About the role
We’re recruiting a Head of Strategic Communications and Planning to lead WWF-UK’s external communications strategy and ensure our voice is trusted, influential and impactful to help bring our world back to life.
In this role, you’ll shape and deliver a clear, coherent communications narrative that supports WWF-UK’s mission, fundraising, advocacy and partnerships. Taking a supporter-first, insight-led approach, you’ll ensure our priority moments are planned and delivered through integrated, high-impact activity across channels and platforms.
You’ll provide senior leadership across the organisation, setting strategic direction, enabling effective ways of working and developing a high-performing team with the skills and confidence to deliver at pace. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, internal teams, agencies and partners to ensure communications activity is aligned, agile and focused on impact.

• Significant experience leading large-scale, integrated communications strategies and campaigns across multiple channels and audiences

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bid Manager and Writer to join our dynamic Business Development Team. This is a pivotal, hands-on role that will play a key part in driving organisational growth, securing new opportunities, and retaining existing contracts. Working closely with senior colleagues and internal stakeholders, you will develop strong, persuasive bids and proposals that meet financial targets and organisational objectives. While you will work independently on bids, you will also be an integral part of the wider Bid and Business Development teams, supporting colleagues and collaborating with subject matter experts as required.
SIG is a complex and growing organisation, delivering a wide range of health, social care and criminal justice funded services. In this role, you will lead competitive tendering processes end to end, crafting compelling, compliant submissions that align with our mission and values. You will take ownership of the full bid lifecycle, from early market engagement through to final submission ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance at every stage.
Many procurement processes screen submissions for AI‑generated content, and our bids must meet strict originality requirements. Applicants must be able to write independently and produce original bid content without reliance on AI writing tools
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the development and submission of competitive bids, ensuring all are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
- Collaborate with senior colleagues and internal teams to secure necessary approvals and sign-off for bids and budgets.
- Produce high-quality, engaging proposals that clearly articulate SIG’s vision, services, and value to commissioners and funders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and commissioners.
- Conduct market research and stay informed on trends across social care, criminal justice, healthcare, and procurement to inform bid strategy.
- Work closely with Bid Team colleagues to draft, review, and finalise submissions.
- Attend market engagement events and undertake service visits to gain insight and represent SIG effectively.
About You
We're looking for a self-starter, someone who can hit the ground running and form effective purposeful relationships within the organisation and externally, someone innovative, creative, and able solve problems to support our growth! Someone with previous experience writing bids and/or proposals, securing new or existing contracts. We're looking for an effective communicator, with a high attention to detail and quality. You will be passionate about what we do, supporting vulnerable people and understand the complexities of their backgrounds. .
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in bid writing and bid management, with a track record of securing new contracts and retaining existing ones.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to produce clear, compelling, and engaging content.
- Ideally, experience securing bids and proposals within the voluntary, social care, criminal justice, or healthcare sectors.
- A strong understanding of the sector.
- Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, including directors and commissioners, and leading bid-related meetings.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience using tender portals.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach, with the ability to take ownership of bids through to successful completion.

Role Summary
As a University Partnership Manager at upReach, you will play a vital role in securing and growing high-impact partnerships with universities committed to social mobility.
Reporting to the Head of Partnerships within the Income Generation and External Engagement team, you will be responsible for developing new strategic relationships, championing our partners' voices across upReach, and working closely with our Programmes Team to oversee a portfolio of university partners. You’ll lead stakeholder engagement, take ownership of partnership outcomes and work collaboratively across upReach with our marketing, impact and programme teams.
Core Responsibilities
You will play a critical role in advancing upReach’s mission by generating income and leading upReach’s University Partnerships strategy. Creating life-changing opportunities for our Associates through high-impact university partnerships. You will be directly supporting the organisation's strategic priorities: driving sustainable income growth, enhancing programme impact and expanding our reach as a national charity.

Develop and Secure New Strategic University Partnerships

Proactively identify, cultivate, and convert a pipeline of four and five-figure prospective university partners aligned with upReach’s mission and strategic goals.

Stakeholder Representation and Engagement

Collaborate closely with Marketing & Communications to co-create high-quality content and campaigns that showcase our strategic partnerships through university guides, case studies, thought leadership, social media, and joint events.

Lead on impact reporting for your partnership portfolio, using both data and compelling stories to evidence the outcomes of the partnership and drive continued engagement.

Proactively identify and deliver opportunities for partners to amplify the voice of upReach; through our external events, fundraising opportunities and sharing social-media collateral that promotes our work.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Innovation

Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and contracting for all University partnerships, supporting effective financial management.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of partnership activity using upReach’s internal CRM and systems, enabling effective reporting, forecasting and stewardship.

Uphold the organisation’s legal and ethical obligations, including data protection, charity law, and compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Manage and support a rotation of the Future Charity Leaders Programme, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.

Meet monthly with University Leads (the Programme Coordinator responsible for day-to-day university activities) to set partnership priorities, monitor stakeholder KPIs (onboarding, engagement), and deliver updates to universities.

Contribute to the achievement of income targets aligned with upReach’s strategic goals, identifying and progressing opportunities to drive revenue growth.

About Us
The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent's Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.

The Role
As a Park Operations Development Manager, you will seek to improve and optimise park operations, managing the quality of Landscape maintenance and lead on insourcing operational teams across TRP
Specifically, you will manage the programme of Landscape Maintenance Teams, leading the move from contractor-run services to an in-house team and supporting recruitment where needed. You will manage the programme of Landscape maintenance Teams, insourcing operational teams across TRP. You will put clear team structures and ways of working in place and arrange the purchase of the equipment, machinery and services required to deliver the work safely and effectively.
Working closely with colleagues across HR, Procurement, Health & Safety, Finance, IT and Park Management, you will create a clear plan and timetable for the programme and ensure everyone understands their role. You will manage risks, maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide regular updates to senior leaders to ensure the programme stays on track.
Additionally, you will:
· Lead the continuous improvement of operational processes
· Co-ordinate the project team and related activity
· Work with HR on employment arrangements for new in-house teams
· Maintain clear reporting throughout the programme
· Explore current Frameworks to aid the procurement/hire of Fleet vehicles and Plant and equipment and advising on lead times with manufacturers and seeking agreement with TRP regarding the final specifications and availability
· Manage our Green-Waste Facilities across TRP.
About You
To be considered as a Park Operations Development Manager, you will need:
· Extensive experience in landscape, amenity horticulture or park operations, including contract management
· Experience developing operational delivery structures and plans
· Experience specifying fleet vehicles, plant, equipment and machinery for horticultural or land management operations
· Experience of financial management and report writing
· Knowledge of Health and Safety principles, roles and responsibilities
· Good communication, interpersonal, relationship-building and negotiation skills
· Knowledge and competence in Microsoft Office (including Excel), with the ability to learn new systems such as Geographical Information Systems
· A qualification in horticulture or land management

Your role
The vision for this role is to see CMS’s three key mission objectives achieved in a Latin American context. This will specifically involve working to see two mission hubs in Latin America flourishing, with CMS contributing to these hubs through three main means of mission – people in mission, grant partnerships and capacity strengthening. The role also includes the management of CMS’s people in mission serving within region.

We are looking for a creative, proactive events professional to help us build on our existing events offer. You will lead a small team to develop and deliver the College’s events programme, including our annual conference, to increase engagement with the sexual and reproductive healthcare community and raise the College’s profile with new and existing audiences.
The role:
Events management
- Works with the wider CoSRH team, including members of the College, to develop an annual events programme to meet our educational responsibilities, provide networking and membership growth opportunities and raise the profile of the College
- Works with and supports members and staff through project groups to deliver events (digital, in-person and hybrid), including programme design, speaker and stakeholder liaison, logistics, and evaluation

One in 20 adults in the UK has never learnt to read at all. This can have a serious impact on their confidence and wellbeing, limiting access to training, employment, and everyday opportunities that many take for granted. Being unable to read as an adult can be isolating and dangerous, reinforces social inequality, restricts economic growth, and worsens intergenerational disadvantage - but it is never too late to learn.
Read Easy helps adults transform their lives by learning to read. It does this by supporting its growing network of locally run, volunteer-led affiliated groups that offer free, confidential, one-to-one reading coaching—both in person and online to adults - aged from 18-88.
With its free, flexible, confidential approach, Read Easy encourages people who are too embarrassed to join a class to come forward for one-to-one support. Each new reader is provided with their own personal Reading Coach, so that they can learn in private and at their own pace. Learning to read transforms their lives in many other ways as well, including enabling them to support their children’s and grandchildren’s reading, and so transfers the benefits to the next generation.
There are currently 80 affiliated Read Easy groups across England, together involving more than a thousand volunteers. Read Easy UK is the registered charity and umbrella organisation which supports this network of affiliated volunteer groups and provides the structure, training and support to enable volunteers to establish groups in new areas.
As our Central Regional Adviser, your role would be to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and oversight to ensure that all volunteer groups consistently deliver high-quality services aligned with Read Easy UK’s strategy.
You will support local volunteer leaders to strengthen group performance, and foster collaboration across affiliated groups, so that that they deliver coaching to Readers with consistent quality, and a positive and worthwhile experience is had by all.
You will also find volunteers to ‘pioneer’ three new groups in the counties where there is no Read Easy presence in the East and West Midlands and East of England and provide them and our 29 existing groups and pioneers in the region, with high-quality support. Your quality support will ensure that they provide the same for their volunteers and new Readers. From meeting (mostly online) with Team Leaders to provide one to one support, and hosting online and annual in-person volunteer forums, to delivering presentations and occasional training for small groups of volunteers, this is a dynamic and rewarding role.
This is a home-based post requiring flexibility, some early evening working and occasional travel to visit groups. The role is available on either a full or part time basis (min 32 hours p/w, 85% of 37.5 hours p/w FTE).
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Live within one of the following areas: West Midlands (Defined as the 7 metropolitan boroughs of Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, and Wolverhampton), Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire or Rutland;
- have been employed to work with volunteers for at least two years;
- have strong people management and interpersonal skills; excellent communication skills; and the confidence to run meetings and deliver presentations.

The Role
Working closely with the Chief Executive, Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, this role will drive meaningful, sustainable transformation across the organisation. This is a highly visible, impact and fundraising driven role. The holder will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this purpose-driven charity at a key time in its journey.
This role will have priority access to the Leadership Team and staff, as required. It will benefit from the Trustee Board's experience and hands-on support via the Chief Executive, will attend planning and SLT meetings, and participate in staff and Trustee meetings whenever needed.
As Transformation Lead, this person will ensure that the charity's strategic vision translates into a clear action plan with measurable impact. The role will align people, processes, systems and culture to strengthen fundraising performance, enabling the charity to deliver vital continued financial support to the maritime welfare sector.
Proven experience of success in a sales or fundraising driven background is vital, as is the ability to implement organisational change initiatives, bringing clarity to complexity and pace to delivery. Working closely with senior leaders and Trustees, the holder will provide data-driven insight, robust challenges and practical solutions. This role's influence will extend across all functions, embedding a culture of accountability, innovation and growth.

The Person
The successful candidate will be a strategic, values-driven leader with the credibility and confidence to operate at the senior level. This person will lead by example and will be experienced in mobilising others around cultural change and navigating complex transformation processes. This person will have led on a successful programme of organisational and cultural transformation, ideally in a sales, grant-making or charity fundraising setting.
