Osmani Trust is an award-winning youth and community charity providing a range of youth, violence reduction, employment, mentoring, and health & sports services to diverse communities in Tower Hamlets and surrounding Boroughs.

We are recruiting a Programme Manager to lead our grassroots consortium Better Bethnal Green (BBG), supporting young people facing multiple/complex disadvantages in the borough. Our partners and we are specialists in transforming the life trajectories of young people who have become marginalised by local poverty, unemployment and crime – particularly those from BAME communities who are disproportionately affected by these issues.

The candidate will need to have experience in managing multiple projects at a senior level, a proven track record, an excellent communicator and an understanding of London and in particular Tower Hamlets’ voluntary sector.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a creative and innovative approach to violence reduction and to leave a lasting legacy that positively impacts young people and local communities.

Age UK are recruiting for a Senior Influencing Project Manager on a fixed term 12 month contract.

We will be developing a number of research, policy and practice development projects in support of our new strategy. These include the 'extremely vulnerable people' project and a new partnership researching older people's experiences pre and post an urgent episode of care or emergency hospital admission.

This exciting opportunity will also take on responsibility for managing our response to the Pandemic Inquiry and relationship with the Health and Wellbeing Alliance. This is initially a 12-month role, with the possibility of extending to 24 months depending on project funding.

The successful Senior Strategic Influencing Manager will take the lead in designing and delivering these complex projects, including management of external partners, consultants or agencies and internal teams as required. The role will work closely with the Policy Lead, Clinical Lead and Head of Health Influencing to coordinate and drive delivery of the organisation's goals and strategic priorities across health and care.

This hybrid role, known as a Senior Strategic Project Manager within the charity, offers flexible working between home and a central London co-working hub. Occasional travel may also be required to attend meetings, workshops etc.

• Experience of leading complex projects to deliver a combination of research, policy and practice/ service development outputs.

About the role

The Partnerships Officer role will be part of the Business & Industry team (11 people), who have responsibility for all funding and industry relationships across EngineeringUK. The team works strategically with stakeholders across the engineering, technology and education sectors, to support our mission to increase the number and diversity of young people choosing engineering and technology careers.

As part of the New Partnerships team (3 people), you will be helping to identify and secure new relationships with industry, to support delivery of all four areas of our organisational strategy: research and evidence, collective action, activities for schools, and advocacy.
 

This will primarily focus on securing support for our work to engage young people through:

• The Big Bang programme which comprises The Big Bang Fair, the UK’s largest STEM Careers Fair; the Big Bang at School, smaller Fairs within schools; and The Big Bang Competition
• Energy Quest and Climate Schools Programme, which are programmes to engage young people within the school environment.

As Artists & Influencer Manager, you will work with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and deliver complex projects in support of Save the Children's campaigns. You will work with the rest of the A&I team to build a strong roster of high-profile supporters, influencers and ambassadors, stewarding them to become passionate advocates for children's rights, delivering audience cut-through, fundraising objectives and helping build Save the Children's brand.

• Alongside the A&I team, be responsible for identifying and delivering the right blend of high profile personalities to support projects, activities and objectives across PR, digital, events, campaigning, partnerships and other. 
• Spot opportunities and devise A&I activations that raise awareness and visibility of Save the Children amongst key target audiences with the aim of recruiting new supporters and encouraging them to take action. 
• Develop and maintain relationships with current artists and influencers, developing their involvement with Save the Children in creative and innovative ways.

The Women’s Centre Cornwall has grown from its early roots as a Rape Crisis Centre into an innovative, award-winning feminist organisation which provides a wide range of services for women and girls in our communities. Our work with survivors of sexual and domestic violence is our core specialism as we believe that there can be no real gender equality without a complete cessation of violence against women. In addition, we provide community-based activities across Cornwall and support women ex-offenders across Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and HMP Eastwood Park in Gloucestershire.

PURPOSE

The Effective Women’s Centre Project drives forwards and embeds a culture of data quality across The Women’s Centre Cornwall. We are looking for and experienced Data and Systems Lead to work with Managers to improve our data collection and reporting from our case management systems. The successful candidate will provide meaningful and accessible management information, outcomes monitoring, and performance reports; while supporting our Monitoring, Impact & Evaluation Manager to develop ways for us to demonstrate our impact and share stories of change. She will also support our Lived Experience Groups to ensure the experiences of women are at the heart of the organisation and inform our planning and decisions.  The Data & Systems Lead will be responsible for continued implementation and project management of the Women’s Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA) across our services. The WRNA is part of the Effective Women’s Centres Project which is designed to improve current understanding of the needs and strengths of women and to consolidate the evidence base for the effectiveness of Women’s Centres.

 RESPONSIBILITIES: 

DATA & REPORTING

• Lead on the development of TWCC’s data and case management systems (CMS) ensuring buy-in, consistency and accuracy across the organisation.
• Lead on developing reporting within the organisations case management systems.
• Cultivating a Learning Culture around data within the organisation.
• Extracting quantitative data from the CMS; carrying out quality audits and cleaning and organising the data in preparation for analysis.
• Delivering training to teams ensuring they understand the requirements and importance of data collection in a way that is engaging and inclusive
• Conducting in-depth ongoing data analysis to identify improvement opportunities, risks and issues.

THE WOMEN’S RISK & NEEDS ASSESSMENT (WRNA)

• Building upon the newly introduced Women’s Risk and Needs Assessment (WRNA) across the Open Team and supporting wider Women’s Centre teams to adopt the tool.
• Working with Service Managers, providing support to the Team Leaders, sharing learning and guidance on the use of the tool. 
• Monitor the progress of the implementation of WRNA and take appropriate action if any issues are identified.
• Organise and deliver training to enable practitioners to use the WRNA.
• Lead on integration of WRNA with case management software.
• Monitor recruitment of women to the WRNA project and quality of data inputted in the assessments.
• Lead on internal communications and messaging around implementation of the WRNA.
• Sharing learning with other women’s centres involved in the Effective Women’s Centre’s project.
• Develop and deliver a project plan which ensures WRNA is rolled out consistently across the organisation.
• Oversee the delivery of the plan, revising plans based on the changing needs and requirements of the project and wider partners involved.

LIVED EXPERIENCE WORK

• Co-facilitate the Lived Experience Group and involve women with lived experience in the implementation of the Effective Women’s Centres project and across our wider services.
• Support individuals in the group to contribute to our national influencing objectives

Blue Marine Foundation is seeking a Programme Manager who will be responsible for the development and delivery of the Convex Seascape Survey and lead relations with the project’s funder. This role may suit someone from a corporate or account management background, preferably local to London or the southeast and willing to travel internationally as needed. This is an incredible chance to work on pioneering global science project and to join a highly impactful charity at the cutting edge of marine conservation.

The Convex Seascape Survey is two years into a five-year, multi-million-pound pioneering research project working to quantify and understand blue carbon stored in the coastal ocean floor and its potential to help mitigate climate change. Convex Seascape Survey is a partnership between Blue Marine Foundation, Convex Insurance Limited and the University of Exeter, delivered in partnership with a consortium of over sixteen other organisations.

Project management

· Lead the project management process, matched to the project grant agreement, including oversight of project finance and all deliverables.

· Coordination of project partners to ensure activities and deliverables are achieved in keeping with quarterly milestones.

· Relationship management with project partners, serving as a main point of contact and ensuring their ongoing satisfaction with the project’s progress and outcomes.

· Responsible for organising and feeding into Steering Committee meetings, as well as contributing as required to Advisory Group meetings.

· Managing supplier relationships, overseeing contracts and work package delivery. 

· Representing the project at relevant conferences and forums or visiting fieldwork sites. International travel will be required at times.

Reporting

· Report progress into the steering committee on a quarterly basis, flagging areas of concern and actioning steering committee advice.

· Develop quarterly reports and updates for the funder against deliverables.

· Create annual reports for public viewing, promoting the success and progress of the survey, with support from the communications team.

· Creation of visual presentations for advisory and steering committee updates. 

Finance

· Overseeing budget spending data for the project with support from Blue Marine’s finance team, and co-ordinate invoicing and budget reporting for the partners.

· Liaising closely with Blue Marine’s finance team to ensure efficient deployment and tracking of project funds. 

· Coordinating finance reports for the funder and partners. 

Communications

· Present the Project at public conferences and various stakeholder events

· Supporting the communications lead in delivery of project outreach through press, digital and social media

· Contribute interviews or quotes for press on project developments.

· Assisting the development and delivery of a bespoke, project-linked education programme

The successful applicant will be highly organised, with a rigorous approach to project management. Desired experience includes:

· Successful delivery of multi-million pound, multi-year research programmes or other projects

· Track record of high-impact project management, accurate reporting and successful project delivery

· Competent and confident public-speaker with the ability to communicate complex subjects to a range of audiences which could include corporate, political and public audiences

· High level of numeracy with the ability to track multiple budgets over time 

· Excellent communicator with a diplomatic approach to management

· Skilled at reporting, with the ability to condense complex information quickly

· Aptitude and ability to work under pressure

· Basic scientific understanding may be valuable, but is not a prerequisite

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some evening and weekend work required from time to time.

About the role

You will be responsible for planning and organising a calendar of events for our team to attend, from shopping centres to country shows, high streets to our reserves, and everything in between, so that they can inspire members of the public to become members of the RSPB.

Our aim is to inspire external partners about our attendance at their events or venues. We are looking for someone who is a confident relationship builder with excellent telephone and email manners and communication and negotiation skills. You must have impeccable organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and be able to manage several tasks at once, recording all key details on our CRM database system daily to ensure that our team of Membership Fundraisers have everything they need to attend their events and venues.

You will be part of a successful and energetic team covering the whole UK. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the country. This position can be conducted from home, however, occasional travel, including to a local office, reserve or elsewhere in the United Kingdom, will be required.

What we need from you

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, including customer service skills.
• Effective planning and decision-making skills.
• Geographical understanding of the United Kingdom.
• Solutions focused approach with the ability to overcome setbacks and last-minute changes to get the best outcome for the RSPB.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Confident in learning about and using new software (eg, CRM database and Fundraising Portal). Training will be provided.

Desirable skills, knowledge and experience:

• Understanding of fundraising and what makes a good fundraising venue.
• Knowledge of potential fundraising venues.
• Experience of relationship development, particularly through cold contacting potential clients and suppliers.

IntoUniversity centre in Weston-super-Mare. You will have responsibility for running your IntoUniversity centre, including
managing your team, planning and delivering the programme, liaising with external stakeholders and meeting
IntoUniversity’s targets for delivery. A substantial element of this role is delivering our education programme to children
and young people aged 7-18, so you will need to have a genuine passion and enthusiasm for working with young
people, including leading a class of 30 from the front, working with small teams of children and providing one-to-one support.

As Major Partnerships Lead you will spearhead our ground-breaking charity partnership with M&S, steering a multidisciplinary team of YoungMinds' colleagues. You will be an experienced charity partnership lead or corporate account management expert, with outstanding agile delivery/project management skills, confident relationship-building and negotiation skills, alongside experience of leading programmes with multiple workstreams and stakeholders to deliver impact.

You will be responsible for effective delivery of the partnership towards its ambitious goal of raising £5 million over the next three years, enabling YoungMinds to double its reach to young people, and help get our annual awareness campaign, #HelloYellow, into every primary school in the UK. You will work creatively with our partner and steering group to shape both fundraising and purpose driven activity to maximise our impact for young people.

The Catalyst Collective is an innovative and rapidly growing non-profit organisation. Since our pilot programme launched in January 2021, we have expanded significantly. As we enter our fourth year of operation, we are seeking an organised and proactive Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in driving our growth and ensuring the successful delivery of our mentoring programmes.

The Programme Manager will work closely with the Programme Director to lead and manage key components of our mentoring programme. This includes building strong relationships with mentors, mentees, and partner schools, as well as coordinating training, enrichment activities, and programme delivery. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, a passion for empowering young Black women, and the ability to foster a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

Mentee Recruitment and Induction

• Work closely with partner schools to finalise mentee cohorts.
• Visit schools to deliver induction sessions familiarising mentees with the programme.
• Lead mentor-matching sessions with support from Mentoring Coordinators.

Mentor Training and Onboarding

• Develop and deliver training sessions for mentors.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator to ensure a diverse mentor pool.
• Support mentors to maximise the impact of their relationships.

Mentor Coordination

• Support a cohort of up to 30 mentoring pairs.
• Conduct monthly check-ins with each mentor.
• Facilitate mid and end-of-year reviews for mentoring pairs.

Enrichment Delivery and Planning

• Plan and deliver enrichment activities like career trips and work experience days.
• Evaluate the impact of enrichment activities and gather feedback.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors for enrichment events.

School Liaison

• Serve as the primary contact for partner schools.
• Regularly update schools on programme developments and mentee progress.

Safeguarding

• Act as a point of contact for safeguarding matters.
• Maintain accurate safeguarding records and ensure confidentiality.

Communications

• Produce a monthly mentor newsletter.
• Contribute to social media content.

Reporting

• Support the Programme Director in preparing updates for the Advisory Board and funders.
• Produce the End-of-year report showcasing the programme’s achievements.

Administration

• Review and approve in-person mentoring meeting requests.
• Conduct risk assessments.

Staff Management

• Line manage Mentoring Coordinators and the Programme Assistant.
