work independently but also enjoy working collaboratively with your multi-professional colleagues.

We are looking for qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners to join us in delivering the best care we can to our clients.
You will be a qualified (IAPT) Talking Therapies, Low Intensity Therapist (PWP).

You will be actively committed to developing your skills in cognitive behavioural therapy in a primary care mental health setting. You will provide a Primary Care Psychological Therapies Service to customers of Mind in Bexley IAPT with common mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, mainly of a mild to moderate severity and impact, primarily Steps 1 and 2 (Stepped Care).

You will deliver high quality, high volume, evidence-based low intensity therapy which will be short term and primarily cognitive behavioural and self-management interventions.

PWPs will offer a wide range of interventions, including telephone and online treatment CBT programmes, psycho-educational groups, courses, workshops, webinars and one-to-one work.

This is a fast-paced role and carries a high-volume caseload. The role is varied and constantly evolving.

This position is offered on a self-employed basis.

FearFree delivers services across the Southwest for victims, children and perpetrators of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, with the aim to break the cycle of abuse and support all to live free from fear. We provide trauma responsive support, and this post will be fundamental to ensuring service users, stakeholders and partners experience this in our daily delivery.

The varied and rewarding role involves delivering trauma-informed, one-to-one educational support to adult victims of domestic abuse.

Working collaboratively with our IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advisors), you will help ensure that support is safe, inclusive and effective for people with a range of experiences and risks. You will play a vital part in championing people to recover from trauma, build safe relationships and move forward with dignity and hope.This role will also involve delivering our empowerment and recovery groups for those who have experienced domestic or sexual abuse. 

FearFree is committed to flexible and hybrid working and this role will be a mix of home based and office based, alongside requiring travel for multi-agency meetings and other deliverables. 

This role may include evening and weekend work when required. 

Key Responsibilities

• To provide 1:1 support for medium risk clients who have previously been supported by our IDVA team.
• Deliver structured, evidence-based and trauma-responsive group programmes for victims/survivors and individuals who have used harm. 
• Contribute to joint safety and support planning alongside IDVAs. 
• Monitor and respond to safeguarding concerns in with organisational practices. 
• Provide direct assessment, casework support, advice, information, and advocacy through telephone contact, and/or meetings at the relevant practice.  
• Provide support to increase people’s personal safety, and that of any children, and inform them of their rights and options in terms of housing, legal and welfare rights. 
• To provide signposting and onward referrals to patients. 
• To provide ongoing specialist advice and support around Domestic Abuse (DA). 
• To provide training to multi-agency partners on understanding, recognising and responding to DA. 
• Develop good working relationships and liaise with outside agencies where needed.   
• Keep accurate records of all referrals received and of work done with or on behalf of service users.  
• Work flexibly and manage your own schedule, including evening work on a rotational basis to meet the needs of those unable to access support during working hours.

Overall Duties of the role will include:

• Being an accessible point of contact for the children living with our carers and to our young people, keeping them up to date with the facilities and opportunities available with TACT

We are looking for a Sexual Violence Caseworker / Practitioner to join our Navigation and Engagement Service.

This role sits at the front door of our service, supporting adult survivors of sexual violence and historic child sexual abuse as they take their first steps towards recovery.

Overall Objectives

To support women who have been subjected to domestic abuse, ‘so called’ honor-based abuse and or forced marriage to navigate the barriers faced in their journey to recovery.

To provide holistic and trauma-informed support to women residing across Pdap’s refuge services who have experienced domestic abuse. The post will have a strong emphasis on supporting empowerment through one to one and group-based activities. This role will deliver targeted interventions, facilitate group activities that promote confidence and self-efficacy, and provide flexible, ad hoc support to a small caseload of women.

The successful applicant will embody the Pdap values and keep the client at the heart of everything they do.

Particular Tasks of the Postholder

The postholder will provide client-centred support and advocate for victims of domestic abuse by;

1. Providing bespoke 1 to 1 support sessions:

• Provide one-to-one support tailored to the needs of women affected by domestic abuse.

• Help women rebuild post-abuse.

• Complete support plans with women to ascertain their needs and work with them to achieve their goals

• To support women to access housing and other key services

• To ensure women have the means to live independently including support to access finance and education

2. Facilitating Group Activities

• Alongside the wider DAP team to design and facilitate a regular programme of group activities aimed at building confidence, skills, and emotional wellbeing.

• Promote peer support, personal development, and recovery through workshops on topics such as self-esteem, healthy relationships, assertiveness, and life skills.

• Encourage participation and co-production by involving women in planning and leading group sessions where appropriate.

3. Individual Support

• Hold a small, manageable caseload and provide responsive, ad hoc support as needed.

• Conduct holistic, trauma-informed assessments, support plans and safety planning.

• Empower women to make informed choices and access relevant services (e.g. legal, housing, benefits, health).

• Advocate on behalf of residents where necessary to ensure their rights and needs are met.

4. Partnership and Safeguarding

• Work closely with external agencies (e.g. social services, schools, health professionals) to ensure coordinated support.

• Proactively contribute to multi-agency safeguarding and risk management procedures.

• Maintain accurate records and case notes in line with organisational policies and confidentiality standards

Person Specification Knowledge

You will be required to:  

Essential:

• Minimum 2 years experience  of working with vulnerable adults or children.

• To have demonstrable safeguarding experience and be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS.

• Knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse women

• Minimum Level 3 qualification or substantial relevant experience in a related field with additional proof of continuing professional development

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.

• Strong organisational, report writing and communication skills, both written and in person

YMCA is our specialist project supporting children and young people across Sussex and Surrey who are affected by, or at risk of, exploitation. Through education, awareness-raising and empowerment, we help young people understand healthy relationships, recognise harmful behaviours, and build safety and resilience.

We now have an exciting opportunity to join our WiSE team as a Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner. In this vital role, you will work alongside the Service manager, an Early Intervention worker, and two experienced Practitioners. You will be co-located with the Exploitation team at Guildford Police Station, working collaboratively with partner agencies to support young people and contribute to multi-agency safeguarding responses.

The role involves a significant amount of lone working and frequent travel across Surrey to meet clients and attend meetings, with occasional travel further afield. Therefore, a full UK driving licence and access to a car are essential.

What you will be doing

In this role, you will hold a caseload of young people aged 10–25 who are vulnerable to sexual or criminal exploitation, providing intensive, person-centred support. You will work closely with professionals across multiple agencies to promote safety, disrupt exploitation, and empower young people to move towards safer, more stable futures. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of vulnerable young people, helping them stay safe and move away from the influence of perpetrators.
• Work collaboratively with partner professionals to design and deliver tailored support packages, offering specialist consultation where needed.
• Maintain accurate case records and contribute to clear, timely, and professional reports.
• Liaise effectively with Children’s Services, Surrey Police, and other agencies to disrupt abuse and support safeguarding and prosecution processes.
• Deliver training and awareness workshops to professionals, foster carers, and partner agencies to strengthen community understanding and responses to exploitation.
• Contribute to strategic development, deputising at relevant meetings and helping shape best practice across the service.

This is a challenging role; many of the young people you support may not recognise the risks they are facing or the abusive dynamics within their relationships. Supporting victims can at times be emotionally demanding and distressing. To ensure you feel supported and able to deliver high-quality practice, you will receive:

• One-to-one clinical supervision
• Weekly team meetings
• Regular line management supervision focused on both casework and wellbeing

Qualifications, experience and knowledge

We are looking for someone who brings a strong combination of professional understanding, practical experience, and a commitment to safeguarding young people. You will ideally have:

• A relevant qualification in Youth Work, Social Work or an equivalent field — or significant comparable experience working directly with vulnerable young people.
• Proven safeguarding experience involving children and young people, with the ability to identify, respond to, and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Direct casework experience supporting young people aged 10–25, delivering structured, person-centred interventions.
• Experience facilitating group work that engages, educates and empowers young people.
• Experience delivering and risk-assessing outreach work, ensuring safe, effective practice in community settings.
• A strong understanding of the risks faced by vulnerable young people, including sexual exploitation, criminal exploitation, and harmful sexual behaviour.

About You

We are looking for a practitioner who is:

Essential

• Qualified in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Mental Health Nursing, or Psychology

• Skilled in CBT or other evidence‑based therapies
• Experienced (3–5+ years post‑qualification) working with children and young people
• Confident in completing complex formulations and risk assessments

The role 

Gambling Support Practitioners at GamCare ensure that psychosocial and recovery support interventions are delivered as part of a cohesive recovery plan, working collaboratively with external and partner organisations to achieve positive outcomes for people affected by gambling harms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing face to face and online advice, assessment, brief and structured interventions to help clients achieve their recovery goals, using motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioural approaches
• Providing safe and effective support to individuals whilst managing safeguarding issues in line with safeguarding procedures and policies
• Developing collaborative working relationships with external agencies, professionals and groups to facilitate multi agency approaches and holistic support
• Developing relationships with local services and communities to support the identification of gambling harms in individuals and strengthen pathways into the service
• Participation in service promotion, networking activities and events to support visibility and ongoing development of the service, and to proactively respond to the needs identified within the region

This is a home based position with the requirement to travel across the East Midlands. This will vary but could be 2-3 days a week

We are looking for an individual to work full-time which will include a mix of 9-5pm and 12-8pm fixed shifts per week, depending on service requirements.

You will work Monday to Friday, with potentially occasional Saturdays (9-2pm remotely) due to possible requirements of the service, however another day off would be agreed on during the week.

About you

You should have significant experience in individual client work in the field of addictions, mental health or a social care setting with adults or young people. You should be flexible in using a range of low and high-intensity interventions and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools.

You will be expected to be able to work from home thereby having the space for a confidential setting whilst also being able to travel within the region to attend events and offer localised in person support as required.
