Stewardship is seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to head our Philanthropy Fund service. As part of our Leadership Team, you’ll champion biblical generosity, drive innovation, and lead a passionate team delivering exceptional service to high-impact donors.
You will lead a team of ten to deliver the vision for our Philanthropy Fund within Stewardship’s corporate strategy, lead and grow our Donor Advisory Board service, cultivate deep client relationships and expand our reach across philanthropy networks. Main Responsibilities
Human Resources:
● Coordinate recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions and contracts, applicant screening, supporting interviews and collecting references;
● Manage staff onboarding processes and induction material;
● Maintain and update HR policies, the staff handbook, and training records in consultation with the COO;
● Manage the HR system (Natural HR or equivalent) and ensure records are accurate and up to date;

The purpose of the Health and Physical Activity Lead is to work in partnership with health & care partners across the Black Country, including the NHS, Local Authorities and wider Integrated Care System partners.
The role will ensure physical activity & moving are fundamental to people’s health and wellbeing, benefiting individuals from childhood through to older age, by reducing the risk of injury or disease, improving mental health, bringing communities together and encouraging connectedness to support the prevention agenda.
This role will play a critical part in reducing health inequalities, improving health outcomes, and embedding physical activity as a core component of health & care pathways & interventions alongside community wellbeing strategies. Our unique Online Reading Volunteer programme currently supports over 3,200 children a year. About the Role
The Finance Assistant has responsibility for a variety of finance functions including the purchase and sales ledger, making payments to suppliers, invoicing Corporate Partners and Schools and reconciling bank accounts. They support the day to day running of the Finance Team ensuring that tasks such as posting invoices, reconciling customer accounts, supporting credit control and chasing non-payments are carried out in a timely and accurate fashion.
The Finance Assistant reports to and works closely with the Head of Finance and plays a critical role in resolving finance queries from Chapter One colleagues, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting internal processes and contributing to the effective financial management of Chapter One.

The Digital Inclusion Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the Black Country’s vision - of creating a region where people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds can be active, move more, and enjoy sport - through maximising the use of digital connectivity to realise health, wellbeing and community benefits.
This role aims to increase a range of opportunities for local people to be active & move more, through implementing the Physical Activity Digital Inclusion strategy to address user needs, develop digital literacy and confidence through training and support, and collaborate with other sectors to create inclusive digital services and opportunities.
Main Duties
1.As the Digital Inclusion Manager, you will develop and manage an implementation plan which reflects the desired outcomes of Active Black Country’s Physical Activity Digital Strategy.
2. Work with the place partners across the 4 Black Country local authority areas and Active Black Country to develop a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape across the Black Country.
3. Develop effective working relationships with a breadth of partners and organisations to support integration across digital platforms and systems to connect, maximise resources and influence across the Black Country.
4. Be the lead advocate for the Black Country Moving digital platform as a resource for stakeholders and community organisations to promote opportunities for people to be active and access high quality CPD & training.
5. Work closely with Active Black Country’s Active Communities Strategic Lead to oversee the work of the Community Engagement Officers and work closely with partners to build capacity across community organisations to become confident and capable in using digital tools that make it easier for residents to access physical activity opportunities.
6. Sustain an inclusive and accessible open data Black Country Moving Platform that promotes a diverse range of activities, services, training and CPD.
7. Ensure the Black Country Moving platform remains accessible, user friendly and responsive to community and partners needs.
8. Co-ordinate and chair project steering group meetings and produce reports for partners and appropriate governance requirements. Including ABC Strategic investment Committee.
9. Working with the support of the ABC Strategic Lead for Impact, ensure monitoring, evaluation and learning is captured and applied to help us fulfil organisational and place ambitions.
10. Work with the Active Black Country Strategic Communications Lead to share case studies and good news stories.
11. Under the Director of Partnerships manage the digital inclusion budget, ensuring accurate financial management and reporting.

We’re building a Transport Solutions Team that can work flexibly across all the tools in our delivery kit – from grants and innovation pilots to research, partnerships, and commercial interventions. This includes a growing portfolio of projects tackling key challenges like inclusive EV charging, complex community transport funding opportunities, and large-scale research such as the National Centre for Accessible Transport.
We are now recruiting several Grant Managers to join this team and help us deliver our vision. This role works within a dedicated team to assess grant applications from charities and organisations applying to the Motability Foundation for grant-funding to support their work in the disability transport sector.

What you will be doing:
- Manage grant delivery, including assessment, due diligence, contracting, monitoring, and closure, across our funding rounds.
- Engage with all levels of applicant and grantee organisations to understand their work, assess their proposals, and provide support and challenge to strengthen delivery and outcomes.
- Undertake financial, reputational, governance, and operational due diligence in line with our policies and risk appetite.

Role Overview
The Athlete Learning and Development Manager will design and coordinate a comprehensive learning and development programme for emerging athletes, their parents and caregivers, and alumni. This will be delivered both in person and online.
This is an exciting time for SportsAid as we expand the support we offer beyond financial assistance, building on the foundations already in place.
