Job description

Location: Central London, hybrid (2 days per week on site)
Contract: Temporary, 1 month
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £16.99 per hour (+ holiday pay) (circa £31,000 salaried equivalent)
Start Date: ASAP

Prospectus is proud to be supporting our client, a globally renowned higher education institution, in their search for a temporary Business Support Coordinator. The role offers a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and dynamic professional to utilise and refine their skillset in an impactful organisation.

This is a highly varied role supporting both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, in order to ensure the successful day-to-day functioning of a prestigious business education department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex diaries, calendars and meeting schedules for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, including venues, catering, visitor registrations, AV requirements and meeting materials.
  • Arrange domestic and international travel, itineraries and related logistics.
  • Act as a first point of contact for client, participant and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and business systems.
  • Produce standard reports and management information.
  • Process invoices, expenses and financial administration accurately.
  • Monitor office resources and supplies, liaising with IT, Estates and facilities teams as required.
  • Support onboarding activities and provide cover for colleagues when needed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.

Key Requirements:

  • Recent, relevant administrative and/or operational experience within the higher education sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach, with the capability to work both independently and in a team.
