Location: Central London, hybrid (2 days per week on site)
Contract: Temporary, 2 months
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £16.44 per hour (+ £1.98 holiday) (circa £30,000 salaried equivalent)

Prospectus is delighted to be supporting our client, a globally renowned higher education institution, in the search for a temporary Alumni Relations Coordinator.
This role provides a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to utilise and refine their skills within a dynamic advancement team at a prestigious university, with the chance to make immediate and meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a first point of contact for alumni enquiries, providing a professional and responsive service.
- Support the coordination and delivery of alumni and volunteer events, including registrations, guest management and event logistics.
- Assist with the administration of alumni programmes, volunteer activities and engagement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal processes.
- Produce reports, surveys and basic analysis to support team objectives and decision-making.
- Process event bookings, refunds and other related administrative tasks.
- Monitor and track event budgets, expenses and financial records where required.
- Conduct research and benchmarking activities to support projects and programme development.
- Build positive working relationships with colleagues, alumni, volunteers and external stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to operational efficiencies across the team.
Key Requirements:
- Recent, relevant experience in a fundraising, engagement, advancement, communications, development or similar role within the higher education or wider not-for-profit sector.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
